Snags gets ginormous with lean clean off-season dream bulk

I can say this about using DC on various little muscles - it will at least let me maintain my size with an extremely limited investment (looking at my biceps here). My programming normally doesn't leave much room for them & they routinely have to go without. But a little DC seems to go a long way to keeping the meat on the bone.
 
another day of mixing & matching in training, nothing special, still stressing slight uptick in volume w/ overall reduction in intensity for now, continue to break back into the flow of things and solidify my gains to this point..

I have decided I will most definitely make translation to DC-ish training, stressing optimal rest/pause format, and get into a more rigid protocol here in ~ another week or so -- till then, I am just in as close to maintenance mode as possible

I mean until I spruce it up a bit, all quinoa tastes pretty much the same to me, tho the red does have a tad bit different taste/texture than other varieties

As bodybuilders you two should look into mountain dog training. John Meadows knows what he is doing.. I'm three Weeks into one of his twelve week programs and I'm already seeing gains.

I've seen the MD layouts just haven't gotten around to trying them out.

This is actually my first shot at GVT though.

again - just not a big fan of running "preset" structured routines, prefer creating my own, or tweaking something based on principles that some of these programs embrace

pretty well set on going into a routine that uses DC-type structure, utilizing rest/pause, and less frequent training



on the dietary front, really just been cruising, paying attention only to total cals to stay within my goals..
I always have a pretty good idea on what I am structuring anyway, know I am pretty close to macro structure desired just by the foods that I eat; but, yesterday decided to check myself, see how accurate I was by end of day
and this is what it looked like:
4875cals, 620c/350p/110f

a smidge high on carbs and low on fats, but otherwise not too shabby :)

okay so i busted out a lil GVT format this day..
10x10 incline BB bench ~225
eissh -- strength was down a bit, nothing drastic but noticed it when i started running out of gas 7th set
followed with incline DB flyes w/ rotating wrists, coming above head to complete, and couple sets of inclined perfect pushups apparatus

6x12/10/10/8/8/8 parallel box squats
5x12/12/10/10/8 lying leg curls
4x10/10/8/8 BB RDL
5x20 BB calf raises, pause at top

wheels are a lil wobbly here this afternoon..
in other news, trimmed my beard a bit today, was starting to look like a Boston Red Sox player or something

I just nailed 2/3 of a large philly steak & cheese pizza from dominoe's in my postworkout window after some isolate. And the funny part is I'm struggling to gain right now, even with tricks like that - you jelly bro? :nana:

let's get back on track with some goodness - breakfast this morning
80g kashi go lean crisp "cinnamon crumble" flav (so a smidge over 1.5 servings) +
1/2c oats + 1 scoop Muscle Milk graham cracker protein + 1c almond milk (unsweetenend of course, vanilla)
5oz 96% lean beef
grapefruit
~850cals. 105g carbs/22g fat
(I did toss a tad bit of my homemade bbq sauce mix on the beef after pic)

still feeling pretty good, fairly strong and fairly lean, nice maintenance stage right now ...
but it's about time to force some growth again, onto bigger & better things
