Haha fufu man you are the beast. Your size is what I want but with your cuts. My metabolism sucks. But I don't know why I keep feeling bloated from week then another I'm feeling leaner. I did all that cardio last five days and felt more bloated :(

Maybe it's cardio timing ? To do it at specific time ? Or fasted ?

I read somewhere that too much cardio is not the best way to lose fat.

Remember when I was burning 5500-6000 cals per week on cardio with deficit diet ? Purely numbers wise, I should have really lost more weight than I actually did, but I didn't. I only started to lose fat by carb cycling and using GDA and toning down cardio. I am now thinking I shod have upped my calories or used a cortisol control product like reduce xt or both.

Like the people who have comment on this thread, you gotta do what works for you. If its not working don't be afraid to change things.

Also, have long term goals rather than short term goals. In the end, that's the best way to go about things I think. I have to keep remembering this point as well since I am stubborn to a fault.
 
Yeah i would like to do it first thing in morning but with my kids and job I have train afternoons. I don't know anything about how to control coritiosol but Ive felt for couple years now that mines out of whack.

That's the other tough thing. You have a family to take care of. I just have my GF. Like I said before, I respect family man like you who do it all. Don't be discouraged. Keep fighting. It's only February.

aside from excess cardio creating negative energy expenditure (the body will prefer to break down muscle over fat for energy), yes lowered test can become an issue as well - equating to further muscle loss and inhibition of musculature accrual

combine this with the fact that most who undertake this "radical cardio" also combine with undereating (i did not say eating like a bird :D), dropping caloric intake to ridiculously low levels..

Aaaaaanddd story of my life for the last 4 years. Once I dropped the massive cardio n upped my cals--> gained 13lbs muscle and visibly reduced body fat in 5-6 months

I thunk the biggest thing for Fu to take home is that all the supps he's using r priming him for a wicked recomp or cut.

That's his choice with calories and how he works out. But those supps will NOT ALLOW anyone get fat (so long as they don't seriously over eat) - leaving him with a great opportunity to up his cals (building muscle) and lean out simultaneously

I am more than willing to go with the higher calorie for this run although it was a b!tch trying to get 3,000 today. Fell little bit shy. Need to incorporate more good fats. I am taking EBF and Snags advice that by doing this I bring in more of an audience who may think this is a feasible method.

Not many probably want to go do cardio like I do and eat like a bird.

Anyway, in last years run, I used just the EBF stack (including natty v) and lost 20 lbs and about 4% body fat and close to 5 inches in my waist while maintaining my strength. Both measured by a nurse who does this every day for the gym members. Kinda like selling point for this gym I joined.

Not saying what I did was the best way to do things. I lifted like crazy and did 5,000 calorie burn per week. Ate calorie total equal to 10x my body weight. So between 2060 to 2260.

I don't know, maybe if I ate more and did less cardio, I might have lost 25 lbs and dropped 6% body fat.

Like everybody had mentioned, sometimes you have to do what works for you. However, you also have to be willing to change things up and listen. That's what I will do.

Not sure 3000 will be my target. It will be at least 2500.

Unbalanced macro today trying to hit 3,000 calories. Too much protein and not enough fat. Low carb eaten and not much bloating today if at all.

Hunger was somewhat suppressed and it was difficult to add calories. Will incorporate some natty peanut butter tomorrow. Ordered more Pronom and Protean for this run.

Good cardio session with excellent energy and dripping sweat. Breezed through 60 minutes like it was nothing. Decent chest session with some difficulty maintaining lift load from last week. Pumps were strong and muscles felt full during workout and throughout the day.

Will have measurement, protocol revision and pictures tomorrow. Not sure how much time I will have to post. This has been a busy work week already.

Yep. Trial and error.

Actually, this isn't IF set up by Zach. I just like the feel of fasting. Not a true IF as stated in their website or as Zach explains it. I try to fast apx 14-16 hours, then eat in 8-10 hour window.

I will not be putting up an update today. Today is a day of assessment. You can be sure that I am following the same dosing protocol. I will do 60 min cardio and throw in some light volume lifting.

Got all my measurements today including the 7 point skin fold assessment for body fat. I will put it up in post 3. That is where I will put up all body pictures and measurement and continue to update so you do not have to search through the posts to compare.

What a sobering effect actually seeing all numbers. Little disappointed in myself but I am already over it. I promised all numbers do you will see everything. i don't mind criticism. Sometimes a bit of smacking around is necessary. Don't need encouragement, as I know it's time to kill this b!tch.

I will also finalize the protocol and write in version control in post one.

Some commentary as well. You know I like to write.

Tomorrow is considered day 1 of treatment phase.

Sweet bring on the updates my friend! I hit some cardio today. No weights. I'm thinking once my Vanillalean arrives, just doing it and holding off to start the Msten til later. Since I'm backing off the weights.

Just got all caught up... some great info that I can certainly use to make everything more effective (I too keep falling into the too little cals, too much cardio, and so forth)... Guess that is the great thing about these logs! Thanks guys.
 
First Subject Enrolled in Open label study to assess efficacy of Recompadrol and AAV2 in combination with Vanillean, Forskolin-95 and Agmatine in overweight subject on calorie deficit diet.

Anytown, State, Feb. 7, 2013 /Newswire/ -- Initial subject has been enrolled in an open label efficacy study of Recompadrol and AAV2 manufactured by Enhanced Body Formulations Inc.

The subject completed the run in phase of this log without experiencing any tolerability issues. Tolerability issues are classified as GI issues, headaches, loss of energy, sleeplessness or accelerated heart beat. The subject also showed benefits from the dosing regimen in the way of loss of bloating, increased energy and increased sweating during cardio. There was also nominal weight loss.

It was determined that the subject met the initial inclusion criteria and was now qualified to proceed onto the treatment phase of the study where the subject will be given treatment doses for a period of 5 weeks.

The official start date marked as Day 1 is 08-Feb-2013.

seriously, you will not be disappointed Packa...

it is to me, THE BEST partitioner I have used.

no stomach or GI issues, no dizzy spells that some may cause. I have used a boat load of others and will say that this is the most versatile and cost effective one out of all of them.

My day started out at 4:30 am with a sample dose of Enhanced PWO. I had a great workout with ton of energy and my aerobic capacity was high. I won't go into too much details here about enhanced. You can find a separate review that I posted if you would like more details. I worked out for 1-1/2 hours. Strength maintained...muscle endurance high...and decent cardio with a lot of sweating to finish out.

Muscles were full and hard throughout the day and had a lot of energy rest of the day.

Appetite was down, so I had to drink some shakes with coconut oil added to fill my calorie target. No bloating to speak of.

Still no thermo effect at rest, but above average sweating when working out.

One of the best back workout I had in a long time until the end. I started off feeling mega strong and ripped through the beginning part of my workout. A lot of weight + contraction holds + drop sets. My back was really pumped and I felt great. I wanted to try out Rack pulls to finish it off and... roh roh. During my second set, my lower back started to spasm and I had to put the weight down. I felt it tighten up afterwards and give out a little. I went to stretch it out. Dumb or smart......I did light cardio to keep it warm before I went back out in the cold weather. I came home and iced it, then foam rolled. Every time I sat down, it was a chore to get up. Once up. I was OK. Took a hot Epsom salt bath then retired early.

This was unfortunately a familiar experience for me. I pulled my back a long time ago and it comes back once in a while with a vengeance. I did not push it further this time so I should be OK in couple days.

Diet was in check and everything else was good. Appetite was low again so adding coconut oil to my shake has really helped me maintain calorie intake. No other event of note.

Tomorrow maybe a cardio only day depending in how I feel. Unfortunately, I think I will cut out the deadlift day from this log. Risk versus Reward ? Not prudent at this point.
 
Morning update to my back situation.

Foam rolling again. Will ice it afterwards. Got back spams 3 times throughout the morning after I woke up. It has gone away for now.

I should be OK. Wasn't lifting heavy. When I felt the spasm, I knew to let go of the weight right away. Am taking Fish oil also.

How did you hurt your back ?
 
I had surgery on the disc between L4/L5... so feeling that pain FU, rest u.

My lower numbers on Squat and Deads are partly fear of wrecking my back again.
 
****ing back squats. WAs like a freak thing

Take care if your back. Mine is only spasms. It should go away in 1-2 days. You have more serious issues.
