Never Listen to Milas about RecoverPro

1 scoop of Lemon RecoverPro and 1 scoop of Pina Colada Focus XT and I get a delicious and invigerating drink I now call...ReFocusPro. Do it.

Good to know.

Have you had the black cherry FXT? That intrigues me as well.

Wouldn't know. Ain't got no focus xt. I think agmatine is likely going to be the first thing I pick up from SNS when I get around to it.

That's probably me most and least favorite. I love the taste the best, simply amazing, but I hate how much dye is in it for the coloring cause it stains everything.

Agmatine is a nice supp to have Roger. I only take it on chest, back, and arm day to make it last and have a better response for the pumps.

Bennifer - my stim detox didn't to much (leads me to believe I still have screwed up circadian rhythm and cortisol levels), but I ran 4 bottles of Revamp during those 5 months off, too.

I'd say you're definitely do. Your 800mg sounds like what I used to do before all this and it's scary looking back. That kind of stuff can occur for only so long before you jack your adrenals up badly (and hopefully they're fixable). I'd start cutting back and then go cold turkey for at least 4-8 weeks. The headaches are miserable the first 10-14 days, but it's fine after that.

Matty, I've always loved the keto diet (I had great success on one about 2 years ago), but the more I research, now, the more it makes me nervous and I think a modified carb cycle is a better route. I went 2 weeks in one stretch without a carb-refeed (it might have been 10 days), last January when I was trying to cut. And what carbs I was getting during that time is just whatever some almonds and cheese might have had in it. I'm taking a nutrition course, now (remedial, but necessary for dietetics programs and I never took it in college) and it talks about the necessities of glucose by use of the brain (information most of you probably know, but I did not). Even on low-carb days, I would ensure 50g. I had a lot of days of maybe 20g carbs, tops. That's incredibly scary looking back and may have been one of the issues leading to what I'm tackling, now.

Yea. Keto diets are good but only if you are not working out much and are sick.
They will help you lose weight it you are inflammed and stuff. Ketone bodies are enough for most of the bodies functions after that you get glucose from gluoneogenesis. Which sucks because that whole cascade uses cortisol and excessive use of it can lead to elevated cortisol.
Well I will probably just stick to my low carb non workout days and medium carb workout days.

Fl3x cracks me up:
my boss called me into his office and had all my supplements tacked to a cork board, and they were all labeled, and he told me I had some explaining to do and I was probably going to be fired. I went on a rampage and was setting vehicles on fire, and I remember showering in the handicap shower and thinking "hah this will show them!"

Any chance you think they'll opt for less dyes in the stim-free version or any of the new batches of product?

I really wish companies would get over products needing to be a certain color as long as they taste fine. I'll admit, though, that it was weird drinking CL's Oximega Greens when it looked like dirt lol.

Dyes suck. Supposedly red has a stronger placebo effect. I hate adding water to a powder and seeing it turn a colour so bright it looks like it has nuclear potential lol.

Very true. What I find disturbing is the blueish powder in my lemon lime bcaas. Hits the water, blue, then magically turns yellow.

I don't know why anyone would want to make their powders blue lol. If it was blueberry flavour I would understand!

Maybe we should start a campaign against overuse of dyes.

I wonder if it's the dyes in the powders that mess with my stomach so badly.

I seem to remember StakedCop saying he had GI problems when taking in products with red dyes. It was ages ago so I could easily be mistaken.

A lot of the research on them is done in rats which is why it is so easy to argue that they are not 'proven to be dangerous in adults'.

On the other side if a supplement company uses rat research for their supplements then ignoring rat research on food dyes seems questionable. I still use pre workout products with dyes and colourings in but I definitely prefer those without.

Should we just campaign for no use of dyes in Flex's P-slin thread?

we're trying to limit the dyes. the problem comes with changing the flavor when also changing the dyes. the caffeine free version will be different flavors as well.

I can help! :D

I don't understand the implication, tell me please.

I just remember back in the day Nutraplanet had all these awesome products now it seems to be so main stream with the likes of the other places.

Any company gets enough requests it will be carried. That's business bud.

I see you are curiously dipping your toe into the water and testing this thread out.

Will you be a mainstay or just a visitor? Things get pretty messy in here.
