Ensuring fat is used for fuel

In a less that ideal situation (fasting) what supplements would help to ensure that your body will be turning to fat as the main source of energy?

I was thinking:

-acetyl l-carnitine
-Caffeine

BCAAs are obviously going to help

Are there any others? Maybe Nicotine?

The reason for the fast wont be given, just trying to get the best outcome from a specific situation

Why do you consider fasting less than ideal?

If you want to spare muscle, you want b-agonists, leucine/HICA, caffeine, and an alpha2-antagonist (to potentiate the b-agonist).

Options:

PES Alphamine
EC Stack + Decimate
Illegal ****

Subbed

Thanks very much.

I don't think fasting is less than ideal. I just didn't want 1000 replys about how if I didn't eat every 3 hours i would die!

Coop,
What about Anabeta Elite with alphamine and TTA and erase as a stack

Don't underrate how far this forum has come ;)

Forskolin increases adenyl cyclase activity, which is best taken advantage of by using upstream activators of adenyl cyclase. B-agonism activates the b-adrenergic receptor (GPCR) -> Gs -> adenyl cyclase -> cAMP -> PKA -> effectors (lipolysis). Thus, forskolin, by further boosting adenyl cyclase activity, potentiates b-agonists. Caffeine and alpha-2-antagonists (yohimbine) do the same via adenosine receptors and disinhibition of postganglionic NT release, respectively.

So that's ABE + Alphamine so far. And that's one side of the coin: lipolysis (the freeing of fatty acids for adipose). Now you need to burn those fatty acids, which is where TTA comes into play be increasing b-oxidation. What else increases b-oxidation? Exercise.

In summary:

The stack you outlined works very well for covering all your fat loss bases. It works best if consumed prior to exercise or fasting, both of which are periods in which b-agonism and b-oxidation are peaking.

Bonus: There is a feedback mechanism in the body that prevents "runaway lipolysis." Fatty acids in the bloodstream increase insulin release, which feeds back on HSL and prevents further lipolysis. In other words, the maximum rate of lipolysis in your body has a ceiling after which it cannot be exceeded. How can you increase the height of this ceiling? Take all of these preworkout along with a weak, insulin-independent glucose disposal agent (if too strong, you risk hypoglycemia). By reducing blood glucose without insulin, you keep insulin levels low and HSL activity high. Alternatively, intense exercise will induce epinephrine release which strongly blocks insulin release form b-islets.

Well, that's my next stack.

Excited

Coop already hit you with some solid science why it works, but the Forskolin + TTA combo is pretty much a staple during my cuts. The added benefits of Alphamine, Erase, and other additives in ABE should really put fat loss and performance over the top.

So would it be beneficial to take the first dose of TTA first thing in the morning on a LG type diet?

I currently take mine pre workout.

Also, I'd recommend fasted cardio with Alphamine for the 98% Chlorogenic Acid content. Huge for burning fat for fuel as opposed to blood sugar. Most Chlorogenic Acids are sourced from green coffee bean at 40-50%. Another ingredient in Alphamine that just makes it's such a potent well rounded and well thought out fat burner.

What do you lose or gain if you take enhanced prior to exercise with ABE & TTA instead of alphamine (which I would take later in the day)?

You gain a more intense workout, heavier weights lifted. You lose some of the fat burning properties of Alphamine like 98% chlorogenic acid, etc. I recommend using both. Alphamine is great pre morning fasted cardio

does this also apply to ABE + Alphamine? I actually thought the best way was taking Alphamine first thing in the morning to enhance fat burning during the 14-hour-fasting-window while suppressing hunger, and ABE before/post-workout in the evening in order to increase appetite.
