I understand this is a matter of opinion

But what is the best lean protien supplement on the market, and it doesn't have to come from whey. Unless whey is just the absolute best lol. I wanna know why and brands because I've been doing research but I want to hear experienced reviews and reasoning.

As others have said (and will say), protein is protein. I use iForce Protean (and stocked up whenever possible at a good price before becoming a rep) because it's damn well flavored and is a quality blend of five USA-sourced proteins (whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, whey protein hydrolysate, micellar casein, and milk protein isolate).

Chocolate Truffle is fantastic, Vanilla Cupcake Batter tastes (and smells) like the real deal, Strawberry Creamiscle has real bits of freeze-dried strawberries (expensive, but a worthwhile touch - it's incredible), Red Velvet Cake and Vanilla Mint Swirl are both unique and mind-blowing. We've got a few more tricks up our sleeve in the near future, too. ;)

Sounds delicious! Im about to check this out, vanilla cupcake batter!?!?

It's the best vanilla I've tried - the formulators did a nice job getting a very true, rich flavor with just a hint of icing. I was suitably impressed, although Vanilla Mint Swirl and Strawberry Creamsicle are my personal favorites.

I force protean rocks! Love the vanilla mint. Waiting for a tub to be delivered today. Mixed with crystal light or mio is awesome!

if you are only taking 1-2 shakes a day, u dont notice a difference in the type of protein u take. i prefer more of a blended protein vs straight whey or something like that. i alternate though just because. no particular reason.

Thanks for the kind words - I'm getting some Vanilla Mint Swirl this month as well. It's hard to beat. :)

Protein is protein, within reason. I do my best to avoid soy - while I think the research is murky at best, I'm not willing to risk it when there's so many similarly priced (and, IMHO, safer and better tasting) milk protein products available.

For powdered protein I am a huge advocate of peptopro, 1 of many reasons being is that it is one of the only powdered proteins that doesn't eff with my stomach at all and causes no gas issues for me. Good god whey gives me the deadly farts. Just another suggestion.

Oh and then you have fishPRO.....coming soon ;)

Say wha????

FishPRO!?

Opens up so many possibilities.. venisonPRO, vealPRO, muttonPRO...

I'd say find a decent brand at a price you like. I mix micellar casein and whey together post workout and I've noticed the same type of recovery as when I did just whey years ago. I also like to have micellar casein Saturday night because if you put just enough liquid, it's almost like pudding! Convenience is fantastic and protein isn't really all that expensive when you compare a 24 grams of protein to what it would cost to get the same amount of protein in a quarter pound of meat from the store.

casein blends do make me satiated longer so regardless of the research, i like using casein heavy shakes later at night

i hate having to wake up from bed feeling hungry

similarly, i like using wpi/wpc shakes pre/post workout just because they are usually thin, and empty my stomach within 30-45min..
i train sorta late so i gotta make sure i don't get too full to train or to eat later on

I like I-force, XF, and Myofusion Elite. All great tasting.

Pb myo
XF lemon
Iforce VMS

My favorites right now. Other good ones too besides those.

btw how's Myofusion Elite? I really like the old Myofusion but since it changed to the Probotic formula it haven't been as tasty, is Elite like old Myofusion?

I like dymatize elite XT.been using it a couple years now. Has 3 different proteins in it, flavors are good, mixes well, tastes fine with just water and the cost is decent. 5lbs for $36 best bang for your buck at a supp shop IMO.

Every Protein is not created equal...no way..

Indeed. Case in point the Body Fortress Protein from Wal-Dump. That stuff gave my insides the business

Yes, I am very pleased with elite being I loved the old stuff. Probiotic was okay, but not as good as old stuff or elite. PB cookie dough is fantastic in milk.

Every type of protein has different biological value, different amino acid profile, etc.

If it was all the same we could all get jacked from eating pork rinds and hair

I like eating piggie chops and loin!
