PES Select mystery flavor reviews

I know this thread has shifted to recipes, but I haven't had a protein powder that made me want another shake right away.

I was worried it would a good bit of hype but it sure didn't disappoint.

Great product guys.

Glad you enjoyed it man. Mine should arrive today, and I already made room in my diet for a couple shakes. :)

If you post it maybe the wise guys here can help by giving you ideas or pointing out something you over looked.

Mine is "out for delivery"..so hopefully I'll get a chance to taste this puppy this evening and provide feedback.

I have posted my donut recipes a few times now

I know what I did wrong, didn't add egg and or pumpkin made it too watery and didn't cook it long enough

Pumpkin will bog it down and not make it rise
Your eating a lot of calories you would be fine without it and sticking to just flour, eggs, sweetner, baking powder

Okay, just tried it and it's good. Call me crazy, but I still prefer the combo of mixing cookies n' cream and milk chocolate. That combo is killer.

However, I will say that the blondie flavor will taste awesome when used as pancake/waffle batter or for cooking in general.

Everyone can benefit from reading there, we had a hell of a lot of great entries.

Forget who did the bundt cake but still need to try it
Yeah I should read it, will go through it tomorrow. Have some free time tomorrow so looks like I will be reading that and studying up to take the nasm hopefully

Got mine yesterday. Took one scoop mixed in around 6oz of water.. and it was phenomenal!! It a really interesting flavor too.. I've never had a blondie cake before but now i cant wait to try one. Taste just like the picture.. you get a strong burst of caramel and then some chocolate and cookie taste. Aroma is sooo good.. reminds me of a salted caramel piece of candy. For the macros it provides this stuff is pretty unreal. Great job PES you seriously are the flavoring KINGS!!

Can see why people guessed at a coffee/mocha variant, the lingering taste is similar to if I had drank an iced capp.

Initial tastes were caramel and a hint of chocolate. I was expecting it to be sweet with a caramel aspect but it was less sweet than CnC to me.

Mixability seemed the same as other flavours. The scent upon opening wasn't as powerful as snickerdoodle (which me and my wife agree makes our kitchen smell like Dunkaroos lol) but was stronger than CnC/Chocolate, to me.

Will be baking with it tomorrow, I don't feel like pancakes will be its sweet spot, Snickerdoodle is king there. I have a feeling that for non-chocolate desserts it will be awesome, like Bob's Blondies, sweet-breads, donuts, cupcakes, and definitely make a good icing/glaze. Lots to try.

This beats Snickerdoodle for me so far, and that is saying a lot.

Great job again PES.

Two awesome reviews.

Thank you for your support. :)

I usually either don't have the time or buying all the ingredients seems like a waste since I don't bake very often.
You can make cakes in 45-60sec by using the microwave.
If You don't have time for that your doing it wrong. ;)

Most of my recipes are very quick, hell 15-20 minutes?
while they are in the oven you can prep food for the next day (what i do)
Cook beef, chicken, rice, potatoes etc.

Plenty of time, not like you need to sit there and stare at your oven.
most of them are real simple and short in ingredients.

Awesome job man. Looks fantastic. Unique as well!

wasn't really anything hard to make lol but didn't have much macros that day and just needed to finish of.

found some of these, was planning on putting blondie sludge spread onto all of them then got an idea to stack them with waffer slices

Nonetheless, I'll give it tops in my book so far.

First off I would to thank my British homie Ben for getting me out some samples of this awesome protein.

So I'm not a flavor snob at all. I go back to a time where everything tasted like crap until Cell Tech came out. LOL Today's supplement consumer is very spoiled when it comes to flavoring. Even the bad stuff taste pretty good. You know the old sex is like pizza analogy "even when its bad its still good". Anyway the PES select profile speaks for itself. One of the best on the market without question. Their flavoring however is king. Moat notably my beloved Snickerdoodle. Blondie is right there with it at the top.

When it comes to protein I tend to stick with the basic ice cream type flavors or Neapolitan treo and variants there of. I prefer vanilla almond milk to water and like to make smoothies so thats the reasoning behind that. Snickerdoodle however taste amazing in water as does Blondie.

Of my three samples I mixed one in 10oz of water, one in 10oz of vanilla almond milk and the in a smoothie with almond milk and ice. All were amazing. You get a strong Carmel/toffee and light chocolate flavor. It is thick and you do get some flavor bits that don't mix completely in a shaker cup but I like that.

For me this will be a purchase soon and IMO is a must try for all. Its a quality product with an amazing taste by a fantastic company. Good work on this PES.

Final verdict : 10/10!
