Kat and Puccah's Strong is the new sexy log

My only cool story was between my first and second marriage I had got down to about 6%bf and all my muscles were hard as a rock. Was working out of town staying in a hotel and this really hot chick that worked there part time and at a strip club part time kept asking me out. Finally I asked her if she was only wanting to go out because of my bod. She said yes of course. I told her I wasn't a piece of meat. The funny thing is the next day I met who would become my second wife at the gym.!

That's an awesome story, Turff!

lol well im very grateful I met you when your in your humbleness cause im guessing I wouldn't even get a "no way loser boy" any other time ;) :nutkick:

Haha, no way! I'm like this buff guy wants to be my friend?

This is cracking me up! I've been with hubby for 11 yrs...but I knew/went to school with a lot of his past "flings". So, yeah...there have been awkward moments there.

Aww you and Kat are both married to your high school sweethearts. :D

Pretty much!! We met right after I graduated. He was a "bad boy" & "ladies man". I was hooked!!

Haha, it's always the bad boys! We love them!!

Can add me in that as well. Been together 24 years! How has she put up with me that long.

Cuz you're awesome!!!!! :D She's one lucky woman! :)

My favorite one was bumping into an ex with my then prego wife, and having the ex tell me that twin girls was karma because I was a pig..... That was fun to explain.

You're talking to a guy with three daughters.

Oh god this is my nightmare. I still have far too many stories and deep seeded dbag bro tendencies to escape the inevitable.

My buddies always joked that little girls are a guarantee for past sins ha

I met my hubby in 10th grade as he was running down the band room hall way in his boxers. (At 6'5" and 118lbs and yes I was a band geek) I tried to hook him up with my best friend bc I thought there was no way a guy would like this fat chick (5'5" 190 at that point) He kept asking me out, we were dating within a few days and have been together since! He's still just as crazy but much more meat on his bones. (235) Haha

Awww, I love it! :D

Aside from a 3 month gap I've essentially been with two women for the past 21 years. 18 with the ex-wife and 2.5 with my ex-girlfriend.

72 posts since yesterday.... Holy crap. I have to schedule time to check this log now...

That's because this thread willingly gets off topic some! Which is nice...you get to know people here better & beyond just the workouts. It makes newbies, like myself, feel like I'm getting to really know the people I'm getting support from!!

Need to scissor some gym shorts next and show off those legs!
Great workout Kat! They stare because they heard of this so called Everyready Bunny at the gym but never actually saw her. They realized once they saw you who the ER Bunny is. Surprised you weren't asked to sign autographs...

You look amazing, Kat!

I watched a YouTube video this morning and this part captured my attention.

-What makes a guy get up at 3 o'clock in the morning vs a guy that gets up just in time to go to work. It's not that the guy who has to be to work at 7 o'clock and gets up at 6:30 to be somewhere at 7, it's not that he doesn't know that if he gets up at 5 o'clock, he could be better. The problem is that he don't have the heart, he don't have the discipline to get up early. It's not the knowledge that he lacks, it's the HEART.

Love that quote! Hubby gets up at 4:30 to workout before work. Then works a 10-12 work day....doing manual labor. I admire him. I get up at 4:30 too, but after my workout I come back home & spend the day with my toddler.

What a beautiful view! There is something empowering about watching the sun come up while out for run!!

Thanks Thomas! We've gotta personalize them! Lol

Wow Kat... That's "cutting down" the volume!!! You are such a badazz!!!

Well thank you! I'll take that!

Yeah I really enjoy it too!!

I was just thinking the same thing. She motivates me...that's for sure!!

Aww thanks!

Beautiful!! I always love seeing the sunrise and sunset even more so on a run!

My knees are aching so bad but flipping tires all day should help! :D

Have you ever flipped big tired before?? Reason I ask, is because you can mess yourself up if not shown the tricks to the form

I have and I was told that I was doing them incorrectly so I fixed it. The tires I'm flipping are just medium size truck tires. :D

I love the tire. Such great conditioning between flipping it, jumping through it, sledge hammering it vertically/ horizontally. I am fortunate enough to have a 350lbs tire in my backyard. Makes the home-gym that much more complete!

I like doing "as many flips as possible in 10 mins," take a rest and then try to match the number again. 25 minute workout and I'm pretty fried.

Haha!! I use 55gallon drums full of dirt. Have to stand them back up when they get knocked over. Average weight is around 765-820lbs per drum. I hate when I find drums laid over. If Health and Safety catches me I'd be in trouble. They rather I rent a backhoe and use a drum strap...lol Ain't got time for that!

Holy! Is drum tipping like cow tipping? Who would knock one of those big boys over?

Lol, you guys make me feel like a weakling!

Shoot, I've shown up on site and found just a pile of dirt and the drum gone. Hopefully they didn't use the drum to make a grill, the dirt is contaminated. Lol!
