I think it would be cool if we were able to tag users in a post. like on facebook or twitter. Example: I love @BioCor Nutrition. then once someone is tagged, it would show in the person's notification icon.
 
I'm on a board that has that feature, it's pretty pimp

yeah i think it would be a really cool feature. especially if you want said person to chyme in on the thread, just tag him so you dont fill up his/her inbox.
 
I know there is a mod for it but the problem is integrating with existing notifications. Newer versions have it already integrated but they coded it different and it bogs the site down horribly. We had to hack an older version to work how we wanted. They don't build these things for busy sites

I'll look into it though.

You can tag a user in the menu at top or use the @ synmbol to mention him in a post. Either way you should get a notification.


Trying to move that User Tag list to the bottom though.

maybe mentioned is each mention in a post and tagged is if you are mentioned anywhere in a thread? just a guess. every mention, i should get one cent from AM haha
 
Either way its pretty cool,not many people seem to have caught on,this could be fun for calling someone out :D
