Your first mistake was believing an add in a bb magazine.
my body must respond well to baking soda then
Magnesium Creatine Chelate has worked the best for me as well. It also has human studies backing it up, studies that say it works better than mono. I've found this is true in my own experiences as well.

krealkalyn is creatine monohydrate with a buffer agent.... you can made it at your kitchen mixing creapure with bicarbonate and is cheaper...
Negative, and what makes Kre-Alk so good is it is the only creatine that can digest in an acidic environment(like your stomach). No other creatine digests from ph levels 7-14 so it honestly is the only purely absorbable creatine. And it's not as simple as it seems to make kre-alk, if it were there wouldn't be MULTIPLE government issues patents. Alot of people "don't see results" simply because unlike mono you don't bloat! People mistake water weight gain for increase in lbs of muscle.
But everyone responds differently to creatine, I personally dont see a benefit when I take creatine.

i personally like them both. Monohydrate seems to make me retain more water which is why i prefer using it on lifting days and on non lifting days I will just use kre alkalyn.
how many grams of monohydrate and how many grams of krealk ?
5 grams monohydrate (1 teaspoon) or 5 grams of kre alkalyn (1 teaspoon) I dont buy the idea that you need less kre alkalyn. I have tried it at 1.5 gram doses and it was consideraly less effective for me. Even though the doses are the same size the only difference i really notice is less water weight/bloat with kre alkalyn
you take less creatine with krealk... cause its 5gr with the buffer agent...
you can try to take 2,5-3gr of monohydrate with 2-2,5gr of sodium/potassium bicarbonate with empty stomach and see how it goes with bloating....
I don't really respond to creatine that much in general, I tried everything but nitrates (which is suppose to be good for pumps,
which are imho pretty useless aside from temporary excitement..)
I've been on Kre for the longest time, noticed nothing different from creapure, noticed nothing different
when dropped Kre and went back to creapure.
Regardless, what do you really expect from creatine? is not that will bring such incredible gains or strength
or recovery or whatever, it help a bit, very lil for some a lil more for others. Beta Alanine (with creatine) got me
way better and noticeable effects
