As for the elbows I went through heaps of elbow grief. There's this little f**cker between your bicep and tricep that gets overlooked which caused a bunch of my probs. Hit that guy with a massage ball or get your wifey to stick her thumbs into it. If you crook your elbow at 30 deg and feel around on the outside you'll feel a band of muscle that goes at roughly 45 degrees from just underneath the shoulder tip/point to your outer elbow. Chances are it feels like rock. Hit it both with your arm crooked and with your arm straight.
There's another little nugget in between bi and tri at the bottom just above your elbow too which is the top of the bit that wraps into your forearm which you need to hit.
