Good job staying strong! So glad you're continuously healing and will be able to feel better about your training too! :)

Thanks!! Leg day here in about an hour, so we will see how I do ;)

lol...i was never able to have a few here and there. for me it is all or nothing, and for today i choose not to.

those workouts are really coming along!!!

Broke the norm and did legs on Monday :D

Lying leg curls 2 warm up sets
3 sets 10@ 120
After each sets I went straight to doing 10 partials, in the stretch position.
I really didn't think I could finish them, but got in that mindset and pushed through.

Squat
3 sets of 10@ 225 w/3 sec negative
Was supposed to pyramid up with sets of 8, to a heavy set of 10, then drop back down. Being it was the first time I had done any squats in almost a month I wasn't going to push it to much. Normally I would of went up to around 315x10, then dropped back down.

Leg Press 2 WU sets
3 sets of 8@ 10 plates +sled

Heavy Dumbell lunges
2 sets 10 each leg @ 45lb DB
These you do one leg at a time, So lunge forward with right leg. Bring left leg forward to center, then lunger forward again with right leg. Do ten reps, then switch legs. Do two total sets. Got winded pretty bad on these!!

Straight leg Deads with DB's
2 sets of 20 w/55lb dumbells
Slight bend in the knees but really worked on the stretch and powered back up.

Not sure if it was from cheating over the weekend, or from pushing myself more in the gym but hunger seems to be up some. I'm afraid it may get worse. I have 18 weeks until a competition I am shooting for in Oct. So upping my test e quiet a bit this week, and starting a new cycle altogether in a few weeks.

Really nice leg wo!! That's awesome on squats for it being so long!! Great job playing smart and still pushing a little more each time!

Thanks! I like to squat heavy and fighting the urge to today was tough ;)But I had a pretty good workout all around, so I'm happy with it.

Those SLDL for 20's must have had your hams just a burning... nice

Oh ya!! I used to go pretty heavy with these using a BB. But after figuring out how to correctly flex and use my glutes and hams to pull myself back up, I'd almost rather go light and higher reps. It just feels a lot better ;)

dude...if you are on test e it aint no wonder appetite is up, lol....i have to give you credit, that is a short timeframe to prep for a contest so soon after surgery!!!

props if you can pull it off!!!

Nice leg lifts, JDG. 225x10x3 w/ a slow descent isn't that light having not done them in so long.

Ya, and I am afraid it is going to get worse as I up my test!I think I can. I'd really like to put more size on before I start cutting though. In a few weeks, after this short cut, I'll slowly up my cals and try to grow some more before lowering them again. Got a few other things I'll be adding in ;)I had actually planned on competing about a month ago. I started cutting to late, and my body fought back. Then had some "life" issues come up which put a few more strikes against me. So I ended up calling it off. I WILL GET back on stage again though damnit!!!

Thanks man.I really liked the slow decent. I worked on my form some, and really tried to get down in the hole on them. I normally can't get much past parallel, if any. And going "lighter" and slow I felt like I could work on it some.

Ya, I had said something to my wife last night and she was like "WHAT?? I thought you were going to wait until next spring?" LOL. I told her I will see how I am about 12-14 weeks out and go from there ;)

So weights been staying around 194-196.. besides me drinking a few every night on the front porch everything else has been pretty clean. If anything my cals may be a little low. For example I try to get in some EVOO in the evening and sometimes I forget. Or I will miss a meal at work and end up with just a protein. So I guess I will drop the drinks in the evening :'( and try to start doing a little more HIIT cardio.

Really got to push it today at the gym. Only thing that lacked was my incline bench, I was pushing upward of 205 before and I stayed at 135 for my sets today :(

Incline DB 2 WU sets
Reps 12,10,8,6 with 70's, 75's, 80's, 85's

Slight Decline WIth a strong contraction at the top
3 sets 8 @70's
I just took two 25lb plates and stuck them under the flat bench to make a slight decline on these

Tube stretching for 15 reps between every set for the rest of the workout.

Go to around 0:45 secs

Incline BB bench
4 sets 8 @135
No lockout, no pause on each rep

Side laterals Supposed to use maching but didn't have one so used DB's
2 sets 8 @30's then 2 sets of 8 @ 25's
EVERY SET HAD A DROP SET USING 15's w/8 reps

I got to where I couldn't do the stretching after these. My shoulders were getting fried!!

Reverse Pec Dec 90 sec rest between sets
4 sets 20 @ 60lbs

Over and Under BB presses
Got to BSing with a few people and completely forgot to do these!! Damnit!!

20 min low intensity cardio on treadmill

Niiice chest/shoulders!!! Really picking it up this week!! I'm sure dropping out those extra "carbs" will do the trick! ;)

Thanks wasme and kat. And Kat, yes I am sure if I drop the extra liquid carbs at night it will help ;)

I agree, strong laterals. Nice sesh bud.

Thanks guys. I am thinking my shoulders will be sore again tomorrow haha. That's good though, my side and rear delts don't normally get sore, and when they are I can tell I did something.

My side delts are very sore this morning!! My right one was sore when I woke up and thought maybe I slept on it wrong, but now both are sore!!! Hurts to lift my arm out to the side. May be a little rough at work tonight haha.

No weights today. Fasted cardio this morning. Took 2 Combustion and two servings BCAA pre- cardio. Sweet my butt off again. Came home and had to make myself eat, which was crazy because at that time I had been up almost 2.5 hours :D

Cardio was Stairmaster and Treadmill:

Stairmaster 14mins level 4 and 9, alternating every 60 seconds
Treadmill 15 mins Incline 4.5, Speed 3.5 steady state

Well if it's not one thing it's another. I finallly feel like i am healed enough from surgery to start really pushing it and I have messed my neck up some how. About a week ago I woke up with a kink in it. I thought maybe I had just slept wrong, but it is still bothering me. Some days it isn't to bad, or I don't notice it much. But I did back today and doing the pulldowns really aggravated it. I've actually got ice on it right now as I am typnig. Not real sure what it is. Before today if I turned wrong it would tighten up in one spot on my left side. If I slowed down and turned easy into it, the knot would let loose. Well today it is sore non-stop now. Argg!!!

Anyway, enough with my whining. Here's how my workout went.

Meadow Rows
3 sets of 10@90lbs

Lat pulldowns Started with wide grip and moved hands in a few inches each set
10 reps @140
10 reps @160
8 reps @180

Cable low row single handle weights and reps each side, one side at a time
3 sets of 10 @70lbs

One arm lat pulldownusing an underhand grip, I almost did a twisting motion, where I would start at the top with my hand facing in and as I came down I turned my hand to face backwards like an underhand grip
3 sets 8@70lbs

Almost forgot to add in, I did a quick calf routine because i missed it the other day. Just some seated calf raises.

Seated calf raises 30 sec rest between sets
2 plates x15
3 plates x 15
4 plates x 10
3 plates x 12
2 plates x 15

I couldn't really push myself to hard after the lat pulldowns, but did what I could to finish strong.

I hate your neck is bothering you! That's not good! You really pushed out a good workout considering the pain! I really like the single pulldowns rotating your wrist like that! Allows for a really good contraction! I hope you feel better!

combustion is 1st stim product that actually kicked in more effective after 2 weeks....you notice that you are sweating more now than when you 1st started?

Yes the sweating and appetite suppresion from it and the DCP both have kicked in more. The appetite suppresion almost to much. I've been pretty busy and it makes it to easy to skip a meal when I am not hungry. Honestly I have noticed my weight loss has stalled some. I don't know if it is from not eating enough or what. I do look fuller and my wife said I looked leaner so maybe I am getting more of a recomp effect then strictly losing BF ? The pictures will tell in a few weeks

No weight this morning.

Stairclimber-- 13mins, Level 4 and 9 alternating every 60 secs
Treadmill--- 20 mins. My calfs are pretty sore from yestarday and they started giving on me so I only made Incline 5 and speed 3.5 for 10 mins, then dropped the incline to 2 for the next 10 mins.

Well things are always changing around here. To make a long short, I graduated college last fall as a Physical Therapist Assistant. But I've failed my state boards a few times so I can't practice yet, and decided to take a break. Well I talked with one of my past instructors for 30mins yesterday morning and decided I would try again in October. There are only certain dates you can take them. She is working with me on a study plan, and different ways to study. Well I also planned on competing in Oct. So now, with the gym time, working part-time, taking care of three kids during the day while the wife works ( I work evenings ) and trying to fit studying in there, it's going to get crazy!! I've done realized I need to start getting up earlier to make use of my time better haha

BTW I was chose to leg Olympus Labs Dermatr3n. I have around 2 weeks left of the Combustion/DCP. So I will probably start the Dermatren in a week so the logs will only overlap a week. The tren shouldn't kick in enough to blur the effects of this stack ;)

That's all very exciting news! I'm sure it will be quite stressful but well worth it all in the end.

Oh ya, in the end it will all be worth it ;)I just know how stressful it got during school and the studying before. I used to laugh at some of the younger kids in my class. They would all complain how hard it was to find time to study, and how stressed they would get. Then I would think to myself, they are single (most) they live at home (most) they have no real responsibiltys. I am married, worked part-time, and have three kids and made it. I know it was my choice, but it was always funny to see them squirm when they had "so much studying to do!!" LOL

Been there too.. restarted my career when I had kids etc... made for very long, stressful days... but my god it was worth it! Good on ya bro.

Oh yes! That always cracked me up when I was in school too! Worked full time, took a full load, and had a family!! Insanely stressful and they have NO clue! Lol

I wouldn't "sweat" the bodyweight too much haha ;)

I'm guessing that, like you said, you are getting a recomp effect more than anything. Combustion + DCP 2.0 is a potent combo!

Congrats on the upcoming busy life ;)

Also, congrats on the log. I just got picked for the Ostar1ne one :)

i find it more difficult to lose weight when i bump up test, if i keep cals lower i cut fat like crazy but this does not reflect on the scales. combustion and in particular dcp 2.0 should be great with increased test, imo.

I agree, I need to quit watching the scales. I know the stack is doing what it is supposed to do. Decreased hunger (very much so), increase sweating, increased energy, better focus etc. So if the scales doesn't move, or my BF stays the same, it is because of my diet or other factors I am sure. I will know more when I take the "after" pics to compare them.

Thanks man. It is a lot of work. And it took a big step to do it. I'd started at a steel mill when I was 19. Worked there for 16 yrs, had 4 weeks vacation, decent benefits, pretty good pay, and walked away. I had just decided one day that with the type of work it was having no air conditioning, no heating and breathing in God knows what, that i really didn't want to retire from there. I would of had another 25 some odd years left. So it was a big step quitting to go to school. But from the little bit of therapy I have done I love it, and I know it will be worth it when I finally start working ;)

Yes I believe a recomp is more like it ;)I've ran ostarine once before and really liked it. Curios to see how OL's is.

^^ This is exactly how I feel. Stop sweating the scales and enjoy the product and insane focus in the gym.

Good luck on your test/studying homie!

Ya I agree with you guys on the scales. I know what my issue is. Earlier this year I had decided to compete. There were a lot of reasons why I didn't. But the main one was I started prepping to late. To get a quick jumpstart on my weightloss I dropped ALL carbs, started T3 and Clen. I dropped 13lbs in under two weeks. Then my weight loss all but stopped. I tweaked my diet some and upped my cardio, over the next two weeks and nothing changed. So I said screw it...so now seeing that I am not dropping much if any weight just makes me nervous that I will have a hard time when I do prep again.

How long ago did you add carbs back?

How long ago did you add carbs back?
Oh it's been a few months ago. I was going to compete June 7 and it was around 10-12 weeks before then that I added them back in. And actually my diet wasn't the best before I started this log so cleaning it up should of helped.

I honestly think when I get under 2300-2400 cals my metabolism shuts down. When I started the log I was on my diet to a T. I have a full days diet wrote out and follow it day in and day out. But now I seem to skip a meal, forget to put olive oil in, miss a few scoops of PB etc etc so I know they are too low.

A refeed might help quite a bit, and the DCP2.0 will help with nutrient partitioning.

Just got back from the gym a little while ago. Pretty sweet session. Maybe because I had some suspension that's been staring at me way to long :147:

I didn't want to leave the gym today. Bis and tris supersets

SUPERSET 1

Rope pushdowns w/hard flex at bottom--- 4 sets, 2 sets 12@120, 2 sets 12@100
superset
Dips--- 4 sets 15,12,9,9 @ bodyweight (supposed to be dip machine)

SUPERSET 2

Heavy Kickbacks---- 3 sets 8 @ 25's, 1 set 8 @30's
superset
Overhead rope extension--- 2 sets 12@120, 2 sets 12@100

2 warm-up sets of curls

SUPERSET 3

Seated dumbell curls----3 sets 8,8,6 @ 35's, 1 set 8@ 25's (palms facing up all the time and both arms at once)
superset
Machine Preacher curls---1 set 10@60, 2 set 10,8@ 55, 1 set 10@ 45
I couldn't seem to get the weights right on this one ^^^ Also on these I lean over the bench, and instead of sitting on the seat I stretch my legs out back behind the bench. I tend to use my legs for support and get my shoulders into it when I am sitting. This way all the tension is strictly on my bis.

SUPERSET 4

Standing Reverse EZ bar Curls----6 sets of 15@ 65lbs
superset
Hammer curls---6 sets of 10 @35's

Was only supposed to be 4 sets ^^^ LOL

A little extra----- 2 sets of high pulley single arm curls 15 reps with 30lbs

Did some hanging leg and knees raises, then went over to do some cable crunches and my lower ab cramped up on me. So that was it haha.
