Smokers road to 1st plm

True dat man. I just want to get a feel for a heavy weight off the ground. I don't want to head in to the comp going off guesses. If 350 isn't bad, then ill go 365 at comp. I need to get a feel for my numbers. Right now opening is 315, next 330, , 350. But if 350 is well, then those numbers change

Never thought I'd say this but, not bad ;)

I am in the same area with my squat. All I know if opener.
 
Deadlift went horrible. I got 350 which is a 35 pr, but I was too anxious and didnt put my chest up and I rounded like a mofo. Back is feeling it
 
Remember, a 5lb PR is still a PR, padawan. No need to bite off more than you can chew. At this point in your game, technique improvements could yield you 5lb PRs every couple weeks. You gotta build the musculature, tendons, and ligaments to handle the loads you're working with.
 
Several things went wrong.

1. I used a wider stance for the 1st time.
2. Rarely ever used belt and it's harder to get down with it on, I need to use it more.
3. I just wasn't ready. I didn't set myself and just went for it.
4. Probably made to big of a jump.

I can post vid, but I don't really see the point. It was just awful. It's up to you fellas if you want to cringe

NO BACK WORK

Whole bunch of bicep curls and then did some ohp. Lb was feeling goood but now not so much.
Skipping squat tomorrow for sure.

Gonna do a whole bunch of icing and stretching to end night.

Get that back better man. I like to try and keep strict form in the gym for pulling to try and prevent any issues, but I don't always maintain that high standard so I know how you feel. :(

I'd also look for some trigger points to work out, as that usually tends to be the way I get my back up to par again (but this will depend on what you did to it).

Did some stretching and took a baseball to the back. Back isn't doing too bad today. I'm taking Monday off aswell. I think Tuesday ill do in and do some light benching again, and some light back work, and do some hypers or something. But I'll see how I feel. My goal is to do deads on Thursday, light ibviously, but I want to do the exercise that hurt me.

He moved to Housten and got paid son. Seriously though, MCW LOOKS LIKE he is for real.

He just tied an NFL record in TD passes in the 3rd quarter. He will start next week regardless of Vicks health.

You must be torn. On one hand your team is having an amazing QB performance, and on the other that sits your torn love affair on the bench. I'd imagine you are a wreck right now.

Just take a multi and lift heavy. Good luck with your sports fan goals of 2014.

You can't judge mcw on 3 games. You need to wait at least a full season man.

After: cable rows, maybe supported tbar.
Then face pulls til I can't face pull anymore
Tricep work
Hypers to get that blood flowing

But it's a 5 week so I don't go above 180. Should be fine.

I have at home stuff to do at 6am. I made up my prehab circuit to hit forearms/hips/shoulders in 15 minutes. In a couple weeks we will see how it goes. Floss that back mother****er. Act like you are Foles and you see a peg leg or an eye patch...you want blood!

Seriously though, I remember when I only got to sleep past 5AM twice a week lol.

I used to have to catch the 6:19 train downtown to go to highscool. Those were horrible times
