Well then. Those are better. Will try out a recipe when I get my sample

Everybody has their eyes opened the first time they try a Bob recipe, makes bodybuilders into bakers

BBartsche even got some of my home made caramel corn

Let me ask him how that was :)

That homemade caramel Corn is out of this world. One of the best things I have ever had

Snickerdoodle is unreal for baking cookies and pancakes. Muffins are pretty good too. But snickerdoodle is a prime cookie flavor IMO. Pancakes are good too, I would put the Snickerdoodle pancakes right behind Cor Whey Cinnamon Swirl, for pancakes anyways.

I agree with SD being the best for cooking. Even simple proats as well.

Forgot about proats, even though I've been eating more oats lately. The only thing I hate about proats is the powder sticks to the glass bowl if there is not enough water, but that is the case with any blend due to the casein.

On a side note, I've been making my oatmeal on the stove top instead of the microwave, oatmeal is 100x better when made on the stove!

100% agree. Much thicker and more filling I've noticed as well. Just a better overall taste.

So I got home a little whille a go and I had a package from PES in my mailbox. I was so giddy, I ran inside and opened the bag and saw I had 3 samples to try. WEll I immediately, made a bowl of oatmeal and dumped the PES flavor into that bowl. OMG it was the most delicious thing I have ever had. It had a mocha/Coffe flavor, that was so delicious, it made my house smell. My dad came in from the garage and asked me what I cooked, because it smelled so good. It had taht delicious coffee/mocha/taste, and it had a little crumble component to it, that was also very good and delicious. If I ahd to guess what flavor it was mocha blondie. Thats what it reminded me of. Thanks again PES, will use it in a shake later, and pancakes tomorrow morning

Thanks for the write up! Glad your dad took notice as well haha.

Absolutely no coffee, so you'll have to keep guessing. :D

Awesome. Glad you liked it so much!

The question we all want to know...

Even tastier than snickerdoodle?

Sucks I have to cut more work hours drastically, can only fit in one day a week starting Monday. I will still be prepared for the Insider though. It is a priority to get the new flavor!

Mystery Flavor Review

First impression: I decided to open the sample bag and "play" a bit to really get an idea of what I was dealing with here. Upon opening the bag, I was surprised to find that the scent of the new flavor was rather light... When compared to say SD or CNC, this was a very light scent. Upon further sniffing, I can see how others might have found a slight coffee smell but I found it to be more of a toffee type smell, with a slight chocolate/caramel note. I did dig around a bit to find some of the "crunchies" that have been noted in other reviews and managed to dust one off to discover a tiny, white little speck that resembled a white cookie crumb. My first thought was that this might be some type of marshmallow but upon tasting it this was dismissed and I believe it to be some type of cookie or biscotti type crumb.

Next up, I mixed it up in 10oz of water. As soon as the water hit it, the smell was instantly stronger. Much more of a caramel/toffee scent then dry. With just a few shakes, it mixed without any issues. No sticking to the sides or bottom of the shaker (sometimes SD tends to stick a bit) at all and no floaters. There was a few signs of the crumbs that settled to the bottom as I let it sit for a minute just to see.

I took a few sips before using it to make my proats. The flavor is very unique. It has an interesting combination of caramel/chocolate/toffee that reminds you of a coffee shop that makes cookies and coffee. The flavors mix in your mouth and stimulate your nose as well and I can easily see how people picked up notes of a coffee flavor. I would best describe the smell/taste combination as that of a homemade biscotti cookie dipped in a caramel/toffee latte. Its a very "warm" or "comforting" flavor that will make you think of cold nights and warm, fragrant ,hot cocoa type drinks (with toffee or caramel flavoring ;) ) The little crunchies are hardly noticeable unless you swish it around in your mouth an really look for them but they do add in interesting "surprise" now and again with their added texture.

I took the rest of the shake and mixed it into 1 cup of oats. A few min in the microwave and the smell was magnified ten fold. Smell was warm and sweet, with hints of toffee, caramel, chocolate, and vanilla that all mixed together to create something unique. It made my whole kitchen smell like I had spent the day baking cookies, brewing coffee, warming hot cocoa and having a relaxing night in front of the fire (without the smokey smell ha). 1 scoop (minus the few sips I drank) was more then enough to flavor the oats. It was not overly sweet, but rather a nice balanced flavor that would be perfect for baking.

I would rank this as my new favorite flavor as it has all of the positives of SD and CNC as far as straight flavor, but has an even more intricate, thought provoking, and exciting flavor. I could see this being a great addition to a mix with SD or CNC for an amazing combo.

My guess for flavor: Caramel Toffee Crunch

Thank you to the guys at PES, especially bdcc for the chance to try this out. Its definitely another winner.

I also was sent three samples. I will post a full review when completed but the first sample was taken with 10oz of vanilla almond milk (how I usually take my protein ) and oh my. Definitely some toffee and light chocolate.

Thanks for the review Boone!! Glad you enjoyed it and I'll go out on a limb saying you'll be keeping an eye out for the insider :).

I just had the new flavor in in sludge form and I am still standing by my initial guess but tweeting it a bit-- Carmel cookie ice cream sandwich. The cookie pieces are more pronounced without mixing it in the full 6 oz of liquid and the taste is just as good, if not better, by making it a pudding or sludge as opposed to the traditional shake. I look forward to trying this as a baked good tomorrow ;)

You have refined tastebuds my friend.

Your flavour description nails it perfectly. :)

:)

If he is close with that guess I am happy

Been requesting a toffee or butterscotch variant in every thread taking guesses at the new flavour

Caramel will be a welcomed addition to my protein flavours, I tried the Whey HD variant but it was pretty terrible lol

you'll love it. The caramel/toffee flavor is totally unique to anything I've ever had in a protein. Seems like they listened to your hints ;)

Well I an a big part of the product market demographic ;)

Make sure you're signed up for the insider and keep that email refreshed!

I definitely am. Insider isn't as sweet for Canadians bc the shipping is killer, but I can't wait any longer. This flavour seems like it is going to annihilate my taste buds.

I just suggest ordering in huge lots when the insiders drop so you don't have to worry about shipping costs multiple times.

...The only downside is we have multiple new products for 2015 which may find themselves on an insider from time to time. :D

Yup Blondie sounds amazing.

And since it's not Salted Caramel Frappé, they can still do that for Alphamine lol.

Jk i wish though
