Have a talk with your newly skinny coach about it! Just take them shyts for a ride and see where you land.

I just want to get it over with so I can use fancy bars and 200lbs of chain on every lift lol

Welp....625 is easy. 625 is also high as ****. No shame. Those wraps stopped me dead so I'll have to loosen them up. I get an extra two turns out of them than any other wrap I've used, with just as much end hanging off.

Two monster mini's were rigged to the top of the power rack. I grabbed opossite sides to form an X, and did Tricep extensions like that. Was great.

Bench is feeling spot on. I'm tight with my setup, thoracic feels great. and with a better controlled descent, my bicep tendons feel good.

Ooh, stealing another banded Tricep exercise.
 
Tax return came in so I'll be ordering a Push Band I think.

Annnnnnd unknown when I'll be in the gym next. Maybe Friday or Saturday to deadlift. I have some time tomorrow morning so I'll go in and do some ultra-light upper back and RC work to keep the shoulders in check, and some ab stuff.
 
we use the push band every session that has our comp lifts in it. It's nice, doesn't pick up every rep every time tho.. That's irritating

That's what I heard so I'm slightly apprehensive on getting it.

Do you just wear it on your arms for squats? I also heard that it doesn't pick up sumo deadlift for some reason.
 
General consensus seems it can be helpful but isn't terribly accurate (yet)

yeah, I strap it to my forearm for all my lifts. It's never not counted my deads but I pull conventional.

My training partner pulls sumo, sometimes it'll count 2/3 reps.. Usually a rep shy.. But there is an adjustment setting

I went in tonight just to hit some light upper back and RC stuff along with a quick bicep pump. I'll be out the next couple days.

Eh, I jumped the gun. Looks like his oldest video is 10 months ago.

I couldn't do his programs. The specificity is too much for someone like me
 
Yeah izzy is super smart and really breaks things down nicely. He kind of disappeared a while ago though.

Check out his personal YouTube channel. Izzy Navarez (or something like that). He just competed like a month ago and posts training clips from time to time
 
I just bought 6 tubs of the Slingshot Protein. Mark Bell said its the best protein on the market. $65 for each was a pretty good deal.
