Wasme's recomp journey....

LB has always complained that you just lay there.

Hmmm always thought Kleen was the other guy...

This log just took a crazy turn

Become the norm around this place! lol

Yes it did and now were back! Nice leg workout, good deal on keeping it light.

Yes we are, and it feels good. THanks brother

Yesterday's leg workout has left me with some leg pain this morning, but all is good and looking forward to the next one.

Wasme good workout brother! Like seeing the calf exercises. I need to start working mine out again.

Started my morning with a cap of PX-White... after about 20 minutes got a nice rush.

About to have me some Stimul8, and hit the garage. Push day, will keep it light still. Heavy focus on TUT though...

My son's 19 birthday today. (Legal age for drinking in Canada, although a couple of provinces are 18). I think I will take him to a local pub this afternoon, as I'd like to be the one to have his first LEGAL drink with him.

Update to follow workout.

Workout update:

So.. Stimul8 rocked the house today.

Barbell Bench Press: 5x10
- nice slow controlled motion, with a more explosive push

Guillotine Bench Press: 5x10
- again slow and controlled really focusing on the muscle connection (bench on a slight incline)

Machine Flies: 5x10
- had a fantastic pump from these

Military Press: 5x10

Overhead Tricep Extensions: 5x12

Vbar Pushdowns: 5x12

Great energy and focus on this day. Decided to put on some older tunes was a mixture of Limp Bizkit and old Linkin Park.

Finished off the session with a 4km walk. No problems at all with my back or leg. Going to add some weight to the movements next time around.

Sounds like some good father/son bonding time. Mine is only 7 and I love watching him grow up. He truly is my mini me! But I look forward to the day that I can see him as a man, to know what kind of person he has become. Of course I think that way about all my kids. :-)

it is even more fun when your kids have kids and they complain to you about how hard it is raising a kid, lol.

Great workout buddy! I'm sure you had a blast with your son. As much as I would love that day, I'm enjoying every moment of the stage that there in.

Where are the nuudes?

Still work to be done yet brother.. in time.

Eesh.. I don't wanna go there yet. I am more than happy to enjoy my kids (as young adults lol).

Thanks brother. We had a really nice time. Went into one of the local pubs, I had a Guinness, him a Bud... nice cheers for his birthday. He had it ready, but the bartender didn't even card him. Figures as much. lol (maybe he's a regular lol - jk)

Love those guillotines!!

They were fantastic. A little something I picked up from 1ifeblood 's thread.

This evening my wife, son and daughter went out for a nice dinner. Korean BBQ place. All you can eat. However, instead of being buffet style you order from a menu and they bring you all the food raw. There are grills built into the tables. Wide variety of seafood, meats, veggies - also had sushi. Was a lot of fun and something very different. Needless to say my protein intake was very high lol.

Been a great day.

Hey Simon, Did you feel a big difference in your upper chest pump after doing those guillotines?

Up this morning pretty early with a lot of errands on tap for the day. Slammed back 3/4 scoop of Stimul8 and out to the garage I went for probably the best work out yet. I don't know if I will go another week of light workouts or start ramping things back up next week.

Went like this:

Wide Grip Pull Downs 5x12
- Deep stretch at the top

D-Grip Pull Downs 5x12
- Held contraction at the bottom

Stretchers 5x12
- Terrific stretch here, just filled lats up with blood

Dumbbell Shrugs 5x12
- 2 second hold at the top. (last set I only got to 10)

Lateral Raises 5x10
- 2 second hold at the top

FacePulls 5x10
- Very slow controlled pace to these

EzBar Curls 5x10,10,10,8,7
- 3 second eccentric

Preacher Curls 5x10

I did find the curls bothered my back/leg a little, but nothing like leg day. Feeling good, feeling far more recovered.

Glad your feeling better Simon. Just make sure you don't push yourself in too fast.

They didn't card him because they figured what old man would bring in an under aged kid to have a beer...

Damn bro that last workout was Epic Wasme style that a boy!! Glad your feeling much better bro.

Happy Easter all...

After the last leg workout (squats/sldl aggravating things) I decided to keep it simple but get some volume in. Being a shorter workout with 20 second rest periods, went with 1/2 scoop of Stimul8.

Leg Extensions: 10 x 12 + 13 partials at the end

- 1 second pause at the top
- paritals were done from the bottom 1/2 of the way up - simply brutal but wanted to just wear out the muscle

Lying Leg Curls: 10 x 12 + 15 partials at the end

- fluid motion
- partials from the stretched position, about 1/2 range of motion
- standing up after these was pretty hard

Standing Calf Raise - in Smith: 5 x 20

- slow up and down, on 10th and 20th rep, paused for 10 count at the top

After this session and with what started as a very slow pace, went for about a 4km walk. Felt great, and no issues.

Have a good day all.

20s rests, even at 1/2 scoop, must've had your HR going like crazy.

I assume your back felt good through everything?
