Mountainman and Follidrone: Oh-Myostatin!

I do love red meat. I try to always have red meat on nights after I worked out a muscle group I'm trying to focus on.

Must be why I am so strong due to all the red meat and peanut butter I eat.

haha

WHen Im bulking I eat tons of peanut butter. IM pretty sure it just makes me fat lol.
Could be the whole bottle per day ;)

Yep, it is so true. I am going to do what I can to avoid things and live the best I can, but that also means eating and consuming things that may not always be the best choice. I gotta live, dammit! lol

Im not trying to discourage you. Ive done incredibly damaging things to myself personally. I lived my first 38 years with the gas pedal firmly pinned to the floor.
Ive done just about everything in the name of adrenaline and in the pursuit of strength and muscle mass.
Pursuits that stopped my heart literally and I was dead for 5 min and in a coma for 13 days. I now have a pacemaker.

This doesnt stop me though. Ive regained over 50lbs since then and my strength is close to my fully geared strength except for a few lifts.
Dr told me dont lift more than 25lbs and today I deadlifted 505.
Its true we are all going to die one day.
We are all heading for old age, pain and death....its coming. So you may as well live like an Fn savage.

I do want to do my best to prevent harm to others though. Ive seen cancer ravage several people in my family.
My mother, my brother and Ive sat in a cancer ward watching people being treated. Dying people with no hope.
This...is not living like a savage. This is early demise with no gain.
Pretty much the only thing I would say to 100% steer clear from are carcinogens.

This morning after 6 days off Folli, still holding strong:

Now that is good news. I sort of expected the endurance aspect to slow or stop but I had the impression that a good deal of the weight gained is muscle tissue. Again I know its supposed to be impossible to gain 10lbs in a month and have it be muscle but this is because protein synthesis is hindered.
All indications in studies indicate protein synthesis is altered heavily in the favor of anabolism.
I guess well see as time goes on but this is a good indicator. I would think keeping food intake high enough to maintain the current weight will be a factor.

Meaning even if you gained the mass with no caloric change after the follidrone you wont have the improved protein synthesis so youll need to re asses caloric intake for a guy who weighs 10lbs more.
