Awesome! On the skull crushers, try spacing your hands differently to help shoulder pain. I use an EZ bar and that really helps.

This. The cambered bar helps a lot with either shoulder or elbow pain.
Different wrist position will help too. Wrists back at the bottom straight at the top.

Thanks guys! I adjusted my hands a few times. Seems to be best when my hands are just under or at shoulder width. I find that my problem is my right elbow rotates out when I extend fully and try to squeeze at the top. If I don't do that, it doesn't seem to bother it much.
 
Slept in this morning and man was it wonderful!!! It was 15 degrees outside and out heater couldn't keep up so it was 63 in the house! Made me want to stay in the bed! Haha I know that's not very cold to you wasme but it's crazy cold for here! ;)

Went in at lunch for cardio! Downloaded a tabata timer on my phone and it was perfect! I didn't have to look at my phone to see the seconds! Just listened to the beep!

Lol I'm so cheap I keep my house at 60 in the winter. 63 sounds nice!

Haha I am too! That's why it's set so low! Especially since it's usually mid 60's outside during the day and only drops in the 40's!

Try doing the skull crushers to the back of the head. This puts your arms more vertical and usually releases some of that tension that's prone to the elbows.
 
Congrats on such excellent pullup progress! I know so many ladies lighter & smaller than yourself that can't do a single chinup - they just don't have the muscle mass & can't understand that being light isn't enough. You have to earn it! Looking good!

Thank you! It has taken forever it seems! I set a goal 6 months before I turned 30 to be able to do 1 and that was just from a bent arm position!

Haha thanks! I hope so! Lil man woke up with a fever of 101 this morning. So we are at the dr's office.
 
Well we are being a family of bums this weekend! Lil man officially has the flu and I didn't win the fight with my cold! I've been in the bed most of the day other than helping my son. Finally ate about 2:45. Luckily, lil man's fever is much better today and I'm not running any.

Thanks everyone! I'm happy with my progress and very excited to see the physique I've been working on as I lean out! I'm ready to be comfortable in a bikini this year! Haha

New workout today! My new program is a push/pull set up allowing me to get the metabolic effects of a full body but able to lift 4 days out of the week. I really liked it. Took a little longer than I was planning but that was from chatty people at the gym. The supersets kept things pretty intense as well! Avg hr was 150...Strength was pretty good too considering how weak I was this weekend! So glad to be better!

Good morning! Today was a push day! My initial thoughts were...oh this won't be bad I won't have to re use the same muscles for a few days. Well, I was underestimating the amount of soreness I would have from yesterday! I think you use your lats for everything! Hahaha

Had a great workout today despite the soreness! Figured out that it was not supposed to be superset like I did yesterday! Doing them individually helped! Finished nice and quick allowing me to squeeze in 2 rounds of tabata before I had to leave this morning! :)
