Well like I said, my wrist is kinda f'd up so I had to alter my routine.
Had a couple ideas, first one was to lower the bar on the smith down to the bottom stops, load some weight on, and with the bar rested on my traps, do pushups on my fists. Tried it out, kept rolling the hooks and accidentally setting the weight down on the upper pegs lol..
Then I slid a flat bench in there, lowered the stops to where I could just squeeze under the bar, put squat pads on the bar, and used my fists to press the bar up. Was working ok but I wasn't satisfied.
SO I just busted out a 5x5 flat press routine on the smith using 75% extension, any more than that and it really started hurting. Had to use less weight than usual. Here is how it looked:

Flat smith press:
145x5 (starting weight, up 5 from last week)
175x5 (up 5)
195x5 (up 5)
215x5 (last week this was 230, kept it low to save the wrist)
235x5 (would have been 250)

Incline DB flyes:
30 (a piece)x14
40x15
50x12
40x10

Got a good pump goin now, yeah buddy!!

Deadlifts:
135x5
175x5
205x5
225x5
255x5

Tricep DB kickbacks:
35x10
30x10
25x10
25x10

Now that my triceps are burning, time to get some focused reps out on the chest, taking tri's out of the equation.

Pushups on fists:
20 reps
12 reps
Superset into Decline pushups (toes on bench):
10 reps

PHEW!

I had to skip shoulders this workout because of the wrist, so hopefully in two days it's better and I can bust out some military press and some volume sets of DB clean and press.

My first dose of P-Bold today was at 11 am, second dose was just after my preworkout meal at 3pm, roughly two hours before the gym. Third dose about half hour before the gym...one more dose left tonight.
I'm going back on day shift Tuesday, so I'm slowly adjusting my dosing schedule to a day plan.

It was hard to gauge my strength today due to my wrist but I did get a good pump!

I'm getting used to it now...been on a swing shift for the past 3 years, two weeks of nights 3 days on 2 off 2 on 3 off repeat, then two weeks of days same schedule. The hard part is when someone calls in sick and I'm carrying the pager, could go in on days or nights just like that, or if someone posts vacation I'm expected to cover it, which I usually do end up covering. An extra 12-24 hours (at overtime pay) on a paycheck is a pretty huge difference!

LOL yeah...I spent a good portion of my afternoon doing that too. Gets stressful, especially when you have a log going at the same time!
So worth it though ;)


GUYS I forgot to mention in my last update, the girlfriend (who I see just about every day) told me my muscles looked bigger and wanted me to go step on the scale. Unfortunately my scale has a dead battery lol. BUT, I'm wondering, could this be a sign of glycogen storing? Muscles filling up maybe?
She's been right every time, when I was running Pro Xanthine on a cut, she said I looked like I had been tanning, and since I wasn't, I can only guess I was cutting up. Same with the recomping effects I was looking for when I ran Transaderm. And on my last bulk, she said the same thing about looking bigger.

I feel like a broken record cause i'm planning my next run with Taurus stuff. I'm excited about alot of our products coming out and you never know with Eric when something will pop up.

I forgot to mention, my knee actually felt really good today. I did some warmups with seated leg curls light weight between some of my chest sets so it was full of blood and warm by the time I started my deads, didn't feel any pain in it today. If it holds up on squats in a couple days after some warmups like this, I am going to up the weight a bit more.
Also, this is the first cycle where I've focused on going heavy with squats and deads. Prepare for some huge jumps in those lifts!
 
I forgot to mention, my knee actually felt really good today. I did some warmups with seated leg curls light weight between some of my chest sets so it was full of blood and warm by the time I started my deads, didn't feel any pain in it today. If it holds up on squats in a couple days after some warmups like this, I am going to up the weight a bit more.
Also, this is the first cycle where I've focused on going heavy with squats and deads. Prepare for some huge jumps in those lifts!

NO DEAL! You're far strong than me on those leg movements lol. And your BB rows are just crazy! But if I pass your lifts then I'm going to edit this post and act like we were competing all along.

Hope you can find a decent restaurant around there without fried everything on the menu so your blood pressure doesn't skyrocket on a cheat meal day lol.

I think it's more due to the inflammatory response to the damn flour that is in everythign. This past weekend I went on a trip to the Sheraton in Miyazaki (around 4 hrs away from where I live). And they had that allergic warning stuff. Flour is in EVERYTHING. Even the fricken sushi?! Was in everything except the roasted chicken, and some radish patties they made... most of the soups, salads, dressings, "healthy" stir fries, curry, all had flour in them... i was like... wtf?! This is why whenever I was at home i'd either cook my own EVERYTHING, or eat only at this korean place where I had the bbq chicken.

So, you doing the 5x5 on this I take it? I must have missed your workouts (might follow your preworkout log for that, if you still post) as I don't remember what your last lifts were... but then again maybe not that much time passed even though we are in the double digit page counts... How you liking the strength?

on cycle what do you do for cardio? Like just for over all heart health? anything? lol. I normally don't do anythign but i'm wondering if I should ... haha!

Yeah I don't do SH!T for cardio on or off cycle lol, I want all the gainz I can get! I feel like the hour I put in with the weights is already pretty good for cardiovascular health. Especially if you throw in some supersets.
I did some digging and found that on 11/23 my first set on flat press was 140, and I remember only getting 3 out on my heavy set, so looks like I am progressing.

I always loved 5x5 when i got my chance to do 5aOHP i was just starting it back up, but i do butt loads of cardio in there, made sure i did atleast 3, 5K's a week. But thats what works for me i have to keep my cardio game in tip top performance or i start adding to many pounds.

3 a week man that doesn't sound fun lol. What's your caloric intake look like? Are you the type to put it on fairly fast?
I could eat 6k cals for a week off cycle and probably only put on a pound or two!
