Slayer last night, had a couple of drinks despite knowing I was gonna get my ass handed to me this morning via Fran. Took yesterday off from the gym for that reason.

Did Fran this morning. Finished in 5:17. Not bad for a first timer. If you don't know what Fran is,
Thrusters @95lbs
Pull-ups

You alternate between thrusters and pullups for sets of 21,15,9. Sucks. Took a bite of a quest bar 5 minutes after finishing. Puked. That is all.

For those of you that have mobility issues, I found this rather interesting. I will be trying it out. Apparently it's based on the principles of babies being more flexible than anything else, so we should mimmic the movements of them. Sounds silly, I know, but it makes sense. Ever seen a baby squat? Perfect form.

There's a lot more on YouTube with the same principles. It makes sense to me without having tried it. After trying it I'll know more. Fran is stupid, you should try it.

I enjoy it when I'm done, I am hateful when I'm doing it. Hope that makes sense. Wall balls are stupid though.

Sorry brochacho. There's this little food truck here in Seattle called El Camion. Unfortunately it's not Cali or Texas prices because we're pretty far north of the border and good Mexican food is hard to find. I think the whole meal was $8.

Saturday was an easy day for me. I just worked on some deadlift form stuff and did some mobility crap.

Definitely going to check those out. Speaking of vids that are pretty cool. I saw this one and thought about you. I bet you would love to work out like this. I know I would think it was fun. The frame chosen for the beginning looks like it is going to be gratuitous but there isn't much of that in here actually. Obviously you are not a gymnast but I could see you trying some of this stuff. The one arm pull ups are amazing.

I do want to build some parallel dip bars in my back yard and maybe a chin bar so I can work on some of the stuff like the Bar Brothers workouts and what not.

Yep, those guys are definitely good at what they do. I watched some stuff like that a while back upon someone's recommendation. If you get a chance, look up "Hannibal for king" on YouTube. He seems dumb as a brick to me, but he's pretty amazing on the bars. We do a lot of gymnastic work right now, but obviously not to the degree those guys are doing it. Neat stuff.

Yeah, these "street workouts" are becoming more and more popular. They're fun to watch. The core and upper body strength some of these guys possess is simply amazing.

Do it. Careful with the shoulders though. That shlt wreaks havoc on them.

I finished 5 rounds plus 15 reps (5 dips+10 pistols). My dips were weighted (15lbs) and they're ring dips.
 
Oh yeah I have watched some Hannibal vids, his group of guys were pretty big into it before I had ever heard of the Bar Bros. I get it is probably rough on the shoulders and needs worked into, I don't see me messing with some of that stuff until I approach a lower body weight. Things like planche push ups on the bars is something I can do now though.
 
Looks like a good workout to me! How much longer do you have on your month?

Me and this dude lived in a hut in Iraq for twelve months. The stuff he talks about in this post. No f#%^ing joke. Selection isn't for the abhor joe. But aside from that. He ain't all that. Just the only guy I know to motivate a bum like me. When it come to dedication, desire, and motivation when he speaks I listen.

It was a good workout. I don't care much for the T2Bs because they suck and are hard. 75 of them is too many.
I actually re-upped (couldn't pass up $47 for a month. They had a one year anniversary deal going for five hours). I'm not sure how long I'll keep doing it, but I like the results so far.

915 is still good if you're 165 like your stats say and thanks. I'll post the results or at least the link on December 2nd. Here's the link to the site so you can see what the competition looks like. It's four person teams (two males, two females)

Bar brothers are pretty awesome aswell....don't forget hannibal for king.
 
Those man makers look beastly! When I am ready to up my tabata game I may try those in a tabata session.
