My right rhomboid and trap are completely knackered. Need some serious rehab and time off for that.

I may do USPA Nationals in July. Definitely doing a strongman in October.

Thanks broseph, I was happy with both. What are your thoughts on the squat form. You can also see my baby leg drive on bench.

Most of the lifts had technical errors, as you can see I got a red light on every lift they passed, but hey all I need is 2/3.

Looks like you didn't lead with your head out of the hole on 501 (which you took to the damn floor btw) but you finished it smoothly. You did a good job of correcting that on 530. I saw some knee action on the 530, hard to tell from the angle, but I'm guessing a little cave-in?

Yeah, I saw the 2/3s, and I wholeheartedly agree with the all you need is 2 mentality! But to be fair to you, you compete in very tightly judged meets, so any little thing is going to get you a red.
 
Solid work man. Looks like the butt shot back a bit on that final squat (ties in with a bit of the knee swimming herder saw), but you powered through it. I think you've got some more in you on the squat considering that.

In all seriousness your bench has come a long way since I started following your logs and I was also very impressed with having to walk those squats out...it's funny that you are such a good dead lifter I almost leave that out. Of course 600 and climbing is awesome.

herderdude I concur. The 501 actually got a red for depth, the angle just makes it look low when you see my hamstrings.

rob112 lol people don't walk out 500lb squats? If Malanichev can walk out a grand, we can walk out anything below that. Thanks, I'll keep gaining on bench, a 198 shouldn't be pressing sub 300.

I did a strict muscle up for the lulz last night, immediately lit up my shoulder girdle and rhoms in pain. Still hurts this morning. Mistakes were made.

My OHP is awfully weak and I want to do strongman again.

You can try something similar with a barbell or dumbbells supporting yourself on an incline bench.

I always do them with dumbbells on like a 30 degree incline. Have most of my chest off of it, and catback the thing. I think catbacking makes it easier though, so I'm going to work on breaking up the movement to make it harder.
 
Yea I think DBs would have to be the way to go for me as well. The EliteFTS DB benches have a lot of bulk in the under part for a bar to fit.

I would write 6 x 3...but then again Sean would write 3 x 6 which would make it "appear" even more incredible.
