Douchebags at the gym...

How about the guy doing pullups in the rack, curse the idiot who thought it was a good idea to put a pullup bar in a rack.

I tried using our rack today for about an hour and each time I came back some other douch was doing pullups.

The stupied pullup bar is right overtop where the bar hangers are. So you would have to strip the bar between sets.
 
I have to use the pullup handles that are attached to our squat rack (they protrude off the front of the rack not requiring the bar to be deloaded) only because it is the tallest pullup rack available to me. All of the other ones that I can use my knees touch the ground when I deadhang lol... being tall sucks sometimes.

I laughed out loud at the guy when he said this to my buddy, "Yeah, windshield wipers are great for your core, especially if you're a guy like me. I weigh about 176, but about 140 of that is below the waist."

Really? You don't train legs or do cardio and and nearly 80% of your bodymass is below the waist? Right....

So idk who's the douche in this scenario me or the two gallons of water I drink a day but I hate when I literally pee right before I get on the treadmill only to have to stop ten minutes in to pee again.

Clearly the treadmill is the douche in this situation.

The other day I walked into the locker room and there was an old guy hanging out in a t shirt with his balls hanging out. Took me about five minutes to change and he was just walking around like that. Even walked over to the urinal to take a piss. I think once you get past a certain age you just dont give a **** anymore
 
Yesterday I saw a woman using a machine leg press with about 40 pounds on it. She was reading a book and took about 15 seconds between reps. Boggles my mind what some people do, makes me question just what exactly they are trying to accomplish....

There's a skinny ripped dude at my gym that likes to randomly yell whao and yeah around the gym while working out. This is also the same guy who likes to slam wieghts on the floor. To make it worse the last 15 minutes the gym is open he decides to take his shirt off, flex and stare at himself in the mirror!!! This happens every time he is at the gym, I swear one day I'm going to hit him in the head with a 25 lb. dumdbell!!!

I would love to get a chance to head over to Armbrust to train along with Phil Heath!

Wife and I just moved to Denver. Don't really care for the town too much, but it's the most affordable option if we want to live in Colorado. Trust me it's a lot better then the last state I lived for the majority of my life (Indiana).

The other night at the gym there was this guy talking to his other lifting buddies and I over heard him say "I think I need to up the size of my beaters, I'm filling these out". He has no size at all except for the gut he tries to hide by sucking in all the time. This is also the same guy that spends most of the workout looking in the mirror and always waking with his chest sticking out as if he was the biggest in the gym.
 
Would you consider someone who is constantly texting on their phone while doing lifts and in between lifts a douche? Because the other day, while leg pressing/hack squatting, calf raising, plate pinching, I was texting the entire time.

Mind you, my rest time never changed and I still kept my rep tempo

ehhh kinda. to me it seems like the mental aspect isnt there. i absolutely hate the blue toothers that workout

I use my phone a lot when I workout. So no. Music, AM, text, log workouts if I forget my book, etc.

Gotta rest between your sets. And why not text message your mom and make sure she is making the meatloaf for dinner? Honestly dude... 45 mins for 6 sets of squats.

The nice thing about my gym... It's a college rec center. Most douches only do arms and chest. That's all the ladies care about right? The deadlift platform is only used by about 10 regular guys and the six squat racks are fairly empty. Legs don't matter right?

The douchebags at my gym are very big and muscular claiming the squat rack for well over an hour when there is only one.
 
Exactly, all of the gyms that I've gone to only have 1 rack. I will skip my warmup cardio just to get the dam rack
