Okay...awesome stuff to report today! I didnt weigh in today because I wore sweats and a heavy shirt to help me retain body heat and sweat during my workout. Definitely proved effective, lemme say that much!
Today was a chest training day as well as a medium carb day.
Training:
Barbell Bench Press: 135x15, 225x10, 315x8, 335x5, 335x3
Barbell Bench (Wide Grip): 225x12, 225x10, 225x8
Decline DB Press: 50x12, 70x10, 90x8, 100x5
Inclind DB Press: 50x12
Incline Cable Cross: 25x12, 40x10, 30x12
Dips (Failure): 26
Pushups (Failure): 25
Cardio: 300 calories, stairmaster intervals (even though I thought I was going to die the entire time)
Training was incredible today. I decided to switch it up and go back to doing bench press first rather than doing my dumbbell workout first. Just a change of pace to mix things up a bit. I'm really glad that I did this. You will notice a few numbers bolded from my training, these are all PR's! My previous bench press PR was 315x3 and was done when I was using Hdrol (hardly counts). I ended up getting 315x8 (which became a PR at that point) and still had gas in the tank, went for 335x5 (now my PR). After 335x5 (my current PR) I finished ith 335x3 (which would have been a PR if I had not just gotten 5 reps). Incredible time on the bench press! Also....I hit 90lb and 100lb dumbbells on decline DB Press. Both of which were PR's as they happened, the 90lb became a PR and then I Immediately broke it on the next set with the 100lb DB's. Fantastic weight training day. Also worth noting: I was sweating during my weight training today. This usually doesnt happen, I usually dont sweat unless im doing cardio. Good sign from Clen!
Cardio was good. Sweating like crazy the entire time (thank you Clen). Really can feel the clen in my chest when I am doing cardio. Deeper breaths are harder to take and it feels like my lungs are being squeezed the entire time. It's more exhausting to do cardio, but it is noticeably more effective.
All in all, training was fantastic!
Diet:
Meal 1 (Pre-workout): Banana, 8oz ground beef, 3 small cookies (I'll explain)
Meal 2 (Post-workout): Banana, 8oz Greek Yogurt, 25g protein isolate
Meal 3 (Lunchish): 8oz ground beef
Meal 4 (Dinner): 8oz ground beef
Total: 1858 calories, 95g carb, 55g fat, 231g protein
I went over my daily calories by 58, no big deal. Had a little extra protein in there that put me over a bit. Also, about the chocolate chip cookies.... I bought a giant freaking box of chocolate cookies (like 50-75 cookies) on Saturday evening for my cheat day that I had before this 9 week clen cycle. I split the box of cookies with a friend here in Cali. However, 3 cookies were on the counter this morning and he claimed they were from my half of the cookies, he wouldnt eat them. I knew it was going to tempt me the entire time they existed and that I would eventually eat them anyways (I lack discipline with sweets sometimes) so I went ahead and pounded em sooner than later. I figured pre-workout was as good as time as ever. This also let me remove all crap from the house and prevent anymore temptations from occuring. I have found the best way for me to avoid temptations is to seperate myself from them as much as possible! Not a lot else to report from the diet. Macros were still really close to where they should have been, even with the cookies!
Conclusion: Any time you set multiple PR's ... its been a great day. Diet is semi-good and training was fantastic, cant ask for a lot more.
A few things to note:
1. Clen is making me sweat noticeably more
2. Hunger throughout the last 2 days has been minimal.
3. Im shedding a lot of water weight. Peeing almost as soon as I can drink anything.
