Whoop whoop! Go kill it!!!

Guy I work with, he's at least your age or older, Kleen - he worked at Walmart at end of highschool & all through college. When he got out of school, the walmart stock they'd given him had risen so much in value so fast he was able to sell it off to buy a brand new mustang!

The kicker: his dad almost beat his brow down telling him to save it save it save it, but he had to have that car: turns out today if he'd kept all the shares it would be worth like 1.3 million lmao

Yah good news there Chris. I will share my experiences with you and hopefully be able to help with some things like marketing. Right now it's me that needs the help in that department. I hope you and I will be able to work together on a lot of things so I am tickled pink that you are doing this.

Left on floor dead in pool of sweat and vomit!

Definitely, I will be looking into what needs to be done for good marketing as well. I am sure we will be able to help one another along the way.

This is what I need help with whenever I get my cert. The whole business thing is so complicated and alien to me, LOL.

Good stuff going on in here! Glad you are pursuing your cert. I think about doing that myself. I'm excited cause I will be doing the strength and conditioning for my daughters travel softball team. Enjoy helping other out.

No doubt but there are a lot of different programs you can follow to increase your market visibility. Really just depends on what you plan to do with it.

That sounds awesome!

I am finding myself re-evaluating this new workout right now. Not that I think it wont be effective just contemplating if I actually want to lift 6 days a week right now considering I am taking on other things that will take up my time. I may very well move some of this around and see if I can do it with a little less frequency. Still trying to figure out exactly what I want to do. I may just continue it as written but right now being back in and enjoying it is the main focus. I have never really been one to want to lift 6 days a week. Well at least not since I became a family man.

Either way had some great workouts this weekend too and will be heading into the gym later tonight or first thing in the morning. Still waiting on my stuff from NASM to show up, very excited about that.

Good luck with NASM cert - I'd hire you as a trainer!

I'm officially 1 year in a NASM CPT and also got my performance enhancement specialist cert. Its so worth it,actually learn a lot about your own workouts and body its cool. Exams no joke but you're a knowledgeable guy you'll pass with ease.

I actually just broke my backpack that comes with it :(:(

6 days a week is definitely very hard to balance with a family much less working and taking on the certifications too!

Yeah I find 4 days a week works well with family and work. And if I have time I'll throw in some conditioning workouts on the other days

Awesome my son just told me that my stuff came in today! I am excited to get started!

Absolutely, it doesn't make sense for me right now. Especially with my current goals and the fact my biceps is still recovering.
Yeah I find 4 days a week works well with family and work. And if I have time I'll throw in some conditioning workouts on the other days

Agreed 100% I found a long time ago that I can build a whole heck of a lot of muscle in 3-4 days a week. I would probably do the 6 days if I were planning on a competition some time but right now I am not.

So here is what I decided to do, I really enjoy the program and it already has all the periodizatoin built into it. So my plan is to do 4 workouts per week. That will set it up on a nice rolling rotation of each week a different part of the split will get worked twice. It will also expand the program quite a bit so I wont have to change it up for a while.

Sounds like a great plan!! Glad your stuff came today!! Exciting!! :)

Yeah it is a really nice book as it should be for what all of it costs. Even sent a nice little NASM Backpack for it. I started looking at all the study plans and everything trying to see how much I will need to spend on this. It was an NASM cert that I had back when I was training before so I have already been exposed to a lot of it. Hoping I can take the test in the next 2 months.

Okay last night I took all of my supps when I got home then went into the gym to hit Chest/Anterior delts and biceps. Workout was pretty intense.

I messed up and looked at the set counts for a different lift and ended up doing 4 extra sets on bench. SO when I got to the triple set at the end I simply removed the push ups from the the set and did a triple set with SUpine Incline Front raises, Incline DB Flyes and Incline DB Curls

Bench Shoulder Width grip 10 reps 5 sets
Bench Wide Grip 4 inches outside of shoulder - 10x6 sets

Triple Set x4
Incline DB Curls
Incline DB Flies
Incline supine front raises. for lower end resistance

Standing DB Front raises for upper end resistance. x3

I am already feeling sore. I increased my weights over last week. I had a little moment of feeling the biceps but it was just the stretching of some scar tissue. My shoulder joint gave me a little trouble but that is more the stabilizer muscles were just totally worn out by all the pressing.

I am noticing vascularity even though I am staying pretty depleted as it goes right now. I decided to slow down the weight loss plan here and go a little more for recomp. I may cut up later but right now I would like to gain some of that muscle back. I still look good in a tank top so I am okay on the vanity side of it for right now. Also I am surprised that I am not already in pain from the workout last night as it crushed my pecs completely!

I can't find a definitive answer, so if you did could you link me? How log can you stay on MGF?

You do not have to cycle off of MGF because it is not in the system long enough to start attaching to the organs and intestines which is why you have to cycle Peg MGF or IGF-1 Lr3. I read that in a few different places and i am pretty sure one of them was on DatBTru's site. Unfortunately I do not have a link to it.

Yeah Bigred it was pretty intense.

I imagine the soreness is coming, I find I am always sore when I am progressive. I'm an old fugger though so that might make a difference.

No. Not old age at all. Even at a few months shy of 30 true progression leaves me quite sore even on TRT/cycle. Soreness just means you did a good job overloading.

That is gratifying :) I like the thought of you young fugs feeling this kind of pain :) actually most of the time I like it anyway. It's hard to tell what is brought on by age sometimes. Most things happen so gradually you don't really notice and by the time you notice you don't really care anymore. Sure I have some ****ty days but I have way more good ones than I ever would have had if I wasn't this crazy old fug you see before you.

Oh the soreness came last night and when I did my lying triceps extensions and used my pecs to move it I felt it then when I stretched after my chest was like WHOAH!!!! However my recovery is already improving from the DERMASTR3NGTH, & EP1C.

Yeah age doesn't really have much to do with recovery and lactic acid clearance. You want to know what does? Put about 2-3 cups of greens in your shake after your workout and alkalize all the acid in the muscle so it can recover faster.

BOOM! KNOWLEDGE BOMB!!!!!!

One thing is you are a tough old bastard. We come from a time of "Suck it up Buttercup!" or "Rub some dirt on it boy, you'll be alright." So we learned how to deal with it. Unfortunately only a few kids have their mettle tested any more.

If you have questions regarding the age related issues you can probably limit those to joint and tendon issues now and not so much muscular pains.

Alright so last night I took all my goodies and washed them down with some CONQU3R! Went to the gym for Back / Rear Delts / Triceps

Tempo was 4-0-1-2 on the rows and then 4-0-1-0 on the other movements.

Seated Cable Rows Shoulder width grip to belly button - 10 reps x5 sets failed on last one and increased weight from last workout.
Bent Over Barbell Rows with outward intention - x14, 10, 7, 7, 10, 13
Neutral Grip Assisted Dips 10 reps x3 sets + NOS (NOS is a triple drop set)
45 Degree Reverse Grip Lat Pull Downs 10 reps x 4
Rear Delt Flyes 10 reps x3 sets
Single Arm Triceps Extension elbow behind body 2 second squeeze at peak contraction. 10 reps times 4 sets.
Barbell Lying Triceps Extensions 10 reps x4 sets

So 26 sets in less than 45 minutes, guess who was sweating and gasping for air....

My body is already starting to respond to the lifts and the supplements. I have been more vascular lately and I look a little bit tighter in the chest and shoulders. Recovery is definitely improving as I should be extremely sore and from how I felt yesterday I should still be sore in my pecs but they are damn near recovered now. I have to flex them very tight to feel the fact they have any soreness to them at all. I am contemplating bumping my DERMASTR3NGTH to 200 a day.

Good stuff going on in here!! Liking all I am hearing about DermaSTRENGTH!

Yah I remember that instead of concussion it was getting your bell rung. We weren't too nuts though you had to know your own name if you wanted to continue to play. I actually did pop my shoulder back into the socket and played the second half.. made 8 tackles too. They saw me take the contact and started running at me. Stupid fuggers just pissed me off!! We would have saved ourselves a lot of problems if we were smarter though. Remember that movie "The Program" that wasn't very far from the truth. I used to chirp like that across the line of scrimmage and we were fuggin animals. "If your hurt you can still play, if your injured you can't".

Killing it Kleen!! Love that you're having great results already!!

I may or may not have had a few concussions in my time. Hell we didn't want to let anyone know we were not all there, or couldn't see straight they would make us come out of the game. My second to last jump in Jump school I got caught in a gust of wind just before I landed it jerked me horizontal and dropped me flat on my back and shoulders and head. I was out for a second and the chute was dragging me for about 20-30 yards while I struggled to pop the release. WHen I got up I was dizzy gathered up my stuff and started running the wrong way to get back to the bus. One of my buddies saw what happened and ran up to me and guided me back to the bus. I was lost man couldn't focus my eyes, I could hear my pulse in my ears like a freight train. He kept me jogging on the right track and we buddy teamed it back to the bus. Well I had one last jump and the weather had not been great so we had to jump again immediately in order to get our jumps in time to qualify for graduation. So we bused back to the strip got back on a C-130 and went one more time. I still couldn't see straight when i jumped the second time but I was not repeating jump school over being a vag!

Killing it Kleen!! Love that you're having great results already!!
Thanks a bunch! I am in a really good mood this morning. The Queens last day at her job is today and she starts a new one on Monday. Her job has been a HUGE factor in her stress and hence her health issues.

Have leg day on tap next it should be a beast!!!!

Yes me too, she is a little stressed from leaving some of the people were like family. So this weekend has been rough but her rough day now is 100 times better than her rough days a little while back.

No doubt, not sure what I will do in IT I am sure I will keep my job where I am as long as possible. I love it there. As far as being in a comfortable work environment goes it is pretty good. I have a great boss and everything so unless something great is on the horizon and I am in a place to make a move I will be doing both for a while. However the stress of not finding another job after is already lessening with my new plans.

So my leg workout yesterday was brutal. I have never had my ass kicked by such low weights in my life. I have really been focusing on the contraction of the muscle and very specific ranges areas of the range of motion for queues and initiating the movement buy tightening the prime mover first. The level of contraction I am able to get right now is unreal. I am sure as I get more and more used to it my weights will climb but right now I am fine with being this wrecked with extremely light weights.

Tempo 4-0-1-0 unless mentioned otherwise

Leg Extensions 3 sets of 7 tempo was a brutal 4-0-1-(5-7) so there was a 5-7 seconds squeeze at the top of every rep!!!!! BRUTAL!!!!
One leg leg press - feet high 3 sets of 21 with downward intentions.
Barbell Back Squats 21, 14, 10, 21 Oh man using the intentions and focus on tension this destroyed me I was wobbling and I only used the bar as weight on the last set.
Leg Press Feet Low on platform 315x10 x 3 sets + NOS (triple drops set) I literally could barely walk at this point. I had to just tell myself 2 more exercises push through it and be done...
Seated Leg Curls 90 degrees back not on pad - 3 sets of 21 - fugging brutal!
Lying Leg Curls Body Up hips into pad - 3 sets of 7 tempo was different here... 4-0-1(2)-0 which means I stopped at 30 degrees and did a 2 second isometric squeeze then finished the rep one every rep.

I could barely walk or drive home. All night my knees kept buckling and today my legs and glutes are already pretty darn sore not even 24 hours yet. :) I have to say what I am learning about activating the muscle and creating tension while lifting on the MI40 X2 is mind muscle connection on a completely different level than I have ever experienced. Once I have this down I may never have to worry about my joints being the issue again unless my arthritis gets bad.

That tempo for leg extensions would have been brutal indeed. Never really tried high rep squats - I am sure a killer.

Yep. Pretty much old school. If you can't "feel" the muscle then you can't very well work it. 40-50% of your normally working reps with pauses at 30/60/90% of the movement can be absolutely brutal. Not exactly what Kleen is doing but similar in effect. I do this occasionally on bench, curls, and leg press. Never tried it on any other movements.

Killing it in here as usual brother! Glad things are working out for you and wife. Blessings to your family.

Oh yeah brutal especially doing this way.
That looked fun
Oh boy let me tell you... I am so sore!!!! My DOMS have DOMS!

Yes very similar in effect, and the time under tension forget about it.

Thanks Kenpo giving it hell now that I am feeling more motivated.

Okay so my legs are so sore it is ridiculous. When I woke up yesterday I rolled over and just went to get up. Well my legs didn't feel like getting up apparently so I ended up on the floor laughing at the fact my legs just didn't contract when I went to step. They felt the soreness and just relaxed on their own, gave me no choice about it. So I laid there laughing with my wife laughing at me for about 15-30 seconds then got myself to my feet. Today is WORSE!!! Something with the intentions and creating tension in the muscle really seemed to click that workout and boom everything was 3 times harder than normal.

Okay on to todays workout this morning was

Biceps/Chest/ Front and medial delts

Barbell Preacher Curls tempo was 4-0-5-0 so a 5 second maximum squeeze at peak contraction. 3 sets of 7 these were pretty hard that 5 second squeeze and then coming from hyperextension at the bottom just made it brutal.
Incline DB Curls 3 sets of 7 tempo = 4-0-1-0 with a NOS-X set on the last set. OMFG!!! These NOS-X sets are just brutal. I was dripping sweat by the time it was done. A NOS-X set is a drop set with a static stretch where you flex the triepcs while holding the dumbell for 20-30 seconds then drop the weight do more reps to failure then stretch it again, and repeat once more, after the final stretch / hold you do 1 more rep to complete.
Two Arm High Cable Curls 4 sets of 15 tempo 4-0-1-0 man the pump was crazy after these.
Incline DB Press 4 sets of 12 tempo 4-0-1-0 first time in a long time my chest has burned during a pressing movement.
Life Fitness Seated Chest press - 4 sets of 12 tempo was a crazy 7-1-1-1 - Lets just say that the weight dropped very quickly on these!!! Chest was burnt out by last set, hell by the 3rd set it was about gone.

Super Set
Prone 60 degrees Incline DB lateral Raises 3 sets of 12 tempo 4-0-1-0
- these really hit the target very well. Seemed to lock me into the perfect position to activate the medial and rear delts.
Seated DB Front Raises 3 sets of 12 tempo 2-1-1-1 - front delts were completely gone the design of this program makes so much since once I start performing the work. The progression of movements are very well thought out.

So impressions of the workout is that it handed it to me pretty good. I really enjoyed it and the workouts don't take too long. So far I am pleased with how my biceps are doing with this and will probably increase frequency as I feel more comfortable.

Right now I am enjoying the 20mgs Osta, 300 EP1C and 100 of DermaStrength per day. I have an upcoming appointment for bloodwork so I may drop the OSTA temporarily. Just so everything is on the up and up for them don't want them lowering my doses. I have not weighed myself as of yet but I am definitely starting to thicken back up in the chest and shoulder area.

I'm sure it is really hard to leave the people she cares about! Just glad things will be getting better for her in many ways!!

Your workout are just pure insanity! I love it! I'm getting DOMS just reading and thinking about it! Lol

Today's my last day of Osta @ 20mg...going back on cycle in a few days though, so I suppose I'm not toooo heartbroken ;)

Workout looking good!
Thanks Brother!

Yeah it is pretty awesome to say the least. I have never been this intense and at the same time been embarrassed by the actual weight being lifted.

Nice!

I can not lie I am fiend'ing for my next cycle to start... Remember I was going to start one when i started this run to allow my biceps to heal. Now it is feeling better and i want to crush a massive run but going to stick with what I am doing until I go get my bloodwork.

Now for what to run right after... sooo many options. I ordered some legit caber so I think whatever I run I am going to run TR3ST with it. Will more than likely be EP15TANE and TR3ST.

Oh yeah today is an off day, eating a bit lighter and recovering. I might go do a lil cardio today or just mow the lawn tonight. It is a rest day after all.

Nothing to be embarrassed by! Just making it through the workout is a huge accomplishment!!!

Hey, when I walk in the gym the only person I see is myself. Could care less what anyone else thinks. Chances are they don't have a clue to what my goals are.

Stick with your plan, you'll be glad you did in the end.

Cardio is always good! Keeps me from getting tight and makes stretching easier. And that is the key as you get older!

Amen, and I don't let it get to me but sometimes I see shock on someone's face when I get up from benching 135 looking like I just did 225x20. When i got up from the leg press the other day with 3 plates per side and damn near fell down the 2 guys next to me looked so confused. Especially since they have seen me rep out with 22 plates on it for 12 reps. You know they were perplexed to say the least.

I will be honest the way I see it how my body looks reflects my work. The work itself isn't the goal for me, the physique and function is. If I look good I feel good. At this point I may need to set PR's for the movements the way i do them now to continue making progress but the goal is not performance based IE setting PR's. Instead it is aesthetic based. I want to set a new personal best for my physique by looking better. My health will remain good due to good nutrition, conditioning drills and flexibility will be good because you want a body with beautiful lines you really should be working on stretching and elongating the muscles.

Other than that my fitness goals are to be more well rounded on some other facets of fitness like body weight work, yoga, and of course if money allows getting back to martial arts at some point.

Martial arts (while badass) doesn't sound like a very holistic experience for your body. Like powerlifting & strongman. Good for the soul, not necessarily the body.

I suspect the One would make a nice stack w/ Trest as well. You looking at the t/d or pinning some acetate or decanoate?

Yah who the fug cares what people thing when you look like a beast you are well justified. I know how brutal these routines can be as I have done a lot of routines very similar so I can relate how hard it must be. Actually I can almost feel it ... especially that leg routine ... fuggin slow negative squats are fuggin brutal.
