Snags gets ginormous with lean clean off-season dream bulk

Kashi has me in a state of regret for the remainder of the day if I eat it in the morning.
I love that stuff, great taste esp when mixed with what I mix in there..decent profile as well

time for lunch
turkey breast & rice mix w/ red bell pepper; greens and cucumbers
side of toast w/ almond butter not pictured

little behind on my meals today, got 2 to fit in before dinner and then shake prior to bed
will be all clean this day, slightly lower on the cals/carbs since off day

That meal looks excellent. Trying to guage the amount is the a normal size dinner plate or a smaller 'sandwhich' plate?

oh no, that is most definitely full-size plate
serving was half the pan; pan was full package of rice mix (600cals) + 1lb turkey breast (480cals) + 1 TBS butter (110cals)
so, roughly 600cal serving size for that (1/2 the pan), then toast with 1/2 TBS almond butter added another 150cals
~750cals total this meal

Oh, I absolutely love eating it. It's just how gassy it makes me that brings the regret. That shlt is so good though. I used to eat it with Greek yogurt every morning.

I'm not saying the pizzas are the best idea in the world....I'm just sayin' that if a playa is gonna have a pizza, he best be puttin' it post-workout, you feel me bro? :booty:

That breakfast looks amazing. I've learned I love grapefruit now that I'm not 5 yrs old anymore.

food has been good this day..
ham & cheese wrap (wheat tortilla) earlier was bomb

thinking about steak & cheese wrap here for dinner, with a salad
keep it simple tonight

nice nutritious breakfast as I gear up for some serious training - may just start DC today, haven't quite decided

looks kinda plain eh? well....
3/4c steel cut oats
1 scoop graham cracker muscle milk
1 scoop vanilla concentrate
1 TBS natty PB
1c almond milk
925cals of cleanness right there, then had small grapefruit as well
975cals, ~115g carbs/27g fats total

as it was written, so it came to pass

DC incorporated, to Rammstein this day (hell yeah, these two go hand-in-hand)

incline BB bench
3 warms, then 255x11/4/3 (rest-pause)

military press BB
3 warms, then 185x12/5/3

CG bench press BB
2 warms, then 185x12/5/3

underhand pulley pulldowns
2 warms, then 145x8x4x3

BB DL
4 warms, then 315x8 + 225x10 (drop set)

nice session, feeling my way around things to set up plan going forward, went kinda all-out but not really if you know what I mean
first time thru all 6 segments will be feeling out & getting used to things
i'm gonna groove on this - knew I enjoyed it the format from prior runs, but forgot just how much since it has been so long

changes to pct:
of course I have dropped the clomid & torem at timepoints along the way, and I am actually in the last few days of these (at lowest dose of PCT timeframe) .. I ran out of my sarms today, so they are done .. will be incorporating REV PCT now, 2 caps until serms are done, then increase to 3 caps for couple weeks, running along with current PureTest and Tropinol for another couple weeks yet

i'd say everything has been pretty damn successful thruout

Now we're talking.....best music for a freak work out!!!!

Rein raus, buck dich, du hast, du riechst so gut.......so many classics

YESSSSS!!!!!

Snags and DC....can't wait to see how the training cycle treats you

Dc is only for the true elite....people who really take a set/ exercise to and beyond failure.

Harder than most think....thinking that you take a set beyond failure and truly reaching failure and beyond is a whole different story.

Snags can do it

thanks fellas, gonna be fun
and yes ed - absolutely correct, this is a helluva lot harder than most ppl think, when it's done correctly, no doubt
it's a bit MORE difficult to do training solo, but I can milk it for all I can on my own, pretty damn good
excited for the progress I know i'll see, as well, guys!

No way could I do it for a whole workout yet. I just hate doing biceps so much that I bargain with myself - if you do one balls-out DC set, you can go home & skip biceps. So I do. And the music has to be there. My favorite for those DC curls is probably "Dig" by Mudvayne, or "F*cking Determined" by them. Makes me amped.

love me some mudvayne, indeed ;)
yeah this program needs some semi-psychotic/chaotic music to drive you thru, surely

so - did not take the rest day today as prescribed, as my schedule will cause me to alter days off for a week or two..this w/e is off tho
also: am not doing the prescribed fasted morning cardio (yet), simply no desire to at this point..it will come in due time
that said, I did sort of meld the idea today, a semi-fasted upon-rising day #2 done, powered by 40g WMS and 3 scoops BCAA+SAA pre + threw scoop of Stimul8 in there, also 4 caps Max Pump/1 cap tropinol/3 caps Pure Test; another 2 scoops BCAA+SAA intra, follow with regular postWO load (~785cal homemade shake concoction of 135c/55p/3f), and 800cal breakfast 1hr later ... will not be making regular habit of this, but had to for time crunch purposes this day, will be a busy one for me

BB drag curls
2 warms, 11/5/3

DB hammer curls
2 warms, 18

BB standing calf raise
2 warms, 12

lying leg curls
2 warms, 16/6/4 (ouch)

BB ATG squats (aka widowmakers)
3 warms, 7+18 (holy sh1t ouch, did not make it to 20 on drop this day)

legs were still a lil toasty from previous leg day this week

one of my fav parts of this plan is the extreme stretching done on after each exercise is completed, holding so far for full 45sec as I work my way up to 1 full minute -- ooooh love that pain baby!

I'm in pain just reading about those squats & the subsequent stretching. My bicep blew out halfway through just reading the exercises too lol

Any specific articles you recommend to learn about this program? I'm gonna look it up tonight as I have nothing better to do, but just wanted to make sure I didn't miss some key point. You know the telephone game nonsense.

Nvm I think I have the general idea. Seems interesting, maybe when I mature a bit more I will give it a go! Failure isn't clear cut, I don't think I could go to the degree required.

yeah this is something not recommended for the "beginner" or inexperienced lifter -- and by that I mean no disrespect, but neither am I just talking about the guy who has trained for only 3-4mo; rather, my feeling is one should have at least couple yrs srs lifting under their belt before embarking on this type of training

there is a website dedicated to this whole philosophy tho, Invalid Link Removed
and of course dante trudel runs truenutrition.com

Love me some widowmaker squats! Brutal to say the least.

no doubt - those are ones you have to dig really, really deep on, it's a mind-game to keep going beyond the physical failure portion
fun times
oh - and I am appropriately ridiculously sore from these past two days of effort, dig it
rest will be good this weekend, gonna enjoy time with my son

sexy :hump:

almost as sexy as my breakfast

I know I've prolly posted this combo before, but it is my fav breakfast these days

3/4c steel-cut oats
1 serving (53g) kashi go lean crisp cinnamon crumb
1 scoop muscle milk graham cracker
1 scoop vanilla concentrate
1c almond milk
grapefruit
~1065cals, 150g carbs/65g protein/23g fats

I may just be slipping in a workout this day, as my schedule this week is fluctuating again..
no worries if I do, I feel pretty refreshed & ready to rock today

good session this day - with a twist
so I made my way down to the fitness room in my complex this morning, got some different movements in with hammer strength equipment, hit some abs with the dip/ab station (and also did weighted dips off these), even loosened up & cooled down with some light cardio on the stair stepper/cardio unit that's in there .... was different feel for sure, in fact I have not had serious all-out session outside of my own equipment in quite awhile; when I do work out with my clients (rare), I do not go all out as my sessions are typically exhausting in their own right, and they way I train ppl i am right there iwth them in every set they do, is exhausting enough doing that let alone working on my own thing

anyway, exercises looked like this today after abs/light cardio warm:

hammer strength chest presses
2 warms, then 8/4/3

medium-grip upright pulls
2 warms, then 7/4/3

weighted dips
2 warms, then 9/6/3

front wide-grip pulldowns
2 warms, then 6x3x2

T-bar rows
2 warms, then 12

light cooldown

was nice change of pace, dig it
I think I may just discuss my chosen exercises thru the protocol going forward, rather than detailing sets/reps/weight etc .. #s are a personal thing for me, don't really get into sharing that as they mean nothing to anyone else really, irrelevant .. and it is monotonous for me to duplicate to myself what I already keep track of in my hand-written journal
but the exercise choices themselves, I can see value in sharing that, so I will continue to do that as we are only halfway thru the 6-day rollover protocol of the plan

a silly little pic in my goofy mirror this morning..weight at 211 upon rising
was flexing the abs of course, that's about it tho

leftovers w/ some extra chopped green peppers (leftover from ham/cheese/green pepper omelette I made my son this morning) and a bowl of raisin bran w/ granola + 1/2 scoop isolate in almond milk

Ohhhh so you have your own weights and the complex has a gym too? Heaven.

Ohhhh so you have your own weights and the complex has a gym too? Heaven.

yessir :)
I mean I miss the music that I have in my own "gym", but it's no big deal; I won't be down there often, but just enough to throw some different things at the wall and see how it develops..
also, I met a guy down there today (only guy who came in during my workout), he was just checking the place out but had lived here for over a yr, just hadn't found the fitness room yet LOL (it's up on my floor and he lives on 3rd floor)..he's an attorney, and mentioned he was thinking about getting back into working out again .....
ahem [enter snag] so I mentioned I am a PT consultant and would be able to offer my services to him if he desires, he asked how much I charged and seemed genuinely interested in picking me up as a coach/trainer .. we'll see what happens, but was good to get my name out there anyway -- there are actually probably quite a few ppl down here, professionals and whatnot, that would be interested in my services, could work out as an extra benefit

You should ask the complex owner about possibly putting up an ad somewhere near the entrance. Might be worth a shot.

Snags, what brand isolate and concentrate do you use?

Curious bc I'll be doing something very similar with protein as my "milk" this off season. I love my OxyElite Protein but it's pretty thick stuff. Any advice?

I was thinking of going with True Protein brand as I enjoyed their "team skip" vanilla blend

Hustlin' like a boss
always trying to do something ;)

That's awesome... sounds like you have a great setup in your new complex.
digging it real swell indeed

hmmm interesting..mgr is a piece tho, kinda snooty, dunno if she would go for it
there is nothing else up like that around here, where it advises a specific business or a like a board that has business cards pinned up on it

I have couple different proteins I rotate around, and don't stray too far away from these -- usually
for concentrate right now tho, have been using Champion Nutrition Pure Whey, cuz there was insanely great deal on it..first time ever trying it, is pretty decent I think .. for isolate, if I want a tad of fat and also hydrolyzed, I go with Inner Armour Nitro-Peak; if I want almost fat-free believe it or not I been going with MuscleTech Nitro Isolate 65 (again cuz I just got insanely great deal on it, dirt cheap)..
Gaspari puts out a decent isolate..Dymatize Elite is decent formula..if price is no object, AllMax has a fine isolate, Isoflex ... and the BEST blended isolate out there of all IMO (as well as most pricey) is Beverly International's Muscle Provider, this simply cannot be beat
I steer clear of the usual Gold Standard (really anything by ON), and anything else that uses ion-exchange for processing method, also of products with large soy/wheat portions that constitute their protein make-up
I really do not know much about True Protein, as a product..other than the fact my dude Matt Porter is hooked up with them now, and he likes the stuff

hope that helps

There's a fellow at my complex that has little classes outside (of course right by me of all frickin places). But anyway point is it's one hour out of his week and since he isn't just handling one client I'm sure the hour is well worth his time. Maybe look into that or something similar

classes eh? or do you mean glasses..
lol, well honestly I could not fathom doing what I do, on a multi-audience basis..everything I do is totally structured and tailored to the individuals needs & goals .... i'm not out to get rich and fleece ppl, I want to provide solid, tangent results and loyalty among my clientele -- and enjoy myself in the process, as this realm of things (ie improving the body etc) just fascinates me, really

He is taking the concept of a class you would attend at say golds, and simply having it outside. Body weight movements, kettle bells and all. The people who attend are mainly mothers who simply need motivation (from each other) and a schedule to follow.

ahh yeah, se there ya go - that kind of setting would not appeal to me, doing it as a large portion of my business..a few isolated women clients here & there, okay; a bunch? no sir

nothing wrong with it, again I just need to enjoy who I am working with, is all, and I am master motivator but it has to be with the right person -- the wrong person would take me the wrong way, and from my perspective I simply would not enjoy it at all

that is why ppl have different niches/interests tho, in who they seek out as clients..
again for me, this is not about the money -- I do not consider this as my main business or source of income; that would be insurance (for now anyway)

And they play Elton John the whole time....ain't nobody got time for dat. We crush weights, curse and listen to Eminem!

Gotcha, no point in doing it if you don't like it!

Well on a side note how is the facility? Well enough equipped to guide clients or would you have to meet up with them somewhere else? You might have answered this already but I am typing this at a stop light rather quickly lol

yep decent enough to work for basic training
if I run into someone more advanced, potentially I could train them between my own gym here at my crib, and the facility down there (other end of hallway, is why I refer to it as "down there")...or, lug some DBs and maybe some cable attachments that I have that they don't have down there, and train intermediates/advanced (and ppl I don't want in my house) like that
possibilities abound ..

I love Bad Guy, has so many little Easter eggs from his other art. He has been my favorite since I was 6! My sister on the other hand hates him 0.0
sis got bad taste :rasp:
yeah I been a fan since I heard his underground stuff, from a friend who saw him in a live rap-war in Detroit before he was big
gawwd I am old tho -- I think I was 25 or something when I first heard that back in like 96 or something
