Whew! Been a very busy past few days. Hadn't had time to really post. Busy season at both jobs. Got a workout in this morning all moderate weights nothing heavy since last week was heavy week.

Not been on the road really the past few weeks. But, I work on bids and deal with clients on the phone all day. Then after I'm off that job I work on stuff for my other employer(environmental) in the evenings and weekends. That work was only suppose to be 4-5hrs a week, last week I had almost 30 hours. So, basically a 70-75hr week. Rained out today so I can't go and sample wells today like I had planned. I'll be traveling some this week, should just be day trips. The weekend stuff should end in late June/July. My bank account is enjoying it...lol
 
Yeah, tropical Storm Anna sitting right on top of us right now. Gym was empty!
Kept everything moderate as my body just seems a little weak.

A guy was on the hammers strength next to me yesterday. Big dude, and was doing singles with 360. (Why on earth you'd do singles, I dunno).

I was thinking, Brian would be reppin' those out. lol
 
Was this the HS Chest Press? I've seen a guy do them like that except he was turned kind of sideways. Looked like an easy way to get injured...

On the lat pull downs: I'm able to really focus entirely on the lats when I do these. I'll hang just a few seconds prior to pulling down so I can really engage the lats and then I squeeze my shoulder blades together as I get to the chest.

Yes. He would lay back and do one rep, then go talk for 5 or so minutes and come back and do another. People kept asking if it was free...

Thanks, I'll do these. Sounds similar to a Stretcher but with a different grip.

Rest day! Checked my weight this morning - 206. Haven't done cardio in forever. Surprised my weight isn't higher. Time to recomp a little.... maybe 5-6lbs.
 
Its amazing how your "light to medium" weight is heavy for most!...I got to watch several people with there interesting techniques this morning as I was doing cardio! Even saw a trainer doing 1/8 reps on incline with 225....

I really liked those medium grip pulldowns too. Nice string lat work man.
 
Legs was light and easy. Tomorrow is chest. Then another rest day on Sunday. This week has been a pretty "casual" lifting week. Next week will be more regimented and structured. I'll also start posting routines up in depth

My left is definitely stronger than my right. 150 would be no problem with my left. I struggled to get 140 6 times with my right. Gotta work on that...

I went in thinking I'd do 900 on leg press but somehow I started doing these pause, speed, and controlled reps. Still got 800 x 5. In the long run it'll pay off, my legs are swollen unlike ever before!

Plan is for 700 hack and 1000 leg press by end of year. Also shooting for 315 on incline press and 400 on HS OHP. I set my goals high this year...but, obtainable...
