Dave's Newest bulk into cut for show. AAS, SLIN and GH

For back days, what do you think about strait arm pull downs? I use what I call skier pull downs where I stand below a high pulley, use a rope attachment, step back so my arms are fully extended, and pull the weight down with more arms straight throughout the movement. I tend to really feel my lats during these, but how effective do you think they are?

I love these! But you can't go too heavy because the key (for me) is to really flex the lats through the full RoM with a squeeze at the bottom. I love the burn and pump! Oh, I do use a straight bar instead of the rope. I've tried using the rope but I didn't feel like I could focus on the lats as well because I had to "hang on" to something.

Yep. The one by me that my gf goes to has all you can eat, for free: pizza mondays, bagel tuesdays, donut wednesdays, and I dont even know what for the others. And the planet fitness brand tootsie rolls all at the front counter when you walk in. Its completely unreal.

That planet fitness info is ridiculous. Poor Dave is writing novels over here. I've often thought about saving word documents with diets, lifting routines and etc so I can just copy and paste when people ask advice.

Girlfriend talked me into pizza night tonight. Gotta say it's well deserved as it's the first "unclean" food I've eaten since New Years. Queue a mini diet break for this weekend to recoup and recover.

Oh and grow some massive lats and wheels. Boom.

Nice! Roll your shoulders back down and out. Sit back into the spread to create the illusion of short and wide. Makes you waist look smaller too. When you bring your hands up for the spread lock them under your ribcage and roll shoulders back, down then forward while pulling elbows forward to "spread" the lat. practice it a bit and you will be like wtf! Just for ****s and giggles.. I need some width and peak to my bicep... What say master Dave?

Contractions at the concentric part bro. These 4 things done properly build peak

1. Exhaust your biceps
2. Pump them up BAD, that pump that makes you cringe and not straighten your arm.. Then pump them more
3. Keep constant Time Under Tension (TUT)
4. Hold a very tight contraction at the concentric part of the movement for 2-3 seconds and release slow but never all the way.

My favorite TUT exercises Cable Curls with a "W" bar (or cambered bar), preacher curls with ez bar or one arm DB preachers, incline supported hammer curls and drag curls. Those are my go to bicep movements for tension. But in reality anything can be held to create tension those are just easiest for me.

Also you can try pull-ups with palms facing you. Don't go all the way up or all the way down and only pull with bicep no shoulder/lat activation.
 
Funny about the pizza - I turned down some badass pizza today at work because I need to drop 9lbs yet for my next comp. Then gf is baking a frozen pizza when I get home. I'm not training tonight & I'm beat the f up from training & working so much overtime & lower sleep (biggest factor here, IMO), so I caved. Half that pizza was my b!tch. But I still kept it within my macros & cal limits - yeah buddy ;)

I'm ashamed of you! How dare you still need to make weight and eat that? So life got a little hard and instead of being disciplined and stay true to the path and staying on your grind you caved?!? Shame on you.... I'm actually just mad you came in here and rubbed It in my face 14 days from my weigh in lol. Hope you enjoyed your moment of weakness haha ;)

I'm not being terribly hardcore because I woke up at 207.0 this am & I have 9 wks for that 9lbs lol. But it would be nicer to ditch it sooner so I can eat more closer to the meet, so I'm being fairly serious about it.

Haha consider this - you look EPIC right now. What AIs & dosing are you currently running, & how much on cruise, if you can tell me?

Doses right now are something I'm not gunna go into really in depth. Here's a brief run over

GH 3 iu ed
HCG 250iu 2x per week

AAS- (rough estimates)
Sust 1.4g per week
Tren 300-400mg per week
Mast P 300-400mg per week
Var 100mg ed

AIs-
Adex .5mg 2x per day
Letro .5mg upon waking
Caber 1mg ew

That's as much as I will say with ought going into dose schedules. That's the key is timing it all to be synergistic. Or else you will get clashes or hormone swings.

My cruise will be around 400mg of test and either 150mg of deca or 100mg Tren E with 100mg mast E. I will be taking a break from GH for 3 months then coming back with a vengeance.
 
That 3 month break is just for convenience and to help my stock pile build. I should come into off season bulking sitting on 1500iu of generic GH for a few month period plus 200iu of human grade GH for part of my slin blast.

Thanks man. Practice a bit and post up a new pic so we can see your progress in posing! I can critique so e too. I don't know much about posing. I'm doing all I can to learn. It's my weak point by far. I have symmetry, proper diet, proper routine, conditioning, size, chemical advantage, tan and a nice overall physique BUT my posing us inconsistent. I am putting in some serious work on it and have a buddy who is a national qualified competitor teaching me coupe times a week.

Posing is probably the most important thing about competition, I would think. I mean if you got the goods but don't know how to show them off, you're selling yourself short. But if posing is the only thing you need to really worry about, I'd say you're golden ponyboy. :-)

I got arms tonight. Brutalized my shoulders and chest last night. Pretty painful and woke up stiff today before morning cardio.

My coach added more cardio in so now it's at about 300min a week. We found my sweet spot with carbs so I don't flatten way out but can keep losing fat. It's getting pretty brutal now.

I'm coming into the homestretch for this first show. Then the second one is June 7th and number 3 and 4 are the weekend of June 14th. Gunna be a brutal ass next 2 months. But the goal is to qualify for nationals my first year competing. My coach thinks my chances are pretty good.

He has decided I don't need to waste my time in Novice or JR men's. I'm going straight into open class. April 26th and June 14th are both national qualifying events. I just need to place top 2 and bam I'm in. The June 7th is unsanctioned BUT a lot of really famous people will be there promoting and sponsoring. So I will be hunting for that sponsorship. Lots of good stuff about to happen for me

My coach added more cardio in so now it's at about 300min a week. We found my sweet spot with carbs so I don't flatten way out but can keep losing fat. It's getting pretty brutal now.

I'm sure you will do really well at the shows. Your conditioning from the last pics look great. Good luck with getting a sponsorship as well.
