Cheat day

So basically i would like a idea on everyone else's cheat day, mine is basically anything I want lol...considering the other 6 days a week I am on strict diet and I live in a house with all unhealthy food and that's usually all I see throughout my week. So I'm tryna bulk up, but stay lean...any ideas on cheat day...? Cuz I know that I need to change that **** and fast...

This. More than a meal is just overloading and asking for adipose accumulation. one meal to replenish glycogen and ramp up metabolism
 
Unless you are cutting and in a severe deficit the rest of the week I would simply have a cheat meal rather then day
 
As the others have stated, definitely go with a good cheat meal rather than a whole day. Can potentially throw you off. Unless you're going for a dirty bulk, then eat away, lol

2 cheat meals in the same day sometimes threw me off for 10 days. But I eat. I'm similar to a dog

I'll eat myself to death, or till I pass out. Passing out generally happens first tho.

Good to know if we go out to eat I'll be taking care if both u and the gf lol.

I think it depends on the cheat. If it's a "healthy cheat" you could easily get away with 2 or 3 of then in a day. Example ....

Gluten free protein pancakes with sugar free syrup

Cereal with protein shake as milk

Gluten free spaghetti with 96/4 ground beef

Low fat/fat free Frozen yogurt for dessert.

Lol, I said potentially because some people have success with cheat days and don't get thrown off for ten days. But I'm like you, haha if I would let myself I'd pass out with my face in a pizza.

You can either change it into a cheat meal as others stated or you could try a cheat window of 3hours. But don't eat McDonalds for 3hours. Have a Pizza and a desert after a small normal meal before going out for drinks for example.
A cheat day is too much have a cheat meal and a cheat window and see if you have to decrease to only the window.

That sounds like it barely reaches 300cals over what you'd normally take in.

Plus it's low fat so it's tailored more to the refeed and not a cheat
 
The worst part of doing a full cheat day is with the extra fat and dirty calories my body isn't used to I feel crappy and usually skip my workout.

Double whammy.
 
I do them just in moderation when I'm gaining size. Steak escape 12'' and some fries or something.

That's why you cheat after your workout. That way your body will get more out of the nutrients as well. Try a three hour cheat window!

I prefer refeeds. 200 to 1500 calorie refeeds.
 
Agree, a cheat meal is one thing, a cheat day is an altogether different monster. Stick to just one cheat meal.
 
Cheating sucks! Nothing worse then watching great progress for a couple weeks then eating like crap and waking up looking like the Pillsbury Dough Boy.

I am down 2 lbs from last week with a 1k + cheat meal. Totally set me back lol!
