triceps were popping after training today, starting to show more all the way to my elbows now, horseshoe coming in very clearly and well-defined..yeahhhh buddy

you really shoulda still been ripped from your last show doug, tbh..
certainly shouldn't let yourself go just because you are post-prep -- esp knowing you are doing another show :trout:

Hard for me to maintain I did not gain a lot really only when I started getting anabolic and then I was on not that high of calories and eating really clean. I have cleaned up quite a bit recently as well. Also I did not know I was doing another show till a while after the last. I am still cut not ripped is all. I'm still way ahead of where I was last time.

Yes I made some mistakes though. I had one week free eating and then when I went to get back to eating right I had a bit of a tough time reeling it back in. I got back up to 195 which I thought was not really that bad. I did pretty well since then though and look leaner at 204, abs are much more defined anyway. What I need to do is not go so crazy after contest is over, I need a plan for that period as well, yah some fun eating but more controlled. One thing I did not like about that period as I was always nodding off. I should have reintroduced carbs more slowly I guess.

Yah but I had no intention of staying ripped and yes I am insane :) thought we all knew that about me by now ...that being said it's my insanity that helps me get ripped in the first place :) double edged sword ...

Nobody knows this better than me Steve lived most of my life like that and I have come a long way ... believe me. I'd be dead if I didn't change that about myself but it's an ongoing struggle. Yah I heard that saying when I fist got sober about 20 odd years back :) I ain't perfect yet, I'll admit it but I'm doing pretty damn good, especially for an old fugger... :) I'll be ready that's one thing we can bank on. I'm a fighter.

half the battle is realizing you have a problem..the other half is putting a plan of action in place
work on the latter, instead of ruminating after the fact that you still have not incorporated this into your lifestyle pattern

not only in the bb'ing world, but in the world and life in general

The plan did not work the way I had planned it. I didn't let it continue for long though. I put out the fire ... :)

I do happen to agree tho, things are just popping today, looks like a damn bear claw or something, all curled downward like that .. man, I am feeling swell - even made some adjustments to diet for the day, took in more carbs and lowered protein, was unplanned; love it when I can do stuff like that :woohoo:

I keep saying this, but: hang on tight gentlemen! bringing something here I have never touched before!
 
Just awesome another money body part, I have always thought chest was your best feature but these tri's are giving it a run for they money. This is only going to get freakier looking so I know what you are saying when you say wait and see... It's exciting when you are seeing stuff you never saw before, with me what I saw was stuff I didn't even think was possible for me. I am serious when I say I never thought I could look that good. Seeing that has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me.

Yup, looks like someone took two etched hockey pucks and stuck them on. Crazy how the separation is coming on so fast.
 
Definitely showing some serious conditioning, chest looks almost granular at this point. YOu have reached a point of leanness that allows the ligaments and tendons connecting your serratus and obliques to your abdominal wall to show. I love it when you can see those cords tying in and you have one visible now right near where the camera cord is hanging. Exciting times for you I am sure!

zipped out the door to play some early morning tennis, hadn't been out there in awhile, and that is intentional..not going to go out there and play all out, and risk injury at this point; so, it was a rather subdued game on my part, working on angles and strategy more than simply power and sheer outhustling determination
and it was great! son beat me 6-3 first set, I beat him 4-3 in the second before we called it due to time allotment reached

couple pics after the action, side pose taken a bit too early so wasn't in it quite correctly, and is also my "weak" side, but you get the point..sun actually washed me out a lil bit in there, oh well..3% here we come!

I don't know when that really started changing for me in life, used to be back took longest for me to bring in, now it's like one of the first to shred

we were only ones there when we left lol ;)

I noticed from ealier pics it was already shredded up. Very impressive.
 
Man you are so freakin huge this time around. Shredded and big. Never seen your back like this that I can remember. Everything just seems to be falling into place. I see postive changes in every conceivable category and you will ***** anybody no matter what they're using. Keep getting freakier though we just don't know what we are going to run into. That being said if you continue to make improvements like we are seeing you are going to be unimaginable. Yah it;s hard for me to fathom how you could look any better but I know you will find a way, and that is nuggin futs. Brilliant job!!!
 
@ doug - very kind my friend, thank you..i am trying to stay very grounded and focused, maintaining consistent mentality for this approach all the way thru, no big highs no low lows..fact of matter is tho - I too am quite curious to see just what I can do here, not being cawky by any means, simply confident that I can accomplish anything and everything I want, going forward
all the goals I've had, all the work/training/approaches I have ever done, plus tweaks on diet and a hormonal boost that I have never attempted before are all coming together to create the perfect storm..tho I do not know exactly how this will turn out, I am in anticipation of big things! :)

I know exactly what I you are saying. I had the same experience when you took me down to hyper lean for the first time. You want to be practical about the whole thing but it's hard not to get a little excited. ...
 
Oh and just keep it rolling and it will take care of itself and let the universe decide...:)
