Montego an Snagency tag-team with FINAFLEX in the corner

What brands would you recommend that are readily available?
a good one (duh)

there are a couple different options, and it's prolly going to be different to each region as to what is available
Designer Skin puts out some good stuff, and Australian Gold has a great after-tan moisturizer that helps tan soak in & keep skin hydrated (I'm not a huge fn of their actual tanning lotions tho)..
stay away from the store-bought bargain brands

the place where you tan at prolly can give you a pretty thorough education on choices, if they sell product in store there like most do

I did the same thing at a BBQ recently. Everybody was smashing ribs and pork shoulder. All kinds of deliciousness.

I had cold cuts from the deli and hb egg/egg whites

Just whatever is in the coconut pecan icing.

I've made one of these before cause German chocolate cake and banana pudding are my wife's favorite deserts. She said I couldn't combine them.........don't challenge a fat boy with a very creative imagination :P

I work at a car dealership...people are always bringing in donuts, cookies, buffalo wings, pizzas. I love walking by my colleagues; fat, unhealthy, stuffing their faces with this crap, trying to get me to eat some. I just say, I could eat it and it would probably taste really good...but I choose to look like this instead (basically saying I don't want to look like them). We're like family so I can get away with the vanity...but they also know I'm right lol.

I typically need to walk away. Although I do find as time goes on, I am not even interested in such sweets. I also find a quick protein shake takes away a sugar craving.

Did someone say ribs though? lol

Great carb up last night. Muscle are full this morning for sure.

Only bad thing about a big carb up meal is the next day I'm ravenously hungry. Keeping that water intake up to help out.

I found water to be a huge factor in the snags diet. Not only to help not get hungry after refeeds but it helped keep my stomach expanded to handle the massive refeeds he gave me. I just wish I could sleep after them. Is get so friggin' spun up from all that energy it would take 3-4 hours to crash.

I sleep like a rock lol

the secret is eating that meal, and then hi-tailing it to bed to sleep..
otherwise if I get sidetracked yeah I can be awake for awhile indeed, energy starts flowing

Got some new pieces coming in on the upper back around the Angel head.....some striations and that big ass tendon or vein or whatever it is that runs vertical...never saw that before.

Nice work Monte!

Thanks guys :) Actually very stoked atm with progress. Seem to be holding my size nicely.

Some notes from this past week -

Im getting pretty sore after workouts. I don't know if this is from changing my approach or its from the reduction in calories (both most likely) but DOMS are hanging around quite a bit longer then normal.

Sleep is still good and I havnt had any G8 in a while.

Cardio has been a struggle.....just don't seem to have the drive to get in there but Ive been sticking with it perfectly.

Last week I added in ECA and its been working nicely so far. This week I move into the next stage where ill be adding in MK-2866 at 25mg a day and GW50156 at 20mg a day. This will either run the rest of prep or at least until 2 weeks out. Might start the GW a bit later so the energy aspect is there for the last two weeks.

Still more goodies to add. Still more growing to do. Its about to get fun.

So kept with the trend of this week with some pump day type work....making it a deload I suppose.

Flat bench
Worked up to three sets of 10-12 with 225 keeping good TUT

Slight incline db press
Five sets of 15 with 60's

Hammer strength incline ss stretch pushups
For sets of 12 with 180 on incline and pushups too failure

Seated cable flys
FST7 with sixty. Reps in the fifteen range every set

Cable crushes
Seven sets of twenty with 100 lbs. Really focused on rolling the movement and holding the contraction while dispelling all the air in my lungs

Smith calf raises ss standing calf raises
Sets of ten with 135 ss says of ten with body weight. No rest between ten total sets of each...pain

Couple pics in the "quarter turn" positions

The side without my tattoo I'm twisted much more and my waist does disappear better but I dunno how I feel about the rib cage sticking out.

Posing can be somewhat different from person to person, depending on body type, frame, dominant/ weak body parts, etc. There is a base structure to each pose, but you have to find the little tweaks that accentuate your physique the best. Like in this side pose quarter, I always show my right side, because it just feels more natural, and my confidence comes out on stage significantly because of that. I personally think in the first pic you should try and twist your shoulders around a bit more. The wider you can make yourself look to the judges, the better. I am also not a fan on bending my exposed arm(in the first pic, that would be your left arm) so much. I like to keep it a bit straighter, as it shows my shoulder/arm tie ins more dominantly.

In regards to your rib cage showing, that can sometimes just be in how you as flexing your lats. I find the back to be one of the hardest muscles to flex properly. Spend a couple solid nights just practising posing your back. play with the amount of air you hold in your lungs, how much you expand your rib cage, flexing your lats rather than your upper back/ rhomboids and vice versa, etc. I used to use a video camera and record myself in about 2-3 minute sessions and then go back and watch it. That way I can see what works better for me and remember what I did in order to achieve that result. I find posing to be one of the best workouts to do when you're getting ready for a show. If you're not sweating and breathing heavy after a good 15-20 minute posing session, then you ain't doing it right!

Bam.

The reason I have my one arm a bit more cocked is that my biceps are really well developed and my triceps, although they have come asking a lot, are a bit weaker. Tight that the cocked arm would accent the bicep a bit more.

And YEAH. The lats are my biggest problem right now. In my front relaxed the way my shoulders hang you can't really see my lats at all. I've tried holding my arms out more but I think it looks goofy and I haven't figured out how to get the upper part of my lat to pop out like this.

Here is what I'm talking about from the back since you can see it better.

The where triceps Delt lat tie in is it's a huge curb...not sure if that's underdeveloped or something I'm doing....I think it's something I'm doing cause in the lat spread is not there.

In this pic, it looks like you are pulling your shoulders too far back and also down. Like I said, everyone is a bit different, but I find I have to pose my back completely different in a front lat compared to a back lat spread. Any time I have my back to the judges, I find a have to roll my shoulders front a bit more to flare my lats out and get the wings to expand to their max. Any time I am fcing the judges, I end up pulling my shoulder blades back a bit more and pushing my chest out and up. Not too much though, or I end up tightening my traps too much and it makes me look a lot narrower than I like.

Instead of focusing on an entire pose all at once, try focusing on posing just on muscle group at a time. Just your lat, or your oblique, or your flute, your ham, etc. This REEEEEEALLY helps with the mind/muscle connection and with greatly help you in your posing, as you will be able to "feel" whether each muscle it flexed proper and being seen or not.

Got cha. I'm a bit shoulder slumped so I'm always trying to bring them back...and actually you hit the nail on the head with pulling back and down. You don't happen to live in the Houston area do you? Lol

Nice! Maybe we can meet up brother. Hey ole MrKleen73 could come along too.

I'm always up for meeting up with new training bros! You already have some pretty knowledgable bros helping you along on your journey, so I don't know if I can really add a whole lot to what you already know, but I am willing to help you out where ever I can. Can always do a Skype posing session too, if you want.

Session went like this after my warm-up

Seated db curl (palms facing up entire time) ss one handed cable triceps extension
Five working sets of eight and then ten

Ez bar preacher curl ss reverse grip extension
Four working sets ten reps and fifteen

Hammer curls ss Pronated db kickback
Three sets ten and twelve

Cross body hammer curl ss close grip pushups
Four sets ten and failure

Standing db shrugs
Five sets of twelve

Prone db shrugs
Four sets to failure

One arm cable crunches (targeting serratus/oblique mainly but abs a bit too) ss hanging leg raises
Five sets of twenty and twenty five

Lots of work today and I just felt great. No rest between sets and maybe two minutes between the different super sets. Mind muscle connection was terrific......slump buster :)

cell phone app. its like facetime if you have an iphone. i got by on skype with my canadian counterparts at work and facetime with the americans. both pretty solid apps as long as you've got a reasonable data connection.

I've got an android

You can open a Google Plus account (it's kinda like Facebook) and they offer a free mobile and computer web can service that's similar to FaceTime.
