Swol and Boone's Quest To Get Hyooooge

Deadlift 1RM this morning... was assuming that I could get at least +10lb and that's exactly what i got. pulled my previous PR (325) with ease so I jumped right to 335 to save energy. Usually I work in 5lb's when maxing but I was feeling it so I just went for the 10lb jump. Tried 340lb twice but couldn't get it even close. Rest of the workout was good but I can feel my mind was losing steam by the end. Tomorrow will be an off day for recovery.

Have about 5 days or so left of alphamax/ARA/ABE and then I'm gonna take a big supp break while I move and get setup in atlanta. Once I'm there i'll prob also change up my pragram as workouts with my new job wont be as consistent due to the travel so I think I'm going to do a push/pull/legs split and just rotate them as I get the chance to lift. if its 2 on 1 off, 1on 1 off, 4 on 1 off, etc I'll just do what I can and take rest days as they come or as needed if that happens. gonna miss the scheduled plan but it is what it is. Most likely will stick to the style I've been using with 1-2 strength/compound exercises to start followed by a few accessory lifts. Instead of power and hypertrophy days I think I'll just work the gamut each session something like 2 compounds, 2-3 acces x6-8reps, 2-3 access x10-12reps

I'm debating giving Alphamax a run with magnitropin, think they'd be synergistic boone?
I def think they'd work well together. All diff ingredients would basically cover all your bases. Mag would get your nutrient partitioning, endurance, recovery and AMax would keep you dry and improve sleep. Basically a perfect recovery stack

9 plates off buffet Chinese food is way more then 2500 cals. The fat alone is prob that high ha. Then ice cream and deserts on top of that. No way I was under. Plus I eded up having a smoothie, cereal, oats, and cottage cheese anyways for my night meal.

MPS is not on your side with 2 meals lol

so you had 1 meal, bcaa, and 1 shake of 120 kcals strong MPS
that's not what "throughout the day" means...
8am- 5g leucine
11am 10g bcaas pre workout
12pm 10g bcaas intra
2pm massive meal
8pm pm meal (you apparently missed where I said I actually ate cereal, smoothie, cottage cheese, etc)
Bed at 11

That'd be spiking mps all through the day

Well 3g iirc is shown to maximize MPs. And I have it just before a normal protein meal so I don't need a full 5g dose
Some studies show you need a lot more. Around 15g bolus dose. I use nutrabio and use that twice a day on workout days.

If you want something for a cheat meal: 4-10 grams isoleucine + 10-20mg biotin 10-15 min precheat. Then with the first bite, spoonful psyllium husk, 7-15 grams leucine and 2-3 grams tryptophan.

The iso and biotin make me hypo within 10 minutes and the leucine + tryp make sure the meal is as muscle friendly as possible.

I'm bored at the office. FCK Mondays hard.

I meant that the AS caps are 5g each... you'd be at 15g each dose like that ha.

That's crazy that it makes you hypo. I never heard biotin being used like this

The isoleucine is the main culprit for the BG drop. I want to rub this on a glucometer to solidify this.

I use biotin pre-LISS, but it never makes me hypo. 15mg gets me nice and warm after 10-15 minutes on the treadmill.

interesting. I've only ever known it as a hair/skin/nail supplement.

I'll have to give the iso a try sometime. Sounds like a beast ha

I am king retard today... I've been taking 1 at a time thinking it was 5g because they are pretty big haha. That explains why my bottle is lasting so long...

brb going to shame myself further.

Bumped cals to 2900 today because I haven't been gaining much if any weight which is crazy considering the holidays. Might bump again next week too just because it's my last week of consistent eating and training for a while. Would like to be over 3k before cutting for sure and I will prob diet down a bit for my friends beach wedding in late April.

hate to buy your supplements drinking that much BCAA's a day!

na it's just every once in awhile when I have a day like that with one giant meal. Usually it's none on a normal day since I'm eating throughout or pre and intra on weekends when I train fasted am/early afternoon.

Just curious why you restrict yourself to nothing but a 120 calories shake on a cheat meal? Seems to defeat the point of a cheat and seems more like a restrict/overload kind of scenario.

I didn't... Ate full normal meal that evening...

Decided to hit the gym for light legs... What a nightmare this day has turned into. Left the gym nice and smoked, went to fill up my tires with air and one of my valve stems snapped off, flattening my tire almost instantly. So now I'm sweaty, in shorts and a t shirt, and stuck changing a tire in 20deg. Next up, my spare has this insanely complex system that holds it in place and lowers it down and blah blah blah. 45min later and after discovering that I needed pliers and other shiit they don't tell you I finally get the spare on. Go right down the road to the tire shop and they tell me it's the special sensor valve and it's $100. What a rip off. Knees skinned, frozen, beat legs, and no food. Gonna kill someone in a min here ha.

Nice rows man.! Get them accounts!!

Got one already 1 pretty decent day considering the weather
I swore I want going to shovel snow this year before I left... Mother Nature is a tramp. Week and a half left and it's dumping.

Stocked up on gut health today. Most excited I've been for a supplement order in awhile ha. 6 bottles for $100. Over a years supply woo

Hit some light push exercises today after trying out 1rm for OHP. Shoulders and elbows have gotten very achy the last three days tho so I didn't end up going all the way up.

Have been having some odd cramping and soreness in my forearms, one hand, and calves too. Thinking maybe the Ara as I'm nearing the end of my run? Not sure what else it could be as water intake and everything else has been the same.

Tendons in my left hand are kinda sore and I had the nastiest calf cramps at the gym. Jumped up to grab the pull-up bar and both cramped. I was literally ready to scream but too terrified to drop down as they were still cramped. Just had to hang there for a min and watch the nasty balled up muscles in the mirror. Had a weird cramp in my forearm yesterday too. Any thoughts?

Sodium and Potassium imbalance = Cramps are you getting adequate potassium?
could be. I'll have to figure it out. Thanks

Def not dehydrated tho as I'm actually drinking more water now that I'm back in my work schedule and just sit at my desk drinking all day.

Eat more white potatoes, will help you greatly. I don't think you eat banana's often but they are another cheap source.

I actually love bananas but you're right I rarely eat them anymore. Have been eating white rice the last couple days since I'm trying to eat up whatever food is left in my house before I move next weekend. Some odd meals are gonna happen next week when all the normal food runs out ha.

Oreos, marshmallows and venison all day.

Yeah candies, most grains, and rice are high carb, low potassium

= extra fluid held and less potassium to keep it in cells

Veggies help, and potatoes like Bob suggested. Zucchini is my fave as it is more calorie friendly, easily digested, and mote potassium than bananas

Oh its bulk time, and I have 50 days of X-factor ready to roll

Soon as I get it I will open it up and go

ARA + Magnatropin + new Athletix goodie

Thanks brothers
