Montego an Snagency tag-team with FINAFLEX in the corner

Lol no..not at all. I'm guessing you've seen that we broke a record for most snow in January in the history of the city. What was it like 30.4 inches in January alone or something stupid like that lol. Another 6-10 isn't exactly appealing especially since I have to drive home from work at mid night tonight in this crap.

We supposed to get hit tonight and tomorrow for 8-14 more inches as well. Not sure where bouts u guys r though

It's snowing pretty good in the Lou. Not too much accumulation but looking at a lot of ice & freezing rain later :(

yeah I think that is the same front that is hitting us, just earlier than you..we're in indiana

sh1t's hitting everyone everywhere..I even heard texas panhandle and part of Arizona were looking at snow & sleet conditions..
wtf

Hopefully Georgia doesn't get any of this they'll be shut down for 6 months.

Do you not like your sweet potatoes touching the meat?
nah I don't mind the meat - it's the eggs & peppers I dint want it running into
any other time I'd just pile it on there, but not with this
gotta get to the grocery store, getting low on things, having to get creative (and eat a lot of eggs)

Snags you ever mix sweet potatoes with fresh berries? I used to do that for breakfast.

Big ol sweet potato with a cup blueberries and a cup raspberries with some cinnamon..

when I did that I didn't want it touching my over easy eggs with Franks

But damn was that good.. Talk about training fuel!

I'll give it a shot when you let me. That sounds kinda good. Very dry though.
nah, not dry .. just drink your water with each bite, you're g2g
you can do that when you wish on refeed days, those 2 ingredients are both inc in that last meal before bed..
but, it's a tough choice - I also like to put that almond butter in my bowl of oats as well (along with the banana)
or - you can swap out the almond butter and just go with butter on those taters
mmmmm .. makes me wanna have a reefed myself, just cuz

Lmao. I thought it fit the macros but damn you bring up good points.. Decisions decisions.

yep .. mix it up
keep your refeeds fresh that way
btw - I will tell you right now, the reefed will release heavy insulin response, you will prolly get real warm & sweat a bit, and likely get real drowsy .. that's why I like going to bed soon after this meal; if you don't and stay up too long, those carbs will convert to energy and you can have issues falling asleep
some tricks for you to keep in mind ..

damn accountant canceled on me today, rescheduled for tomorrow, snowed in he says (sigh)
and here I set up my training schedule for off day to accommodate his ass today
dammitman!

I've already got trensomnia... I don't like hearing no sleep...

So the question now.....Believe I'm going to move into some heavy weight low rep work for a few weeks. 5/3/1, 5x5, MadCow, DC and FST7 are all on the list of possible routines. I'm leaning towards MadCow since it does incorporate a few more BB movements into the program. But as with all max effort/high weight programs the not having a spotter aspect makes me a bit leary.

Ive got about a week and a half to figure it out though....might build my own hybrid program and give it a run.

I've never heard of mad cow. I did enjoy 4/3/1 and DC.

I don't feel like fst7 is really like 5/3/1 5x5 etc etc. it's got decent volume to it in comparison.

Is mad cow something I can get on google? V

nom nom nom
I dint let no mention of mad cow bother me, while eating some beef....

6oz 96% lean beef + 5oz turkey breast
(went lean with the meats so I could fit some bleu cheese dressing on my salad tonight, yum)
brown rice + black beans (killer mix)
~750cals for this supper

Love black beans and brown rice.

indeed, staples for me, my friend

Honestly the same. Buddy at work was bringing in some turkey kielbasa & sourkraut for us for lunch today - threw a can of black beans into it with some black pepper & man I was in heaven.

@ Montego1 - I really wouldn't overthink the spotter thing. Wendler & even Westside Barbell advocate always taking weights you KNOW you will be able to lift. So on a max effort day for Westside, you're basically gonna plan to lift the heaviest weight you know you won't fail. You lift as heavy as possible that day - not til a failed lift. There is a difference, & any trained lifter can usually tell where that line is for them. Plus bombing a lift clearly shows you your limitations - it's worth a lot mentally if you're always inching fwd & never hitting that wall. That confidence is worth preserving. And honestly pinning yourself to a squatrack's safety bars or rolling a bar off you on benchpress isn't THAT terrible, anyway, if you do fail for whatever reason.

Yeah mad cow is basically 5x5 with a little twist. Different weight leading strategies and some added accessories work.

The fst7 option was just a base line. Instead of the full program I was thinking cutting reps exercises down but keeping the fst7 sets added in. Still thinking on this.

Dc might be the winner though.

sigh
not to drag up old dated stuff, but...
follow-up to Richard Sherman and his antics, in his sports illustrated article recently, showing his mentality
starts off pretty good, as he leads off with this:

1. No one has ever made himself great by showing how small someone else is. That’s not mine. It belongs to Irvin Himmel. Somebody tweeted it at me after the NFC Championship Game. If I could pass a lesson on to the kids it would be this: Don’t attack anybody. I shouldn’t have attacked Michael Crabtree the way I did. You don’t have to put anybody else down to make yourself bigger

nice

and later:

9. Pete Carroll is a rock. But I already knew that. After the NFC title game, he sat me down and we talked about the things I could’ve handled better, and he opened my eyes. Then we went about the week before Super Bowl week as if it were any other game week. We didn’t paint the Super Bowl logo on the practice field or anything like that. We stuck with the theme of the program: Every game is a championship opportunity. We’ve been treating it like that for 22 games. He’s been preparing us for this moment so that we wouldn’t even notice we were playing in the Super Bowl.

again, kudos

BUT, in between those two points, trying to justify or excuse his rant:

5. It’s not all black and white. Race played a major part in how my behavior was received, but I think it went beyond that. Would the reaction have been the same if I was clean-cut, without the dreadlocks? Maybe if I looked more acceptable in conservative circles, my rant would have been understood as passion. These prejudices still play a factor in our views because it’s human nature to quickly stereotype and label someone. We all have that.

and, his last point summary leads one to believe everything else he says is to save face:

10. If I could turn back the clock … Maybe I deserved a fine under today’s rules, but back when football was raw and unsanitized, the same things they fined guys for now were the aspects of the game that people loved. The NFL once allowed players to live in the moment and be entertainers. I may have been wrong in my gestures, but if I had to do it all again, I’d probably do some of the same things. It was a big moment, and it was how I felt at the time.

lol
