Most mornings I watch a trainer and his client do half a** reps of every exercise! Sad when a chick can out-lift a guy and with proper form! ;P
Nothing wrong with doing partials here and there. I think what happens is people start off with lighter weight using perfect form. As they increase the weight their ego starts to get the best of them. They start to compare themselves to other guys and at the gym most guys are just there to try and outdo one another. Eventually..well hopefully.. They realize they're cheating too much or getting ahead of themselves so they drop the weight and go back to basics focusing on micro progression, diet change, w/e the **** needs to happen to break through a plateau. Of course this probably doesn't happen with most people.
