We're firing up at around the same time...going to fire my log up today, as I just took my first dose now. Going to follow the same dosing protocol as you. 4ml a day for 30 days.

Nice, I think 4ml a day is the way to go without buying another bottle.

Took my first ml this morning. Taste isn't great but it doesn't make me gag or anything. It just leaves a not so good after taste for a couple of minutes
 
Updated my starting stats. Eating healthy and hitting 2500 calories is pretty hard. I plan to eat a minimum of 2200cals a day but aiming for 2500.
 
Day 1 - 1/7/12

Dedicated today to Clean and Jerks. Haven't did them enough lately, so I plan to do them at least once a week.

Did 270x3, everything felt easy and I always check out a "strengthtech" percentage chart. My jerk should be way better than 280, I guess I'm just a p*ss and let it get into my head.
 
Those numbers dont seem bad. Although Ive never performed that move sooo...guess I wouldnt know

It's not that the numbers are bad, its just my clean is so much better and my jerk just gets in my head after I split.
 
Ahhh..I hear ya. I know its different. But my overhead press is OK, but like nmy side laterals are awful, so I kinda get it
 
Goddamn that is impressive numbers. How long you been weightlifting? 270lb clean and jerk for a 170lb lifter is advanced athlete level.

I've been doing the clean and jerk on and off for about a year and a half. I've been stuck with a 280 jerk for 6 months. First time going for something above 280 I dipped too far in my split and decided to bail. I somehow managed to let it fall behind me and slide down my back which didn't hurt that bad just got in my head. So now I end up bailing early lol

Thanks for the compliment, hoping to get it a lot better. There's several kids around here that do as much or more than me :(

Definitely fun if you're any good at the technique. I actually feel like I'm better at snatch but none of my friends do it so I only clean and jerk to beat them.

Lol! Diet can definitely suffer some times! It's even more difficult when you have a wife that really likes to cook tasty things that are not in the plans!

I like to reference charts also but you've got to keep in mind that is just what they are, a reference. Just because the charts say you should be lifting said weight doesn't mean you can. You might be able to lift more than what the chart says too. I like to pick a weight and see what my max reps are at that weight then check the chart to see how well it matches. If I'm lower with my numbers, it gives me my next goal but if I'm higher with my numbers, I .........well, I set higher goals then too! Lol! Keep up the hard work!

Yeah, I wish they weren't just references lol. Oh well, looks like I have a new goal.

For sure i try not to over analyze any charts cause i know what i can do and what i can't. Its good for reference but thats about it in my mind.
 
true that. I love looking back for referance..but when things dont match up..I try not to get too unmotivated
 
Where do you guys get most of your carbs from if you're eating clean? There's a cereal I like, that seems healthy to me, that I might start eating again. Wheat bread tastes bad lol
 
eggs, rolled oats. Well thats for me. My clean eating isnt the cleanest though..still working on it

I dont think there's anything wrong with some natty peanut butter: protein, carbs, fat (good fat). I add banana & PB to my protein to increase cals, way better than a gainer shake.

Yeah, I'm just not a huge peanut butter fan lol. I normally munch on cashews during the day, they taste great.
