Ecdy with a PH stack?

Is it possible to run Ecdysterone (20-Beta-Hydroxyecdysterone) with 1-AD and 4-AD (diol, not the DHEA compound) cycle?

I was thinking about 600-900mgs a day.

I had tried several ecdy products years back and never got anything out of them nor did I see any research on them showing any effectiveness.

Would it be better to throw Havoc, or Reversitol V2 instead of Ecdy in with this cycle? Or is that too many compounds?

lol you're asking which would be better in conjunction to your 1ad/4ad cycle, some herbs and spices or havoc?

Ecdy in pct. I used it both on cycle and in pct and didnt do ****. Looking for an anabolic in pct try a Sarm

There is much merit in running both an androgen/Ecdy concurrently, yes. 1-AD/4-AD (any AAS or PH, really) maximize DNA Transcription - or the message to the cell nucleus to "turn on" protein machinery. Ecdy works the other side of the protein synthesis coin, generating greater mRNA Tranlation in the ribosome. Important to point out that this is the rate limiting step in protein synthesis (mRNA Translation). As well, Ecdy conveys excellent protective effects in the liver, kidneys, cholesterol values etc..

ONE CAVEAT: 20-Hydroxyecdysterone is but one of 463 ecdysterones identified to date (with more on the way). More info in the below link. It's far from the best Ecdy to use, as you'd be missing out on the benefits of many, many others. Whatever you do, do NOT use a 20-H (or any other Ecdy), from the source genus Cyanotis Vaga. This is inferior source material, and both the published research and real world results usually result in little to nothing.

Rather, the preferred source genus is Rhaponticum Carthamoides Extract standardized for the "full spectrum" of ecdysteroids (and other beneficial compounds) contained in the plant. In fact, you'll find reference to something known as the "levseins" complex, in the former Soviet literature. This is a grouping of 10 to 12 ecdysteroids (depending upon who's literature you read), in a specific ratio to each other. There are other beneficial compounds in RCE, such as tannins and resins. One of these resins has been shown to mitigate the body's ability to store carbohydrate as fat.

An excellent overview of Ecdysterone's merits can be found here -

We are learning more (much more) about how Ecdy works, including it's MOA or mode of action. In 2009 when I wrote "The Blueprint", I speculated that it worked through the PI3K/AKT pathway. One year later, research at Rutgers confirmed this (1)

Abstract

"Phytoecdysteroids, structurally similar to insect molting hormones, produce a range of effects in mammals, including increasing growth and physical performance. In skeletal muscle cells, phytoecdysteroids increase protein synthesis. In this study we show that in a mouse skeletal muscle cell line, C(2)C(12), 20-hydroxyecdysone (20HE), a common phytoecdysteroid.... elicited a rapid elevation in intracellular calcium, followed by sustained Akt activation and increased protein synthesis. The effect was inhibited by a G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) inhibitor, a phospholipase C (PLC) inhibitor, and a phosphoinositide kinase-3 (PI3K) inhibitor.

It's for this (and other) reasons that I elected to include RCE in my very first product, Synthagen. Ecdy conveys so many benefits, I honestly believe it will ultimately be found to be as healthy as fish oil, perhaps moreso.

FINAL NOTE: While researching RCE to include in Synthagen, I stumbled across yet another benefit it brings to the table - an impressive increase in Arachadonic Acid pools. For those familiar, this is the same nutraceutical found in XFactor Advanced, by Molecular Nutrition. In the same research paper cited above, on page 16 under "Rapid Membrane Effects", you'll note the following:

""20E* increases the pool of free arachidonic acid and the synthesis of leukotrienes and prostaglandins..." .

*20E here is 20-hydroxyecdysterone. As you know, this is but one of MANY ecdysterones found in RCE, some of which are still being identified.

I also found reference to this (increase in AA pools) via other published studies. In those, the increase was cited as, "dramatic". Sincerely hope that helps, in deciding if Ecdy is right for you... :)
