Grinnell27 gets serious With BPS LAXACRINE

First off id like to show my appreciation to BPS for allowing me to log their Laxacrine!

Im slightly behind on my log unlike the others who were also chosen because ive been on holiday this week so couldn't start it until today.

Plan:

Im going to be in a caloric deficit for the entire run of this bottle, it states there are 30days worth using 1ml per day. Im going to stick with this for at least a week and see what happens, if i need to up the dose... I will :)

Im going to be using this in a cut so my calories are obviously below maintenance. Im shooting for 2100-2200 to begin with and I will adjust accordingly of course.

Im planning to have a cheat meal every other weekend (saturday) unless I fell the need to have one each week.

Training Style:

Im a huge believer in Power Bodybuilding, all my main 3 lifts are powerlifting orientated (1-5 reps) and all my accessory is generally hyperytrophy (mainly failure).

I always traing my accessory to failure as I fell it works best for me and I get the best results/growth from it.

So it says ill be getting 100mg of laxogenin per ml which is a nice dose

First impressions:

So as you can see its green.. that was quite a suprise.

I applied it pre-workout just after waking, I will admit that I found it a bit of a PITA to apply as it wasnt particularly viscous, however I just did 0.25ml per site (each delt, each wrist) Ill have to check the other logs and see what everyone else is doing :)

Nothing else to comment on so far.

I will post my workout after this post so its not too long.

Todays workout:

First time back in over a week and MAN IT FELT GOOD!!!!

Decided on Shoulders and Arms-

Shoulders:

Seated Military Press-

5mins of stretching using a resistance band
bar x10
90x 10 (2 sets)
135x 8 (3 sets)
175x 3 (1 set)

Really trying to increase this as my shoulders are not very strong, they look decent(ish) however.

Seated Side Laterals (DB)-

25x failure
15x failure

Did this for 4 sets.

Rear delt Fly's (DB)-

45x failure (4 sets)
45x failure, 35x failure,25xfailure (1 set)

Upright Rows-

Never go heavy with these are i feel no need to

70x failure (4 sets)

Front raises (bar)-

80x failure (4 sets)

Arms-

CGBP-

135x 15 (2 sets)
175x 8 (2 sets)
225x 3 (2 sets) Like to overload the Tri's at the end.

Incline DB curls-

25'sx failure (4 sets)

Incline Skull Crushers, into CGBP-

80x failure, 80x failure (4 sets)

Hammer curls-

55's x failure (3 sets)

BW DIPS into Pullups-

BW x failure, BW x failure (4 sets)

And thats it for the workout today, felt great to have the pump again :)

Cardio-

15mins Elliptical (200cals)

So far today I've not noticed anything out of the ordinary while using lax... I do have a question though, I apply this upon waking pre workout, it's on my skin for roughly 1.5hours then I shower.. Do you think that will affect absorption?

I'm thinking not tbh but might be interesting to hear any views on the matter, I would assume it would absorb most of it by that point?

I think I read somewhere that you should wait like 4-5 hours - I can't quite remember but that popped in my head upon reading.
 
I'd apply before bed. A majority should be absorbed, but you may sweat some out as well.
 
I know Lax is good on the joints, but I also want to see if it can produce some gains!

I've used it before an definitely found it had some good muscle building properties!

So today's workout was BACK!!

My favourite day :)

Deads-

5min stretching and foam rolling
135x 10 (explosive)
225x 10 (exp)
315x 5 (exp)
405 x5 (4 sets)

315 deficit (3") pulls x3 (3 sets) working on speed here off the floor.

Haven't deadlifted for around 10weeks so I'm weaker for sure, not too bad though.

Lat pull downs-

175x failure (4 sets)

DB rows-

110x failure (4 sets)

Lat pullovers (cable)-

50x failure (4 sets) crazy pump with this!!

Seated cable rows-

330x 8 (4 sets)

Seated hammer rows-

2plates each side x failure (3 sets)
3plates each side x 3-4 (2 sets)

So that's it for back day, felt great to e training back again after a while :)

Laxacrine will be applied before bed now as opposed to in the AM.

No noticeable differences so far (early days to be fair)

Hopefully 30 days @1ml per day... Unless I change the dosage to 2ml.. Going to see how I feel after a week of use.
 
This is how I do it. I take a shower about an hour before bed and then apply so it has plenty of time to dry prior to bed time and I'm not getting it all over my wife or the bed.

Yeah that's what I'm going to do... :)

Day 3 of laxacrine.

I applied before bed last night, noticed that my shoulders and forearms were 'sticky' for quite a while after applying, it's no concern obviously, just didn't notice it before.

Right this mornings workout-

Today was chest day... I hate chest day :/

Flat BB bench press-

5min of stretching with a band
135x 15 (4 sets)

I just normally do that to warm up for DB press.

Flat DB press-

80x failure (3 sets)
90x 6 (2 sets)

Forgot to bring my slingshot to overload with 95-100.

Incline DB press-

Don't go too heavy with these.

75x failure (4 sets)

Incline DB fly's-

45x failure (4 sets)

Standing pec dec-

110x failure (3 sets)

Seated chest press-

135x failure (3 sets) just going for pure contraction.

Incline hammer press-

1x45 each side x failure (contraction again)

So that's it for chest...

Cardio- 15mins elliptical (220cals)

I've noticed that I'm slightly more vascular while using laxacrine, even though I'm still full of a lot of water from my holiday last week... I'll easily put on 6lb+ of water from 1 chest day!! So imagine a week! Haha
 
Workout is looking good and powerful. Holiday must have done you good!
 
Is this the first laxogenin product you have tried? Im going to be doing a strength by olympus labs log soon.

No. I've used laxogenin before but only at 50mg per day.

I noticed strength increases and fullness before, but to be fair I only noticed after at least a week and a half.

Still early to tell with this. I think I look fuller though.

What type of laxogenin did you use? I have the oral caps i plan on running at 100mg in a stack with epic unleashed
 
It was in caps, took 2 in the AM preworkout. 100mg is a perfect dose for this I think. 50 did work for me though.

I like to switch things up every once and a while and do 7 sets of 15 on bench every other workout no matter what muscle group I'm hitting that day. If I can get all 7 at 15, the next time I'll bump the weight and keep bumping till I can't get all 7x15. Then I just work on that weight till I get all sets completed. After that, yep, you guessed it, I bump the weight again. I'll do this for a month or two before I go back to my regular format. Really kicks your but sometimes!

Everything was superseded with arms.

Preacher curls into tricep pulldowns-

80x failure (4sets) Into 110x failure (4 sets)

Crucifix curls into dips-

70x failure curls into BW dips x failure (4 sets)

Pull-ups into Tate press-

BW+35lb x failure into 40xfailure Tate press (4 sets)

Seated dip machine (plates) into hammer curls-

2x45 each side dip x failure into 55xfailure hammers (4 sets)


I then decided to finish with a super pump set :)

Arm blaster into overhead tri ext-

1x10lb each side x failure into 70xfailure...

^^5 sets, around a total of 200reps... Nice little pump haha.

Cardio-

15mins elliptical (220cals)


Update-

I definitely feel a mild strength increase now along with muscle fullness and vascularity :)

I would say I'm slightly hungrier too, not greatly but a little. To be fair I'm always damn hungry.

was thinking the exact same thing.. anything i make whether its ground beef or rice or both or some chicken or ground turkey. i always fry up an egg, over easy, extra runny and throw it right on top of everything i combine (into a bowl)
