What is your favorite cheat meal?

You in contest prep or dieting for a photoshoot? Then why dont you refeed or use cheat meals to help lose weight and increase your metabolism/t3/leptin levels?

I'm in that $2000 blackstone labs contest. You have a good point I could save this for a refeed but I'm afraid of over indulging lol. At the moment I have a few refeeds planned around family events on the weekends so I'm not sure I'll be able to fit it in before the end of the contest.

Its simply increasing carbs and decreasing fat/protein and going over maintaince to aid in fatburning/fatloss. Not taking them wont help you, it may actually cause you to stall more often.

Correct I have the refeed planned on the weekend typically on or before my heavy legs day. I have a lot going on between now and the end of the contest which is why I'm planning things around the weekend (birthdays, v-day, etc...) I'm not gonna lie this is my first time taking this dieting thing seriously and so far I'm about 2 weeks in and I have lost all of the water weight and can see some definition coming through. Hopefully that is a sign of doing things right lol. With any luck I'll have an avi like yours when it is all done :D
 
pictures dont do it justice....there were tons of fries, and on top of that fries were falling off of peoples plates and they said someone had to eat them so i ate them to make sure i finished lol............ 3 monster burgers with toppings and lots of fries!

it was a challenge, i beat the record by 15 minutes, only 3 people have done it (me being 1)

Are there any good resources you can point to on how to best plan these, how to work out how much to eat etc? It's something I feel I probably need to integrate myself but have always been wary of getting totally wrong.

Meals yesterday according to myfitness pal .... total 5000 calories.

Applebee's parm chicken.
1 package of candy hearts
New donut crunch by captain crunch.
Sugar filled banana cream and chocolate pudding 1 Reeses candy heart,1 6 tbs peanut butter sandwich with dried cherry on cinnamon swirl home made bread
Apple pie and.. to top it off..... chocolate covered strawberries. NOMNOMNOM

ONLY healthy thing I had was 1 1 lb green bean steam bag and some fish.
 
While cheats are great, some people take them to the extreme and do more harm than good in all reality.

Agreed...
I like to go hard, but I pay attention to how my body responds post cheat meal... :)
If it takes me 3 days to feel good again, etc? I slow my role on the next cheat...

Lol fair enough. I have a cheese selection that would ***** a lot of grocery stores in my fridge.
 
Reminds me of another favorite cheat meal of mine. Had Gnocchi for the first time in Rome, 3-cheese gnocchi massive portion. & it was hella good cheese. Italy didn't have enough meat for me but the cheese is worth going back for
 
i like how people record their kcals on a cheat meal when its supposed to be a free meal uncounted, hence why its a cheat :) Enjoy it.

how is PB a cheat? its not.
You would not want to know how much oil was used to keep that breast together and cooked in. Anything Tomato Basil (Italian) is very rich in oil. Just like Roma and Bruschetta.

I ate 3 big jars in total, in the last week of show prep, ha ha ha......
It was damn good!!!

Mix that with some oatmeal and vanilla protein powder and you will have a concoction that tastes like peanut butter cookie dough
 
Cheat meals there is no content or macros counted

This is the difference between a cheat meal and a refeed, agreed.

Although sometimes it is funny to count up a cheat meal afterwards just to see how many calories you inhaled
