I try.

Making a few kinds of cheesecake tomorrow but under less than ideal circumstances.

Family friend passed away in his sleep yesterday out of absolutely nowhere. Really healthy, fit, early 40's with 2 kids. Brain aneurism.

Scary things like this can and do happen. His wife is someone I had baked for a few times and I told her I would bring a few things to add to the food tables after the funeral.

Don't mean to depress you all just on my mind at the moment. I had a finale dessert addition to the contest but I won't have time to make it anymore.

Maple-Dipped Chocolate Select Protein Donuts

Calories per donut: 102
4.2g fat, 9.2g carbs, 7.2g protein

Ingredients:
1 1/3 scoops Select Protein
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 omega egg
3/4 cup greek yogurt
1/2 cup splenda
2 tbsp canola oil
3/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp baking powder
2+ tsp vanilla extract (preference on amount)
Extra cocoa if desired

Topping:
1 tbsp maple syrup (I used sugarfree)
1 tsp maple extract
1/2 cup powdered splenda (or icing sugar)

Directions:
1- preheat oven to 400, spray donut pans with nonstick cooking spray.
2- in a large bowl combine all ingredients and blend until well mixed, you may need a bit of milk added if too sticky/thick but din't add too much.
3- scoop into donut pan, filling moulds only 2/3 of the way as this rises quite a bit.
4- bake for 10-12 minutes, edges will brown slightly
5- mix together topping ingredients in a small bowl.
6- after donuts have cooled 5+ minutes dip them into the maple topping and let them sit another 10 minutes then either eat while fresh/warm or refrigerate.

Also great with any other topping, including icing made with chocolate Select.

Just a different version of recipe from before, with the protein in the pictures this time.

That's a wrap for my contest entries, as I try new things I will keep posting them here though. Thanks again to PES for running this promo, I had never baked anything before this started and now I enjoy it.

Helps that Select makes everything taste so good

Those donuts look like something store bought! It's definitely between you and the solution. Good luck guys

Select has passed the true test, our puppy Luna approves.

Damn! Solution knows how to make some sh!t, your going to the Arnold? I'm debating, I've never been. I'm close too, I'm in northern Indiana

Good pick with the cheesecake for satiating, I find them more filling than most. For any of the cakes/baked goods in here yiu can always add fibre into the batters to help. Psyllium is my go-to. The Solution's pumpkin pie is another fantastic one for calories, I can eat the entire thing and consider it 1 meal even in a cut

Psyllium husk is da bomb (for keeping you bowels regular). Y'all I'm new to this baking w/ protein. I would just take straight up protein powder shots of the PEE snicker doodle. Is the chocolate pretty solid as well ?
Going to try the Popeye cake. I love spinach.

Great recipe! I'm definitely going to make this!

That doughnut recipe looks incredible. Not sure how feasible it will be for me to make one without wheat flour and greek yogurt though lol.

I used booneman77's crepe recipe and made a little vine to go through the cooking process.

I will upload the video to my Facebook page later. :)

Chef Ben: "for people who are intolerant to almost everything!"

The advantage of being intolerant to almost everything is the powerful skill it has at removing temptation.

Birthday parties, do I want cake? No. Not unless I want to defecate myself whilst at the table.

Haha that's all I could think when you said intolerant to almost everything... Makes it easy to diet down as there's only a few things you CAN eat. You def picked the right profession

booneman77, here is your recipe in vine-esque format.

12 seconds of delicious Select pancakes. :)

Nicely put together. Those looked awesome filled up with goodies

You know the recipe is lean when adding a banana almost doubles the total calories lol.

This us why I beef up the volume/size with pumpkin. So good with Snickerdoodle and extra cinnamon. Too bad its a rarity over there.

Banana pancakes and Chocolate Select is another great one though.

Contest may be over but my appetite for Select continues...
