Just me he commenting on this but there is no way in hell if I just did a 4 year stint I would entertain a testosterone run. Too many things can go wrong like a pissed of girlfriend ratting you out or any other silliness. You look pretty jacked already I would stick with the orals and maybe entertain pinning trest or DTA which are not illegal to have in your possession. Hope I am not over stepping here just my $.02
It could but I think that
HardEarned has a valid point and you are probably seeing some effects of better nutrition and increased glycogen/water storage right now and the gains will slow but you could still possibly get another 10 depending on how big you were before. Also let us all remember this is a rebound effect from you being sick and losing a lot of weight so your 10 lbs can probably start from about here whic was closer to your weight before you got sick if I remember correctly.
@Heardearned I agree and disagree... you probably do know more than me about nutrition being that you are a nutrition major, and I am just getting a sports nutrition coaching certification. I totally agree on the the fact that all athletes can use and store quite a bit of glycogen. However someone who is extremely insulin sensitive in both fat cells and the muscle can add a lot of fat quickly when trying to eat as anabolically as possible. Someone like this has to time most carbs either around the training when Glut4 activation is at its maximum, or in the evening when insulin sensitivity is down after keeping carbs lower through out the day. That or eat less carbs and increase other macros to get the higher calories. I am not saying a low carb diet but lower than someone who is not dealing with the same genetic make up.
I am sure that is probably kind of what you meant. I am more or less stating this for the people reading this that may not know what the differences are. Someone who's fat cells are less insulin sensitive can easily spread 300 grams of carbs across the day without having negative effects at all but someone less carb tolerant will gain fat in that scenario if there is a surplus. However that same individual could avoid carbs for breakfast have a little bit in the next few meals workout after work and smash 200-300 grams of carbs post workout still getting 300g and get leaner and still gain mass. For someone carb sensitive adding carbs over and over through out the day tells the body to keep storing through out the day not just in the muscle tissue but in fat and muscle. So the application is different even when the macros are the same. I can not eat more than 200g of carbs a day spread out or I will gain fat. However 200-300 peri workout or in the evening and I am solid. Many carb intolerant people I deal with are the same way. However people who are not carb intolerant I tend to spread things out for a lot more.
Your thoughts on this? I am pretty sure that @kilakali wont mind an advanced nutrition conversation in his log.
