This reminded me of a segment on Arsenio Hall last night. One of the ladies who produce the show has been telling Arsenio he has to watch the show. He wondered why he had not seen it and made a segment about how black people do not know what it is and why. So he had about 10 of them come in to view the show and was filming their reactions to the show then went in and asked them questions. It was pretty funny to hear him commenting on the reactions.

Apparently next week he plans to do the same thing by rounding up 10 white people and watching them watch Real Housewives of the NBA.

Yes he is, he just got his show back on channel 39 at 9:00 PM, since I dropped cable I watch digital channels now. Dude has not aged at all looks exactly the same... At 9:00PM Arsenio is about the only non-news program on. I simply do not watch the news any more. If I wanted to live in fear I would drop 15 hits of LSD and rent a hundred horror films. Screw the evening news. I don't need that mess in my life.

i did half that and then worked at a pretzel vendor in a sporting venue. i opened up a box of soft pretzels and there were a bunch of maggots crawling all over them. wanna talk about freaking the fawk out?

Were there really maggots? Yeah.. I'd freak out even if I wasn't tripping.

I took two or three weak doses before then the "acid man" at the festival dropped five liquid REAL hits on my tongue..

Never again dude. I got frozen in time, and i thought i had been tripping my while life but it had only been a few hours.

I literally saw things that weren't there- ie people had bright green energy auras, kind of like if they were powering up in dragon ball z.

I was watching a concert and the stage lifted into the sky, and the surrounding trees looked like stars from super Mario bros.

I was so frightened.

I hope so otherwise I threw out a case of pretzels for nothing.. And yes definitely never again. I'll stick to pot and vodka in the rare instance I "let my hair down".
 
aceroni That doesn't sound like just acid to me! I have done and been on PLENTY acid in my life. I used to have it by the book if you know what I am saying. I don't even want to get into how much I have used before... Good stuff, crazy strong stuff. I have also used liquid before and never got anything like a stage flying up in the sky. That sounds a little more like angel dust or something far stronger than LSD. At best i have ever only had distortions of reality on acid. Visualizations, and distortions of things that were there or like you mentioned colors surrounding objects due to inability to lock focus but not straight up seeing things like the stage flying up in the air. Of course I only took 3 drops of liquid at a time and it was crazy strong to. So who knows maybe that liquid was that strong... plus 5 drops could have just as easily been 7 or 10 especially if he had used any himself. LOL

As much as I did I always did it at home or at a friends house it was never anything I wanted to be out in public during. I wanted a relatively safe and controlled environment. Easier to stop a bad trip in familiar surroundings. I actually did used to watch some crazy movies all by myself on it. Do you remember that movie Ghost Ship? I watched that on 4 gel tabs with surround sound... WOW!!!!! Talk about intense, every time a car went by I got up to look out the window. Had to watch Toy Story after to chill me out. LMAO! PIXAR & ACID what a combination. LOL Happy I made it through my younger years...

Exactly the same with me. There was 5 of us that went in on a book, sold enough to get money for another and did the rest between us. We tripped at least once a week, sometimes twice. It definitely wasn't bunk, we just built up such a tolerance to it that it took that much. As far as my trips went, Chris described mine to a T. My other buddies would have their "head trips" where they went into some dream state and would be out for like an hour and the stories they'd tell were crazy. I never had those. I've never seen anything that wasn't there but the visuals were absolutely amazing! We were a bunch of art students living in Chicago so there was crazy art work all over the place. :-) But we only tripped inside except for the hacky sack sessions out in the yard...later in front of the lake as the sun rose. Good times for sure and great friendships too!

The guy asks us what show we're going to see, we tell him. He says "you guys want a show tonight?"
We're laughing, stoned, drunk, half tripping already "haha, yeah man"

I should clarify. I didn't see pink ponies and green elephants.

I guess the stage didn't take off like a rocket ship, but to me it looked like it was in the sky.

I couldn't actually see air underneath it. It was outside, at a music festival, at night. The ground was dark, large trees all surrounding the background/ sides that were also really dark.
The light show illuminated the trees closest to the stage. They would change color with the lights. The fact that they looked like stars and were changing color was due to this.

The green auras though, I can't really explain that. It was surreal. Almost as if I could see their energy.

If you ever lay out in the sun, stare at the distance right beyond your feet, or try staring at your feet you can actually see heat come off of them. It's like rays of heat on the road/ car hood.

Edit: @kleen basically what you described it as is how every other trip had been, this was just a bit extra.

We all went out to visit my roommates family family in Stockton CA. 5 guys drove from Chicago to CA (I did most of the driving as it was my car) with the sole purpose to trip on the beach. It was one of those great ideas we had WHILE tripping! Our one friend had never seen the ocean OR mountains for that matter. He literally cried when we made it official that we were going. And if you knew this kid, you'd know how significant that was. We had a blast! Again it wasn't crazy, just a good time with friends tripping out and talking some crazy deep conversations, enjoying nature in all her glory. My roommates sister went too...that made things a little more fun. :-)
 
Oh man no doubt I had laser focus for hacky sack on the shiz! We would go play hacky or then it was Cepa sack all the time, all hours of the day or night. LOL We had a group of us that would just go in the middle of a parking lot near a light and start playing the cops would come up to us at like 2:00 in the morning asking what we were doing and try to run us off or hassle us. Sometimes they would just park in the parking lot and watch us while they "protected and served". Now most of those times i was sober but yeah sunrise hacky sack was often played after a night of trippin balls.

Man I miss that! I need to get another one and see if i can still do it at all. Would definitely get some flexibility back.
 
I guess I don't know how many are actually in book so forgive me. But I had a situation similar to yours lb, and developing a tolerance, but this was after my above event.

And i've tried to hack but we couldn't get it going for that long enough.

Frisbee though, we'd just Toss all day

Reminds me of a Phish concert we went to. Of course we hanging around, already tripping but the gates had opened yet so we were if course hacky sacking. As we're getting ready to go in I notice this hottie just standing there Looking around like she's lost. I watch her for a moment and she's definitely worried. So I go talk to her. :-) Apparently she couldn't find her friends so I said today we could be hey friends for the night if she wanted to hang out. This girl was all over me...it was kinda ridiculous! Like she was trying to get down my pants right there in front of everyone. It was obvious that she was on something but wouldn't say what. After I finally got her to chill the **** out, we enjoyed the rest of the show...only to find out later she was 15! WTF?! I was only 19 so it's not like I was a pedophile or anything but still...wtf was a 15 year old doing at a Phish concert tripping on who knows what? The real problem came when we had to leave because she STILL hadn't found her friends...which was her ride. I walked around with her trying to find them but she couldn't remember where they parked. I offered to take her home with me in Chicago, she said she lived in Milwaukee which is a trip I'd taken many times because I had a client there. So it was no big deal to take her home in the morning, but she wouldn't have it...So I had to leave her there. Heh...the problems we had before cell phones. I did give her my phone number and she gave me hers so I could call her to make sure she got home okay. Sure enough, the next day, she was home. I worried about it all fûcking night. Just goes to show you that you have to be careful of a pretty face...you never know what lies under the surface.

Laser focus is right! After doing it for hours we were all so on point that we were pulling off the DUMBEST stunts you coulda think of. I'm talking about running and diving for shît and coming up with it lol! We did have the cops come to our apt complex (some of it was students but a lot were just residents). There was a gate they had to get through so we had time to take off. The dude that ran the garage was a straight up Rasta that we got our weed from so we went down there and watched the cops go in and out of the buildings looking for us...the whole time smoking a big ass blunt the dude rolled for us lol!

Getting it going was always a challenge. You really struggle to find that focus...sometimes it just wouldn't come. But when it did...it was epic! I've seen some badass mofos throw a frisbee around...impressive stuff!

Damn, so you basically knew the chemist?
My buddy was getting books but the most I'd ever grab was a sheet.
But I'd have a guy buy 1/3
Another guy buy a 1/3 then I'd sell a few tens and have a ten for myself/friends, and repeat the process.

Doing it twice a week would definitely blow your tolerance thru the roof, no wonder you got away with 15
