Too many young guys lifting too much and then when I tried to give advice I got laughed at because I am a girl. Then they shut up when I was working out, I think they thought I was on my way to the treddy. then one of the idiots walked straight into my side raise, oops sorry it hit your head.

lol oops! and yea I hear ya, there are definitely a few girls in my local that put most of the guys to shame. some nights it is loaded with hs kids sitting around talking, drives me nuts with the "crowd" always being in the way.

i work at the gym so i can post something every hour if I wanted to haha.
But I'll save the best of the best so I can have a rant and release the frustrations on here.
 
We talk crap about the dbags at the gym but I really don't give a fcuk about anyone there. I'm in and I'm out within 45 mins to an hour. Their sh*t is irrelevant to my goals because the work they put in is not going to help me gain or lose.

Would love to see more hardworking girls at my gym but most can't even see past their huge fake tits to complete a decent workout. One girl I saw looked dedicated and I was like hmm maybe she knows what she's doing. Then I heard her talking to someone and she called her traps her lats. Then someone asked her if she knew where her lats were and had no idea. Most of the girls at my gym care about three things. Being thin, money and plastic surgery. South Florida in a nutshell

What's even more sad is that most of the time, when people take out their phone to make it look like they are busy or important, they are not doing a single thing. They want to make it look like they are texting or talking to someone on social media.
 
My friend just became a personal trainer and is critiquing my squats....

You're not ATGing your squats. You're suppose to go all the way down because that's what I learned in school.

I love atg squat I preach them if you Have knee pain from squating half assed. Plus they work the poo out of butt.

And we have a guy that just started trainer school and walks around telling people you need to do odd ball stuff but he does quater knee squats. Does these one arm dumbbell bench press to help fire his core.I laughed so hard when he told me I need to do them

I atg squat sometimes. I just didn't care about his training school stuff. If I have a question, I'll ask the people on AM, not someone who barely got their certificate.
 
Ok im not usually one to hate on what people wear in the gym but wtf is up with guys wearing yoga pants and Fanny packs there were two separate dudes lifting today in that gear...

A guy at my gym wears the same thing. Yoga pants, head band, wrist bands, a fanny pack, and a cut off t-shirt. Arms day, every day.

Saw it yesterday. It's the younger dudes here. Guys 18-25 in leggings. I don't know what's going on anymore.

Haven't seen the fanny pack yet.
 
I'm told that the leggings are very comfortable to lift in. One guy said they're way better than the singlet that he lifts in.

I don't know, I think it'll be a cold day in hell before you see this country boy wearing any of those to the gym!

I wore leggings when I was running track but that was just to make sure that my legs stayed warm. I dont think there is any other excuse unless you are lifting legs and even in that you gotta be like Ant and wear short,s I mean how am I supposed to lift with this massive erection? LOL

Youll be alright lol (if ur serious). I take down 2k post workout sometimes. Most of the carbs in that are from white rice too. So i should be doubly as fat by that dude's logic.

Today, one of those "Vegan Lifters" came over to me, asking: "What are you writing about?" Pointing at my training journal.
I told him to ask his personal trainer, standing next to him.
His trainer does not like me anymore.
 
Big meathead guy was deadlifts in the gym with like 3 plates on the bar. Then he finishes and just leaves without cleaning up! so i had to take all those weights off. What a prick. well he's on mah black list now. honestly I cant wait for next time he comes so I can watch like a hawk and tell him off.

Meatheads are ok they just make me laugh. What annoys me are those really hot chicks doing all kinds of provocative moves all up in my face. How am I suppose to concentrate on my squats!!! So annoying

I was putting a plate on the bar last night, and somehow that fcuker got caught on my headphones and ripped them. Ahhhhh! The worse part is that I couldn't drown out all the douchebag bs that was going on in the background!!!

Leaving plates on a DL is worse than leaving plates on any other move because it is awkward for others to take off and I've had to help ladies lift a side up to slide the 45s off. It really is an amateur dick move leaving plates on, period.
 
I live in a small town so only place to lift is high school weight room which is actually pretty nice 12 power rack cables shoulder press etc. Anyways we been having a kid show up at 5.30 to lift for baseball.well he's done curls every day so far. This morning I told him you can't do curls everyday and think your fgoing to grow. So he stopped curling did one set of shoulder presses then started curling a straight bar I couldn't believe it. Yesterday the coach told him to do only core lifts well guess curls is a core lift now. I wanted to slap him but I didn't.

I break wired head phones all the time. I'll only wear wireless ones now except in emergencies.
