Threw in some calf raises, lying thumb down Db rear raises and pinwheel curls as well. I'm starting to get real comfortable with sumos ;)

Anyhow, I woke up and weighed 149.8 so I'm basically at weight for this comp. I did take another 40mcg clen yesterday :/ I'm already down three pounds and my strength is still climbing. I dropped the clen though.. And I'm going to have another cheat Sunday night (all you can eat sushi)

I'd like to weigh I 151lb flat 3ish days away from the competition. Then I'll demolish the weight class :)

Yikes! Been there done that! The first dose I took, I miscalculated and took 30mcg. That was way more than enough! It's pretty scary when that kicks in!
 
Don't take any more Clen. It sounds like it will take 8-9 days to clear your body at that dosage. If you get tested you don't want to lose a record for something like that.

The pec is holding up, just a little bit tender. I found if I put my hand above my head and internally rotate my wrist I can get the pads right on the part of my pec (wear it ties into the armpit/shoulder) that's tender. So far, tens + stretch has been working.

Wednesday is comp squat + front squat + some kind of bench.

I'm going to skip pressing this Friday and Saturday, pecs still tender.. Not nearly as bad as it was but its not fully healed. And it's definitely got a mental block on me. Scared to move weight now in fear of tearing my pec :/

Plus side, I woke up @149.7. So, Friday night will be my prescribed cheat meal and I'll add a cheat meal in Sunday night as well. Need to keep my weight steadily around 151-152lb
 
Oh and I've got my 2015 show lined up. Kansas City Championships on June 13th in KC Missouri.

After this PL comp I'll increase my kcals for the remainder of February and half of March then start a 12 week prep.

Should be good. This is a big(er) show, so I won't be pushed into another weight class because there isn't enough competitors this time.

He hasn't done 900 yet, but 885 I believe is knocking on the door! I've been around him at a couple meets, and he's very intense. I can't tell you why, but I definitely didn't get good vibes from him. Not that that says much, but I just remember being like, "That guy seems like a d*ck" lol

I didn't even realize who he was at the time. My first meet Paul Carter was there coaching his gf or client or whatever (some hot blonde squatting low 3's at like a buck-50, if that). He was so massive, in a big olive punisher tee and the baggiest pair of jeans you could imagine. I just remember him intimidating the sh*t out of me. Who knew I'd be following his blog a year later.

You're getting close now - 3wks out right? You'll need to consider tapering off a lil volume anyway as intensity rises, so I wouldn't sweat skipping the pressing.

You're going to hit your openers the deload week of the meet?? Why?

I'd do your opener dead 2wks out at your strength level. Maybe squat 10 days out and bench 6-7 days out. You can get away with closer if you keep it to doubles obv. These are just my opinion.

I guess the big thing I'm worried here is you pulling heavy a week out. That never built any conventional puller's meet PR. It takes more than it gives back.

He's following RTS principles and they all drop volume but maintain intensity. Mike T and Matt Gary's guys have never had issues pulling PRs in meets with this approach. ;)
