17b-HSD1 and 17b-HSD5

hey Pat,

I was wondering if theres any substance know to increase endogenous levels of the 17b-HSD1 and 17b-HSD5 enzimes.

Those are responsible for hydrolizing Trenavar into Trenbolone by working the Ketone bond. Since this is a rate limiting factor I wondered if theres anything I can do to upregulate this convertion, or if any substances are know to inhibit or downregulate those enzimes?

On another subject, after countless searches for 11-oxo, I found one of your posts leading to Prototype Nutrition. Do you know if 11-oxo is more effective then the 7-keto family Androsta-3,5-diene-7,17-dione , regarding conrtisone-cortisol convertion ?

you can take NADH supplements as they will promote reduction at C17 by effecting the redox direction of those enzymes. Ethanol can temporarily switch the redox ratio towards reduction as well, but thats not a long term solution of course

If you took an excess of steroid that has a 17b-OH group (beta-AET for exacmple) that may also could change the redox towards reduction and activation for the 17keto steroid

11-oxo should be better than 7-keto. the androsta35 you mention has no evidence for it that it effects that enzyme that i am aware of. it is being promotoed for that for some reason

Greatly appreciated Patrick.

Word... I read that the androsta 35 compound MAY prevent cortisone -cortisol convertion by keeping the 11-Beta-HSD1 Enzyme ''busy'' metabolizing the 7-keto compound... thus by some sort of competitive inhibbition. But as mentioned couldnal evidence.. even blood work seems to be lacking on this.

Ok and also... any idea of when the Urspray (prototype nutrition) will be avaliable again?

7keto-dhea is known to affect that enzyme but the compound in question is different in structure in a pretty significant manner. substarates fit into enzymes like a lock and key remember

You know how I know you're old?

Induced fit bro

hey i know its not quite like a lock and key. the ligand and receptor interact (i.e. electrostatically) and change conformations a bit and then bind. but for the simple folk on here its easy to just use that old analogy
