I need to start doing pull ups again but it's been so long and I'm much heavier than I was the last time I religiously forced myself to do them.

Holding those contractions is a must with back especially. Good session bud.

Indeed, to be honest sometimes I lose all interest in working out but I still force myself to go.
Had to rekindle my interest and stop just going through the motions, now this is what it's all about!
 
Eating so much carbs today, might as well make it my refeed. My cheating has slowed down a lot and when I do cheat I make good choices that I can easily work into my daily calorie pool, that makes me really excited.

Becoming more routine and takes a lot less thinking, makes my life easier and I can worry about other things.

Weight assisted is an option bro...I use them when I can't get enough reps ...no biggie, nothing to be ashamed about:)

and the one we have with the bar you place your feet on is just awkward, the tension just makes it hard to keep aligned but thats just my opinion

Haha it didn't phase me, it's literally just awkward for me though.

That's how I started way back in the day (if I'm even old enough to say that) but now I should be able to hop back up there.

I think I was doing 18 good pull ups last time I was around this weight. Need to step my game up

But lifting heavy @ss weights is pretty cool aswell
 
Yup yup. Learning as I'm sail along, took me 2.5 years to learn how to bulk, so I can't expect to land my cut perfectly at the first go I guess :)

But once you perfect it, it becomes easier every time. Although its never easy.

Learning to bulk and cut properly is such a chore. Some people just overlook how to grow. They are either scared to eat or eat way too much. I see it all the time. I deal with it with young clients. Usually they are scared to eat. They don't realize those extra calories is what grows them. What builds good muscle. Protein, carbs, and fat all have their place.

I have to talk myself into eating all the time. Mostlly because I was grossly overweight my whole life and I like seeing my abs kinda :)

Honestly I do a bit of over eating at first then slow it down and make sure I'm not looking like complete sh*t after all that hard work haha.

And I've been putting a ton more emphasis on carbs and the fullness is awesome. I'm still learning, little by little

So yesterday was my birthday. And a still tipsy Stephen is typing this out.

I drank a lot. Ate a lot of stuff I shouldn't have and didn't workout.

Tomorrow will be my make up day, luckily one of my friends got me a tub of Condense so tomorrow I am gonna take a couple scoops of that and see what I end up doing. I'm thinking legs but my knees are acting up again and that's a real hindrance since I really only appreciate the growth that squats offer. All other movements seem inferior frommy personal experiences.

but - certainly there are other things you can do to work aound sore knees if need be, and grow just fine
nice lil combo of leg extensions + db lunges will give you a good session

Ya I've actually have to super set lunges with light squats for my last couple sessions. I don't mind but I just prefer good old squats haha. It's like going for chest day and not doing a single pressing movement if I don't get em in.

Legs are a big no no for me to train fasted. Workout always suffers.
 
Everything sucks fasted.....never train fasted...sorry guys;)
