DMA Does DMZ Demigod Style (unsponsored)

Just thought I would share that this is happening tonight!!! I look pretty good in yoga pants LOL!!!
Haha, your rocking the outfit!

Great work man! I know what you mean about the seriousness, I've been that way too! Also things touching me irritate more, kids, dogs, cats, etc. 3100 cals is what I'm bulking on and find it hard to eat clean at those cals, just so much food, lol.

god damn man, I wish. I was bulking on 4500 when I ran my cycle. thats what happens when you eat over maintenance for like 3 years straight though.

A recomp didn't you come off a cut? Haven't you already gained some weight?

Wow so you must be ripped as hell right now you were lean when you started. How many % bodyfat would you say you have lost?

1%-2%. There's no denying I'm looking good (that sounds weird saying!!), and getting stronger. So it's all good. But this cycle is barely kicking off week 3, so it has lots of time to take off. I'm very pleased.

Upped to 60 mg on Saturday. No change in sides as of yet. Was already experiencing some BP spikes, but as long as they don't feel any worse then I'll be ok. I feel the sleeplessness is starting to subside as well. Didn't need Benadryl to crash out hard the last couple nights since upping the dose!!. Stoked to get in the gym today, can't come soon enough. Working up to find my 1RM on bench.

Subbed, I just got in all my stuff for the same cycle. Going to start at the end of December, will be my first time using Dermacrine. Sounds like you are getting some pretty good gains, can't wait to see those week 6 results!

Thanks brother, good to have you. Definitely enjoying the ride.

Just got my Liv. 52 in the mail today to add to the cycle. It is the new formula, so 2 caps per day for a little added liver support.

Worked up to my 1RM on bench today. Right about where I thought I would be, and not down really much since I went to the GVT a couple months ago. But with the extended rest time between sets and the slower pace, it took up quite a bit of my usual hour. So after that I had to fly through the rest of my planned routine.

Bench Press:
135 x 10
185 x 5
205 x 4
225 x 3
245 x 2
265 x 1
275 x 1
280 failed
(275 was relatively easy, so maybe i should have rested a bit longer before 280. Or I was truly spent. I'm ok with 275 for now.)

HS Wide Press:
55 on each side x 20 x 3 sets
Super Set
Incline DB Flys:
35's x 10 x 3 sets (open stretch w/ hard squeeze)

Seated DB Front Raises:
20's x 12 x 3 sets
Super Set
Seated DB Lateral Raises:
20's x 8 drop to 10's x failure x 3 sets

Pec Deck both directions Super Set (chest fly and rev. fly):
3 sets x 20

Medicine Ball Push Ups / OH DB Tricep Ext Super Set x 3 sets

Tricep Push Downs:
170 x 8 drop to 100 x failure x 4 sets

Ab Roller x 3 sets

So not terribly disappointed with my 1 RM. And now I can set a goal to hit for the near future. I will check my max every couple weeks. I think 305 is attainable in the next 4-6 weeks. I will continue to lift heavier on regular chest days and make it happen.

Good work man! Now you know what to work for! Good work!

Your video inspired me. Seriously. That feeling when you threw it up, that moment of conquering the bar. You achieved your goal and you could see the achievement on your face and the "YEAH" you let out afterward. So I have set myself a goal to hit as well.

that's a healthy bench press there. And yeah I think you should have waited an extra minute or two before going for the 280. I think you would have had it if 175 came up fairly easy. Give it a five minute rest.

I had a random dude at the gym spotting me and I guess I didn't want to keep him from his workout too long. Probably only 1 minute between those last 2 sets.

OH NO! 1 minute you only gain back a little strength! I think you might have nailed 295 if you rested like 4 or 5 minutes!! resting only 1 or 2 minutes is great for building strength but not so good for testing out your max!

It's hard to break the usual quick rest periods. Probably was around 3 minutes every set prior to the last one, and they all seemed like an eternity!! Next time I won't plan so much accessory work or will be prepared to be in the gym a little longer to get it all done. I think you're right though. Couple more minutes, I had that sh1t!!

yeah there is a big difference between 3 minutes and 5 minutes for ME when it comes to testing my max.

Wow, thanks man! Here's what I do, when I want to test my max. I do a couple warm up sets, usually just the bar for the first, then 135 for the second to get my shoulders used to the range of motion. Then I do a max attempt, this is when I'm strongest. After that I just drop the weight a little and do reps to failure, then drop s little more and go to failure, and so on back down to 135 and crank out about 25 reps. After the 2 warm ups every set is to failure.

Which Benydrl do you take, I have Benydrl Allergy Relief & Benydrl One a day

I actually buy it as a sleep aid. Equate brand. It's the same ingredient as the allergy medicine, Diphenhydramine HCl. But it's cheaper as a sleep aid. Literally the same stuff. On the allergy rack it's like $5 for 24 pills, turn around to the sleep aids it's like $4.50 for 100 pills!!! Marketing at it's finest.

Ahhhh okay, the Benydrl Allergy relief is 24 tablets, with the capsule containing Acrivastine 8mg. Will that do the job?

what do you use the Benadryl for? prolactin or progesterone issues?

Sleep aid
I'm a light sleeper and I wake up at 3 AM for work so I need to insure I get good sleep. All PH's I've taken and even Ostarine have given me trouble sleeping. Whether it be from elevated BP or just the body and metabolism working at night.

Damn.. How is your insulin sensitivity?
On the less desired side of the spectrum. Stopped eating high carb meals in the morning and keeping them closer to my workout and I haven't been experiencing the light-headed faint feeling I was. High fat and protein in the AM. And I have always easily stores fat in my lower Abs and love handles no matter what. They're finally starting to disappear though!!

Ha yes I know that pain.. I think most people have the trouble with the love handles/lower abdominal areas, pretty sure lyle mcdonald wrote a book on it, stubborn fat protocol or something. They are the first thing you get and the last to go..

I have been doing the same thing, low carb till before my workout and then the bulk of my carbs and calories after and this is leanest I have ever been and looking to lean out more.

Sounds good. I definitely abused my bodys ability to deal with carbs by carb loading for over a year straight. The results = I got big, but now since I cant see my abs, and I am probably a little insulin resistant, I go easy on the carbs unless its around workout time.

You don't want to become insulin resistant!

So 4 days at 60mg and feeling good. Did have a slight headache for about 15 minutes this afternoon. So far that is the only hint of anything changing sides-wise. Strength-wise, feeling great. Got a little distracted by somebody mid-workout that slowed me down a bit and cut into my time, but what can you do? Crank the rest out with ferocity, that's what!!

First time I've done Lat Pull-Downs in quite a while. I have been doing pretty much only Pull Ups for lats for a long time. But crushed a weight that I was never able to before...easily. Thanks to weighted pull ups I'm sure. Also went for my 1RM Deadlift. Don't think I've ever pulled like this before. When I did 365 x 4 last week, the 4th rep was a hard pull, but not like today. When it's your max, the weight wants to fall back to the floor and you have to find that power to bring it up and lock it out. I liked it. Took about 4 seconds to get it locked out!!!

Lat Pull Downs:
100 x 12
170 x 8
190 x 6 PR
190 x 6
190 x 6

Weighted Underhand Chin Ups:
BW +50lbs. x 5, 5, 6 (got a rest while somebody started chatting me up, so added a rep)

Unsupported T-Bar Rows w/ Fat Gripz:
90 x 12, 10, 10
Super Set
Seated Calf Raises x 3 sets

Deadlifts:
135 x 8
225 x 5
275 x 4
315 x 3
365 x 1
385 x 1 PR
225 x 5

Seated BB Curls w/ Fat Gripz:
75 x 8
75 x 6
85 x 6 drop to 75 x 4
85 x 6 drop to 75 x 3
Super Set
Standing Concentration Curls:
30 x 8, 6, 6, 5

Lying Hamstring Curls x 3 sets slow negatives with light weight

Changing my workout starting next Monday. Going to 1 major muscle group per workout instead of trying to get 2 groups in 1 hour. 3 days on, 1 off. So each group will get hit hard every 5th day. I want to do more exercises for Chest on Chest day, more Back exercises on Back day, etc.

Will be:
Shoulders / Abs
Back / Biceps
Chest / Triceps / Abs
Legs / Deadlifts

I like the sound of your new workout plan! Go big! Lots of sets and angles

Will be:
Shoulders / Abs
Back / Biceps
Chest / Triceps / Abs
Legs / Deadlifts

muscle groups perfectly spaced!!!! deadlifts hit traps a little bit but its far enough away from shoulders and back. Shoulders is spaced from chest, and your deadlifts is on your leg day so your lower back wont be sore for your leg day for squats. A VERY NICE SCHEME!

Sorry to hijack, will this suffice to help me sleep? 2 caps a night which is 50mg?

Helps me. I read a bit of your G8 log and see how sleep is an issue for you. But Benadryl works great and don't wake up groggy. Take about 45 minutes before bed and you'll feel them kick in. Let me know how it goes.

Nice workout and hitting a PR
New layout looks good!
