Follidrone log

I can't take melatonin if I want to be coherent the next day. I usually only take ZMA when I go through a little sleep issue and that tends to happen when I am training really hard. It's odd, because you would think you'd sleep sound, but I get restless. ZMA is better than anything for me to go out and stay out.
 
23 days in and I am absolutely convinced body comp has changed. Other than the solid 5lbs (weight is staying at 211 now), I have been getting multiple comments from people that haven't seen me in a few weeks or months. My own brother told me that I looked "thick" yesterday and I just saw him a month ago. Now, that will get you in the mind state to push yourself even harder, so today I tore it up.

I could barely lift up my arms to get the protein off the top of the fridge and it feels awesome. :)

That's a killer workout. Do you have any shoulder issues our anything with heavy face pulls like that?

To say I am completely blown away is an understatement. I sat in my truck for 10 minutes trying to see how I was going to drive because my legs are noodles. I have 1/4" dents in my legs from the compression shorts from all the blood flow.

As an aside- I switched resverterol brands yesterday and this brand has 250mg of trans and the energy levels are very noticeable. It seems to enhance the pregnenolone.

Me too! I got under the bar with the intention of getting 10 and when I finished 10, I had so much more in me. I mean, I was exploding out of the hole to the point that I had to maintain to not bounce at the top. To be honest, my legs had more. My back was not going to take it, though.

I just have a smile on my face like a kid in a candy store. I have never come close to working in that range with 315.
 
I may see about setting up my camera next time so I can keep it. The problem is that there isn't anywhere good to place it where everyone isn't going to be staring and then I am the cheesy dude.

Those are pretty insane numbers. Im more and more impressed as these logs go on. Pretty much exceeded my expectations.
 
Yeah man, pretty much has done the same for me. Especially in the last few workouts. I am in another place physically and mentally because I feel so confident that I can go to this other level.

The only other time I have been near this was about 4 years ago and I was training for a strongman comp and also had a 24 hour endurance event (Tough Mudder finals in NY) in the same month. I had just started TRT and was running 250mg a week and was training with some of the most intense guys I had ever been around. That was a period that stands out in my head and this is on par with that.
 
Yeah, my personal best was 315 X 15 reps, and that was on StenZine.

Good job man! I know that 225 X 20+ business real well and it sucks!

I whole heartedly believe it's the real deal.

I do too. In the first few weeks I think anything can play into a placebo effect and paid attention to that everytime I went to the gym. What has happened in the last 4 days, right after week 3, is real, no question. I feel powerful as hell and it's awesome.

You know, that is a toss up. On one hand, I think it would be cool to see where this could go. On the other, I am interested to see what weight and strength gains are kept after a 30 day run. I don't hear anything about what happens once you stopped, so I am curious.
 
Is there something about follidrone that helps prevent overtraining? It seems the reps, volume and intensity of these workouts would lead me to over train quickly and then id have to take some time off. It sounds like a lot of people are having lots of doms also. Does follidren also improve recovery? I should be getting a couple bottles this week, and im looking at what to expect.
 
I think overtraining is a term thrown around too much and that it takes way more than people think. In any case, I can only speak for myself when I say that am not working the volume that the other loggers are. My routines are more in the strength/hypertrophy ranges and I rarely ever go into 10+ ranges for my working sets. Recovery is a combination of rest and proper diet as well as any added benefit the FD may be providing. My DOMS are usually very mild, but then again, I don't know of a time in the last 23 years that I haven't felt like I worked out the day before other than deload periods.

I hypothesized that there may be something happening that was allowing endurance to improve, setting or preparing the body for higher intensity/tension levels. It took about 23 days to get to this point for me, so that is still something I am thinking could be true.

You could just run a 2nd bottle & then see what happens after you stop?

Are you going to log the TMG run as well? Also how do you plan on dosing? I've been thinking about adding in some TMG since it is relatively cheap.
 
No plans to log it and I am going to follow the 2.5g a day recommendation that seems to be accepted as what works.
 
My body is telling me that I need a day off from yesterday. I have about 60% energy and I know myself well enough to realize I need a recharge, so no workouts of any kind are happening today. ZMA put me out for a solid 7 hours which is incredible for me, but much needed. I am going to break my normal macros and calories today because you ever have those days where you know you can eat all day long and never get full? This is one of them.

Weight at 210.8. Again, holding steady.

I should run TMG solo too but I take it along with Follidrone. 2 grams worth to be exact.
 
Damn, I am feeling really run down again today. My youngest just came back from the doctor and she has strep. I sure hope I am not fighting something and that is what is taking all my energy.

Day 2 of no lifting. No sparring tonight either. :(

From your last few posts it sounds like your getting sick. PLus the strep.....Id batten down the hatches and start double dosing C and Echinachea.
 
Man, yeah, something is taking my energy. I am loaded up on zinc, c, echinachea, and D. So far I am just really run down with a slight headache. Crossing fingers.
 
Man, so sorry. I updated the actual review in the Supplement section.

Ends up I never got sick, I was just seriously run down. I trained harder than I have in years, and I was not giving my body and mind time to recoop. In the end, I had a pretty amazing 30 day run, especially considering I have at this for a very long time at my highest level. To push myself beyond long held PRs at 40 years old amazed me and I got so caught up in the excitement that I did not rest as I know I need.

I plan to run this again for an 8week run very soon, but I wanted to see how I fared from a 4week run and what gains are kept.

Today was 4 days off and weight is holding steady at 211 and I had a great shoulder/chest day today.

You might consider taking a B complex w/ it (something like B-Right) if homocysteine is a concern.

I was looking at TMG to add to my supp list. I cant run any gear so I need to design a safe stack of natural anabolics. Follidrone I got 3 days in and got the flu. Gonna restart shortly here. TMG I looked into but there was some reason I desided against it. What are the negatives? ARA was on the list initially as well but it turns out even high doses from food sources can lead to cancer, arthritis, asthma and other inflammation driven diseases. A friend of mine talked to Kai Green a while back and he told him the reason he was forced to take a season off due to health issues was because he had been eating only talapia...like several lbs daily for a year or something and it caused all sorts of health problems. This is just from food source only. Imagine if your taking it concentrated lol.
 
I'm not sure about any negatives, but I posted in the All Aboard the Betaine train thread because I noticed that last night and today I all of a sudden have a flare up of rosacea and I find it odd that the only thing different is that I just started this. I wonder if there is something in it that causes inflammation because that immediately kicks in rosacea and the main reason I haven't tried ARA.
