Your pics are showing some slight smoothing over (finally!) but it's crazy how defined your abs still are - all at ~5k cals/day!?

Also, are you cycling calories based on off/on days or are you holding to a consistent figure(ish) regardless of training or not?

man this guy ^^ is sharp as a tack, no joke

yes roughly ~5k cals daily - tho it is more recently where I been consciously tracking cals a bit more finitely..went thru period for awhile where I was just going by "feel" and rough guesstimate on overall cals/macros, nothing really trackable tho

I do follow the intent of dropping cals down on off days, as a rule; again however, that has not been consistent either, and sometimes I find myself consuming 5k (or more) on off days....that said, there have been a few days where I was 4200 and 4500 on off days, so I would say overall I am close to ~5000-5200 cals daily averaged over last 2 week period
I would say general maintenance is now in that 4400-4500 range, assuming no activity - I mean I have dropped to 211 thru no effort of reduction in cals, and notice definitely I am lighter on mornings following the low-cal ie 4200 days .. nothing drastic, but notable nonetheless

good to see you in here again my friend -- even if you come in here saying mean things like I am looking smooth

7oz sirloin steak
1/2c basmati rice (nailed this purrrrrrfectly, delicious)
romaine salad with cucumber & pineapples chunks
~750 cals

that salad mixture was ungodly good, you wouldn't think cucumber & pineapple would go good together, but they were wonderful..combined with my garlic & cheese croutons and bleu cheese vinaigrette dressing, the taste was like an orgasm in my mouth

Finally back to blogging, got so much catching up to do, you guys all move too fast! 1-Andro bridged into 1-Alpha cycle was successful btw. Thanks a lot for the advice snags. In PCT and no problems throughout the entire journey so far. Only DEM GAINZ. Bench went from 225 twice to 225 for multiple sets and 245 for 4. All lifts went up, never seen hardening like this before. Glad to be back, let's all keep going.

975cal breakfast this morning, ready to crush some weights -- i'm just feeling it
off day tomorrow and WED as well; workouts THUR and FRI; w/e off is how the week will shape up

I have couple different proteins I rotate around, and don't stray too far away from these -- usually for concentrate right now tho, have been using Champion Nutrition Pure Whey, cuz there was insanely great deal on it..first time ever trying it, is pretty decent I think .. for isolate, if I want a tad of fat and also hydrolyzed, I go with Inner Armour Nitro-Peak; if I want almost fat-free believe it or not I been going with MuscleTech Nitro Isolate 65 (again cuz I just got insanely great deal on it, dirt cheap).. Gaspari puts out a decent isolate..Dymatize Elite is decent formula..if price is no object, AllMax has a fine isolate, Isoflex ... and the BEST blended isolate out there of all IMO (as well as most pricey) is Beverly International's Muscle Provider, this simply cannot be beat I steer clear of the usual Gold Standard (really anything by ON), and anything else that uses ion-exchange for processing method, also of products with large soy/wheat portions that constitute their protein make-up I really do not know much about True Protein, as a product..other than the fact my dude Matt Porter is hooked up with them now, and he likes the stuff hope that helps

Thanks bud. I'll give the champion a look, I have the allmax pb right now and heard the vanilla is darn good. I like the pb in my oats with added pb, consistency would be solid as milk I think.

Beverly Int is stupid good, just not fair to any other protein really.

standing BB calf raises with angled out toes/feet (no r/p, solid 12 reps)
BB RDL's (no r/p, struggled thru 20-rep set)
box squats (r/p, widowmaker-style, 8+18 on the drop.....sonofagunholyouch)

I have a Cuban workout partner, his dad has a thick accent and we were talking about peanut butter. He is very bro and this was the first time I've ever talked to him. When his wife brought 7 jars of skippy, guess a good coupon deal or something, he immediately yells "**** SKIPPY" but it sounded more like "fock skehpee" still makes me laugh think about it

I'm amazed at how primed your metabolism has been since your contest to maintain the condition you do at the calorie consumption you're at. Not meant to be a slight at all

Now smoothed over, that'd def describe me right now....up from 198 to 208 in a month & def rollin on 15% bf at least (I don't have a very good handle on what's what, but abs are covered). Getting strong as sh!t though :) Hit a PR on squat tonight, so it makes it easier to accept right now for the time being lol

actually got up this morning and did some fasted MIIT cardio (powered by cup of java & BCAA+SAA)..
15min, felt that was sufficient for this day
was a tad rough -- I certainly enjoyed the break from cardio lemme say that

followed with 975cal standard breakfast, still delicious
 
so freakin Montana lookin all buff & lean in his avi these days...making me jealous
ima make a conscious effort to get a bit cleaner, a bit leaner, in my efforts at adding muscle..all at same (if not more) cals than what I been consuming, and continuing on with the DC structure training
time to take this to the next level -- foods are all-clean, all the time for the time being







(maybe I can lose this smooth look I got going on......)

I'm trying to push things to a level ive never been at before, and the same way my avi "gave you motivation" is the same way seeing you kicking ass on stage helped push me even farther.

That being said though :) Better step your game up homie. Im coming for ya :)

I think you will be surprised by the amount of grainy I can get too, sans hormonals..
the trick is gonna be in still hitting the appropriate cals to keep my growth moving
grainy + growth in non-hormonal run is very hard, very tricky
(could be setting myself up for giant foot inserted in mouth....we will see)

all righty then..so, after mulling for couple hrs last night over dietary structure to keep up with these youngsters (and simultaneously keep on track with my own goals for growth), I arrived at some figures based on all of these yrs of tweaking/manipulation/observation of myself
funny thing is: today, this guy on another website comes up with almost the exact same figures as I am unleashing, but arrived there by very different means .... just goes to show, there are many paths that lead to Rome

so my calculations were based on higher protein intake, moderate carbs, and lowered fats -- nothing dramatic, but upon reflecting on some "splits" I've run in the past, but plugging (no lame quote edits there please) these "splits" or ratios into a higher caloric load, I came up with some jaw-dropping numbers...

roughly 4850cals, have some leeway to go upward..but for a base let's work with it
plugging in a split of roughly 50% protein, 30% carbs, and 20% fats (not quite that rounded, but you get the point)
I arrive at my own structure of (again rough totals)
~600g protein
~400g carbs
~90g fats
these #s represent the second rough draft in early context of where I was starting from; the actuality is that carbs will be slightly higher % than a strict 30%, and fats will be a bit lower than strict 20% of calories, etc etc -- adjustments, working from raw figures and getting them finite

carbs are majority bunched at strategic points, ie breakfast/preWO/intraWO/and postWO
protein - picture an IV drip basically lol, this macro is kept flowing, no longer than every 2 hrs w/o it
fats are fit in appropriately and intelligently, where carbs are low
so, there is a shift in pattern, as I consume my foods every day
cals will be all clean all the time as noted earlier

come to find out, the guy who posted up his version of this today, it came from a lean-bulking formula of 3-2-1, from the ISSA
(3) parts protein to (2) parts carbs to (1) part fats + bw figured in, a very technical algebraic equation that is simplified and (imo) better understood by simply knowing what caloric range you need to be in, then applying % split of macros to it, if you wish to view it that way ... funny, small world it is sometimes, isn't it?

anyway, I will cease showing my foods consumed going forward, as I am going to be quiet on my dietary discretion now
things may start to become quite complicated to the untrained eye..
let's just see what results can be brought to the table, and trust that I will remain on picture perfect point
if I slip, I will make note, trust me
(if you are a gambling individual, I would not bet on that happening tho) ;)

works out close to a 50-50 split food/powder ratio
is more powder than I would care to consume in a perfect world, but for practicality reasons, it will work
I've never taken protein quite this high before -- been 500 and 550 for short times, but 600+ is a first
 
Jesus....so 600g a day from solely meat would cost me around 24 bucks a day.

A five lb jug of protein would last about 2.7 days.

Great.....
