Aaron,

I briefly checked out the Purus booth yesterday at the Olympia. It looks pretty slick. Anybody there who I should talk to for an extra hookup? They had pre made ConDense out there and I probably drank about a gallon of the Apple flavor since it tastes so damn good.....

Snap a couple pix of the booth if you can.

Just talked to an AEN rep, he said they didn't have Condense when he got to the Purus booth. Dewey must've drank it all :)

I'm really wanting to gain but I want to stay fairly cut. Is this going to be possible if so what should my diet look like?

The text book answer are lean meats (fish, tuna, chicken), healthy fats (p butter & almonds), & complex carbs (sweet potato, brown rice); play around with calorie dense healthy whole foods to find what suits you best. :)
Also some people get crazy with counting cals, I'm not huge on that. I believe healthy foods & healthy lifting. I only do this to look good & for general health though so my goals may differ from others.

Whats your stats? How long training?

I'm 6'0 175lbs about 13% fat Don't want to go any higher than that I'd actually like go get to around 10 and stay there I don't think it would be healthy to stay lower than 10% right? I'd like to be about 200lbs and 10% I've been lifting for about a year but I've always been pretty healthy. Played football and basketball and stuff like that and worked out then. I'm now 34. Would love some tips

How many carbs you eat a day and how strict on your diet are you right now? I lifted very seriously but didn't get the results I wanted until my diet was on point.

Lol just because his diet is full of d!ck doesn't make him a guru, just a homo.

Your PM are full.

I've been studying about working out a lot LOL sounds funny and I've learned that your diet really is key that's why I'm wanting information from someone like you. Books and magazines just aren't the same as getting advice from someone I can talk to and that has done it. I am planning on starting to count grams tomorrow. I wanted to know the range I'm looking for first. Can or will you look at my stats and tell me what I need to be eating to get to lean dry 200 lbs and any tips would be great I can't find anyone to do this with me so I'm hoping to find someone on here

Realistically you would have to bulk up and cut down multiple times to get from where you are to where you want to be.

I know there are guys who eat low carbs to no carbs to high/moderate carbs.
In all cases solid, natural quality foods work for just about anyone.
This kid I know 230/40/50 somewhere around there & no more than 23, hit b press with 4 caddys maybe 5 on either side (been over a year since I seen it) & he doesn't take any "roids" or any of that b/s. Just a solid old fashioned mamas diet of healthy wholesome filling foods & pushing himself to get stronger. That was more impressive to me than seen a juice head incline 3/4 plates.

If you bulk without gaining exorbitant amounts of fat, your % will go down.

From 175 to ~215? I didn't say it isn't possible but realistically for him to bulk up 30 lbs and lose BF he while staying lean he would have to bulk and cut more than one time.

Really depends on diet, discipline, and the amount of time that he wants to accomplish this goal in. Multiple cycles of cutting and bulking is a wast of time IMO. Takes just as long to gain the muscle slowly than it does to gain it fast then cut the fat and lose some muscle. I think the best way is a steady one way progression towards his goal.

I have found this out the hard way numerous times and don't like to see people make the same mistakes, when it could easily be avoided.

I agree and tend to believe that lean bulks followed by recomps are more beneficial in the long run but I also believe that to do this you need a good deal of experience with your body and a good deal of patience.
