Update weight wise I'm somehow 238, i think i may be backed up a little from the protein guess well see by the end of the day haha. Yesterday i was 239 again too but still the same lean wise...

What have u been eating?

What have u been eating?

Lots of protein, a good amount of carbs and a lot less fat than i used to. I took a sustained release protein a few times yesterday so that could be why or i just need more fiber. Will probably go pick some benefiber up.

Alright so today i weighed in at 232lbs, i was backed up definitely but i see a difference. Today had a disgusting leg sessions that started with leg press high reps 15-20 heavy weight and after about 4 sets of that went over to Yoke bar squats did 3 sets heavy and then a 30 rep set doing the bottom half of the squat never stopping it was pure agony i was sweating shotgun shells (**** bullets haha) Then after that i did 2 sets of rack pulls by then i was FRIED, after i did a 5+ minute extended standing calve raise set that was so insane i literally was scared i was going to tear my calves. Pumps were crazy too my calves look like cows pumped up!

Actually not yet haha still gotta get it from meijer, i like your avi by the way :13:

Thx.
Every1 fave by far haha.

So trained upper body today went really well, legs are still really sore from higher reps. Doing 12-15 reps with heavier weights is tough as sh*t! have a really good feeling that this will make me grow. :)

Yeah buddy! I still go low reps some times but not all the time, moderately heavy weights for 12-15 reps is no joke i swear it's as hard or harder than low reps 6-8. By the time i get to the 8th rep i feel like it's been eternity, 10-12 i'm making noises from the searing burn and 12-15 i'm gritting my teeth and very slowly getting 13,14 and then struggling and shaking like crazy i get that 15th one. It is HARD but after the set i have this epic pump and since the weight is usually really close to my heavier ones i still can control the weight because it's heavy but not TOO heavy so i can grind out some more reps. Higher reps with heavy weight has done wonders for my legs and there HAS to be a way to transfer those ridiculous gains over to my upper body. I remember when i was first starting high rep squats my legs grew seriously an inch or 2 in one month, it was extremely hard but in my opinion it has to be the best way for over all hypertrophy. Keeping the weights heavy ENOUGH is the key. When the weights are too heavy or too light you will know! Either you won't feel like your in control or the weight will be so light that you barely feel the target muscle contracting.

I'm sweating just from reading about your last two workouts!

w00t! Glad i could relay the intensity i had to you guys on here. :sly:

Seriously loving HGHpro though, helps me sleep so much better and since I've been getting less rest due to increased work schedule it's really gratifying to have a great nights sleep with limited hours. Oh and i got a raise at work!! I've only been there a few months and getting a $.60 raise while being paid under the table is a GIGANTIC step forward for me. My boss and i are more like friends than anything else and he likes how i am taking the initiative to promote our facebook page, get more samples in the store and talk to company reps and learn from them all. We've had a couple setbacks recently but we keep doing better and better. I definitely feel like i'm on the right track right now! I'm hoping the better i get the more i can market myself towards helping/inspiring others. I'm taking it slow though i'm young and patient i know i will get what i want and am willing to keep consistent to get there!

Agreed youll be surprised how much bigger you look in pictures when you lean down. You already have the size, I recommend slowly leaning down rather than faster , it makes the leaning down learning process easier in my opinion (I could be wrong)

Keep it up Nick, question when you gained a couple pounds, did you have a cheat meal?

I agree with that completely man, from now on i'm going to diet down slowly it works a ton better anyways. Yeah it was after a cheat meal too, could of been glycogen or something though who knows!

bis are lookin pretty full too my friend

Thanks! That's where i'm seeing a difference too, i can see a vain coming in on my right art it's so sweet. :D
Arms are a part i'm working to bring up and it looks like it's working!

Yeah man u def got that size on u man.
Sorry if I missed, but u been hitting cardio?
What's your Cals and carbs like? What have u been eating?

Wow you definitely leaned up my friend!
To shredville we go!

Shredville! haha i like that thanks man.

Thanks, so far haven't done any cardio just focused on diet + training. D-Aspartic Acid works so well for dieting down it helps you drop fat quicker and maintain/grow if your calories are right. :)
My cals are right around 2500-2700 currently, not really sure on carbs they're a little over 200 i'm guessing? And I've been eating eggs, turkey burgers, these weight watcher meals my mom buys a ton of (to save me money haha) protein shakes pre/post/before bed. That's about it!

Great leg session today, for half-rep squats did 405 x 14 reps, legs were on fire but felt amazing afterwards. People need to learn to mind their own business though i hate having to explain to people why i'm doing half reps on purpose all the time. From now on my response will be "because i enjoy being small and weak" i enjoy doing half reps on some exercises because i feel it more in the target muscle and can control greater amounts of weight with more intense contractions which is what builds muscle. People worry too much about making the exercise look "pretty" and "entertaining" sometimes. I can guarantee you when i go back to full squats i will be able to get at least 40+ more lbs on my squat for reps. I do extreme stretching after each set anyways so who cares if i stretch at the bottom? Who care's if my ass isn't touching the floor? I'm not there to satisfy your little arrogant mind, If stretching built so much muscle than yoga teachers would look like Arnold Schwarzenegger!!
Sorry for the little rant guys haha I'm liking the higher time under tension i get from these reps too.

I like to do the same, great endurance with heavy wt leads to some great gains! Then when I go HEAVY I still get 8-10 reps :)

Hell yeah! i plan to go heavy next upper body session :D

Had the muscletech rep back in the store again and i finally realize that muscletech is turning a complete 180 right now, their products are even better now they disclose EVERY ingredient and HOW MUCH is in each serving.
Also everything is way cheaper, perfect example is Neurocore, well use creatine HCL also known as Con-Cret to most as an example.

Con Cret 48 servings at 750mg per serving: $37 in my store
Neurocore 45 servings at 1,000mg per servings: $36 in my store. (Not including citrulline and all that jazz)

I learned a ton about this stuff today from the rep, i honestly believe they are about to set out some really good products. Sorry to get off track! My new pre-workout haha

ive heard some great things about neurocore actually.........and dont listen to no one bro, do what wors for u and jsut keep killin it, at the end of the day, the guy with perfect form who doesnt bust his ass aint gonna have anything to show or it anyways

That's good,i get a cool focus from it but i think i need a break from stims for a while. Exactly man that's what i tell people, it's all about how you feel an exercise not how you do an exercise. Maybe in the long run it may "not" be a good idea but that's all subjective just like anything in life. No 2 people do something the exact same way.

agreed on the DAA. How have you managed to get used to the hunger from 4-5k to 2.5-2,7 k?

I'm a wizard!

But in all seriousness it is tough, I've been getting a little closer to 3k but i'm pretty sure 2.5 is money for me so gotta stick at it.

yea, great question lol bump on that one

WIZARDRY!

2.5k is pretty good for being able to continue to lose. I'm maintaining at 3.5k atm. ;)

Oooooh nice, how much would you recommend someone eat to maintain gains in pct?

More than you did on cycle is usually the go to. Unless you are gaining a significant amount of fat after coming off, fat gain is better than muscle loss in PCT.

Ah i see, makes sense too! Fat comes off easier than muscle get's put on xD

For those trying to get HYOOGE ! Yes. ;)

That's is commonly what I believe as well....fat loss easy, eat less, exercise (provided you are already eating enough for your body to grow, and you are doing a smart program of exercise and eating QUALITY food). But to gain weight... you might need to eat till you sick... and muscle just doesnt grow sometimes... well fat doesn't come off sometimes either.... lol

Fat loss for me was the same as finding what works to gain, 500 under maintenance is my sweet spot.

DAA helps you with your fat huh? I have been taking a product with it just wondering how much you would take

3 Grams E/D

Exactly, i think when fat loss stops there are a couple factors to look at.
1. Food intake
2. How drastic your calories are, too low and you may need a cheat day to re-kick start metabolism.
3. Cardio - You don't NEED to do cardio but some enjoy doing it. I myself like to focus on training. Although the first time i got really lean i did a lot of cardio but little weight training.
