Can we please get the rules straight? I was two yards over, the texas dude was 6 under. Therefore it was not an equal amount of difference from the actually yardage, I was three times closer to the correct yards. For example:

Then you put this rule into play which specifically address only a tie in an over vs under situations, i.e. the same amount of yards apart from neutral (the actual winning yards).

Sorry if this is coming of a little brash but it's getting frustrating now. I'm going strictly off your own rules. If you make changes to them, at least be fair and do it before the game is over. Just a suggestion, it would help if you edited your original post to add any rule changes in as well for easy finding and for the newcomers as well.

Yes, IF it was a tie, however 280 is closer to 278 then 272 is.

Therefore,
280-278=2 yards off (me)
278-272=6 yards off (texas)

Not a tie or equal distance apart thus the going over rule does not apply.

Why is this so difficult? I shouldn't be having to do this. Kinda ruins the excitement of winning and puts a damper on the whole thread.

I love the way Manning Comands his team.. But Brees has thrown 300+every game this year.. I like both.. Colts have the better record this year.. Should be an awesome game :thumbup:
