The Arachidonic Acid Help Guide

I'd just continue dosing preWO only as you've been doing...I (and I've read many others) have tried both ways and noted same results with both approaches..at least with preWO dosing only you get more workouts in..

Alright, will continue to dose on lifting days only then. After only 2 weeks the increase in size I have seen is really shocking. Although the joint soreness in the elbows and right knee (had surgery for meniscus last year) have been pretty noticeable. I'm hoping Joint Help from IForce will help counteract this.

Another lurker reporting in. Read through every page. Thanks for the great guide and seemingly infinite patience in answering a lot of stupid and repeated questions.

I've got a couple bottles of ABE and some ArA ready to go for my bulk next month; reading the experiences here has me practically giddy for the gains. I was totally unaware of the GMS and carnitine benefits; I'll need to pick some up before I add the ArA to the ABE.

Nothing to add--just wanted to thank you for the guide!

Yep! Pretty nice deal on X-Factor to celebrate the study release. I admit I've held a lot of skepticism about ArA, but between the plentiful anecdotes and the study results, I'm willing to throw in and give it a try.

Plus, I'm still little enough that I'll get by just fine on 1g per workout, which makes it an even better value!

As an FYI, many supplement sotres now have Xgels for $34.95 :D

We'll be having a whole series of X-Factor sales to celebrate these results!

Please facebook me bro, if there are some crazy deals!! srs. Sometimes I go a few days without getting on forums but always on facebook.

Mike

Will do Mike! You'll also see the return of X-Factor and X-Factor Advanced in discounted 200ct bottles very soon!

Took my first dose of ArA and ABE today, gotta say I had one hell of a workout. Stamina and endurance was through the roof; I did not want to leave the gym. Already feel a slight "fullness" not sure if it's from the ArA or the ABE. Also, definitely notice some inflammation from the ArA, expecting some serious DOMS. Can't wait to see what strength and body comp progress I'll make. I stacked it with Hemavol, another 500mg of agmatine, KNO3, caffeine, betaine, 2 scoops of Glycergrow, ALCAR, and some tyrosine.

I typically consume some almond/peanut butter about 3 hours after my ArA dose. It's only about 1 tablespoon; should I push this back or am I all good? Also decreasing my total fish oil intake as well.

Good call on decreasing fish oil and consumption of almond/peanut butter. 1 tablespoon is fine.

Glad you are already enjoying the effects, they'll become highly amplified come a week from now.

I know that GMS is used for emulsification and that a salt like LCLT is used to optimize an ArA cycle, but I was wondering if ArA is effective dosed solo? Reason being is in Canada, I would have to pay $70 for GMS shipped for 50 workout days supply. LCLT is cheap though.

Yes, ArA is definitely effective solo...

Alright, cool. Gonna definitely be using LCLT though cause it's $31 shipped for 150 x 2g doses, which should last me 3 cycles. GMS is stupid expensive shipped to Canada though.

Also, this has probably been discussed ad nauseam but can't seem to find an answer: how long do you wait between 50 day ArA cycles? Surely you'll have to go back on fish oil or some sort of anti-inflammatory for a while in order to recover.

I've got another little question to add, as well: GMS is a suggested additive for its emulsifier properties (and it helps a little with super-hydration, to boot), but would soy lecithin serve a similar purpose? I ask because I already have a tub of soy lecithin from my kava experiments, and it'd be cool if I could repurpose it for ArA use, too. Any reason it wouldn't emulsify as well as GMS?

My apologies for not reading the whole thread before asking (when I have time to sit down and read through, I will). Has anyone experienced any diarrhea with ARA?

I have been taking 6 caps of X-Factor along with 4 caps of Peak Beta+ and two scoops of high volume. I initially thought it could be something in one of the other two supplements, but when I took X-Factor standalone it still gave me some stomach issues?

Crap, now those of us without an immediate need have the hard decision: jump in now or wait for these allusive 200ct bottles to drop?!

I have a couple of questions. I ordered a bottle of XFactor Advanced and have used it a few times but not regularly enough to notice any change. I really do hate the fishy smell, but if that's the price to pay for the results people are raving about, I'll hold my nose and gut it out.

1) This thread says not to take Omega 3's within 4 hours of taking ArA, but XFA says it has "ARASYN™ 40% Arachidonic Acid Oil In A Proprietary Fatty Acid/Oil Blend, Ultra Purified Omega-3 Concentrated Fish Oil, Boswellia Serrata Resin 18%" and even the original XFactor says it has ARASYN in a fatty acid/oil blend. So I'm just confused. If it has Omega 3 concentrated fish oil in the capsule, why do we need to avoid Omega-3 fish oils while running it?

2) I did buy some LCLT to go with it. Will the GMS help even more? Or is that something that the advanced version (which they say has increased bioavailability, cellular uptake and enzyme support) has already taken care of?

Damn I need a few years to be one.

So am I

It happens. It can definitely make any inflammatory issues worse. Try using topical creams

Hi Guys,

Is there anything in Xfactor/GMS/Alcar that could possibly affect libido/flacid penis girth?

Been taking it for 3 days now, and my morning wood has gone and flacid penis size has definitely decreased

Could be the extra muscle growth in the thighs, so your meat just looks smaller. not srs......

To my knowledge, nothing about the three should cause any problems. Could be mental

Ive added ABE, XFactor, ALCAR500/GlycerGrow to my diet and these things have happened. Mentality doesnt dictate physical size my man, haha, its a very "physical side effect", unless my eyes suddenly dont work

Actually yeah it does! Psychological stress is the leading cause of low libido and ED. You feel good, less stressed and confident,.....your meat hangs. If not then it plays peek a boo. Quick google search will coincide with what im telling you

Pretty sure its the fish oil in the XFA, going to stop touching XFA and stick with XF, fish oil always impacts me really badly

I'm gonna miss the s**t out of ArA. Upped the dosage to 6 gels pre workout for the last week and the pumps have been insane. incredible product.

For what it's worth I've been taking OG DCP through my ArA run and I.ve still reaped benefits...maybe I could have gotten more, I'll never know I guess but I've put on 8.5kg over 16 weeks (last 8 with ArA) at roughly 1:1 ratio so like newbie gains.

To add to my above post I have a history of ulcers so possibly something interacting with them?

Any thoughts on this?

Awesome feedback, great to hear we have another highly satisfied customer :)

Please discontinue immediately, those with ulcers and inflammatory conditions absolutely should not be using Arachidonic Acid supplements.

Opps!!! 0_0

Thanks for the heads up! What's the reasoning behind ulcers and ARA not mixing? Is it because ARA is acidic and that's bad for ulcers?

Any thoughts on my question as to why we need to avoid Omega 3s when the XFA contains Omega 3s. I apologize if that's been answered, I didn't see it.

The dose of Omega 3's in XFA is very small compared to the dose on woukd take on a daily basis. However, it has been shown that the added omega 3's actually syngerize with ARA as it displaces ARA and allows more to circulate through the system. (In simplified terms)

This.

You will still get a great run run from it :D
Hey buddy, quick Q for you or Synapsin Grambo. Any worries of taking this or GMS (frequently stacked with ArA) with a Nitrate product containing vitamin C? I've read multiple recommendations for doing so but wouldn't that encourage nitrosation due to the presence of lipids? It seems like ascorbic acid benefits to halt nitrosation are completely reversed in the presence of lipids. Not only reversed but carcinogenic. I called a few pharmacies but as usual they had no clue what I was talking about lol

If this is dependent upon the ascorbic acid, which many companies add to their nitrate product, would pomegranate be able to be used as an antioxidant in the place of vitamin C?

Inflammation can exacerbate ulcers. Additionally, we do not recommend our products to anybody with any known pre existing medical conditions.

This is precisely why Bill added a low dose of fish oil to the Advanced formula, and is among reasons why many prefer it to the original.
